I used to use rubbing alcohol and cotton balls to remove thermal paste from my Xbox 360, and while it would work eventually it took hours. Now I remove thermal paste in less than 5 minutes, and with maximum efficiency. The surface always sparkles. In addition, the cleaner smells wonderful!

Comment: Overall this stuff worked great, it took it all off (with the help of a putty knife) and it made all the old thermal paste and residue slide like butter. This was for cleaning a 360 and while it did not fix my Red Ring of Death problem, it cleaned the CPU and GPU beyond my expectations :)

It's horrible. It did its job very well, but not much better than alcohol. For the price, it's not really worth it.

Also, clears off the intel stock TIM reall quickly and using a paper towel, most of the TIM gets absorbed. Also has a nice scent of oranges.would buy again (probably wouldnt need to :p)

Pros:Cleans. What more do you want? Comment: The only thing about this stuff is that it takes a while to completely wipe clean. I use cotton balls to clean my heatsinks with this stuff, and it takes a good 6-7 cotton balls for just the first "cleaning" solution. The second one is a lot quicker, though.It's important that you clean your thermal compound when you remove a heatsink, as you want to make sure the gaps are clean and properly filled.I need to buy more, I'm running out rather quickly.

Dissolves and cleans thermal paste effectively and smells good while doing it. Only gripe is that bottles run out quickly; I was doing some testing and the liquid was gone after using it like 10 times. Good buy. Cheap after price match.

Only thing is the bottles are a bit small. Overall good buy for getting rid of stock thermal grease

Pros:Great for cleaning your cpu and heatsink before to clear up any left over thermal paste or residue!!! Comment: I always used a little alcohol to clean my cpu and heatsink before applying thermal paste , this was before I learned that alcohol is really not good for your cpu as it will eat away at it after some time, as well it is not all that great to be breathing in while cleaning lol I used this cleaner and it worked great with a nice citrus smell no left over residue and very easy to apply using the drops =)

Pros:Like magic, thermal paste wipes awaySmells nice Comment: Comes in a plastic bag, nothing else.A few drops of bottle #1 and the old thermal paste can be wiped away after a minute.Bottle #2 will remove any left over residue. Works well and leaves CPUs and heatsinks shiny. Lots of fluid to do dozens of CPUs I bet.

Very effective solvent which is citrus based (akk orange clean). The purifier solution also works very well leaving no residue. Does not appear to be alcohol based which is good since alcohol can damage(corrode)the PCB etc.Your components are expensive - its worth the money to get this cleaning system to do it right!

Was a great test subject and this product works great. I'd rather spend the little extra $ for piece of mind , especially when dealing with a cherry-picked chip. Does it make a huuuge difference? Maybe not to some but to me for my piece of mind it does.( bad Iron Maiden reference there for those that didn't catch that..)I'LL DEFINITELY BUY THIS AGAIN WHEN NEEDED

So far have used to remove factory installed thermal tape/compound for aftermarket solutions on a CPU and video card.

Comment: This stuff cleans thermal paste that has been caked on for years! I used it to remove some Arctic Silver 5 on a Pentium 4 that was applied over 2 years ago. At the end of the cleaning, the processor and heatsink both looked brand new!
