great deal

Bought this for a rebuild I was doing. Installed easily. Did have to switch to an older CD-Rom I had instead of my fancier lite scribe drive to get the OS to install from the disk. Also be sure to run the driver disc that comes with the motherboard after you install the os or the ethernet and some other things wont work.

Easy install
Comment:
Had some trouble getting the operating system loaded. I think the problem was a bad memory card. It is loaded now and works well.

What hell... those tiny little things

seen it on the site and though it would be a slamin mother board... and it was... but im in the process of returning mine right now.. the power and reset pin are broken.. out the box.. needed some soldering i guess but i didnt break out the gun.. i figured i just return it.. if it comes back working then another more positive review would be done.. other than that be weary..

Easily installed. The only problem was that the CD would not installed the driveers. Had to use another computer to download the drivers and then install them individually.

Very Pleased

This is my first Biostar board, but have built many pcs in the past. Got this one for my kids to make an entry level gaming pc, and it has way exceeded my expectations. Excellent price, great quality. Only concern i had was that the printed documentation that comes with this mobo is minimal. have another pc on hand if you think you'll need to read the instruction manual on the enclosed cd.

Great if you get a working one
Comment:
I've purchased three of these for workstation builds but have returned two of them and one I will have to eat the price on having thrown away the box. So you could say I've bought six of them. When they work they are great. One was DOA and I suspect fried the memory. The second has an issue with the SATA ports. Initially installed fine, but gradually degraded to the point of IRQ blue screens so switched to IDE drive, but same issue. Biostar is edging into my do not purchase category.

This is my 2nd Biostar (the 1st one is still going and I've had it for 11 years) I bought this to replace a blown motherboard in a refurbished DELL computer, which I bought just a little over a year ago. I bought this motherboard bundled with a AMD Athlon II. System is pretty fast even though I didn't have money to upgrade my memory, I am still using the 2GB from the old Dell. Very satisfied, hope it lasts as long as my old Biostar!

Rock Solid Biostar As Usual
Comment:
Bought this as a budget upgrade for an Msi socket 939 that only lasted a year. Im a Biostar junkie anyway, but this was standard solid Biostar all the way- Dropped a 5000 Black cpu in it along with 4 gig of 800mhz ram and it even suprised me. I'm not a big Nvidia fan, but this one did much better than I expected. No More MSI EVER EVER- 4 died within 1 year, all different models and configs.

Do not buy this motherboard
Comment:
You will get an error the max power for cpu is over 95w, the system will shut down on boot. Out of six boards, three gave this notice. Stay away from this board.

Nice inexpensive board

This is the second Biostar (micro ATX) board I've owned. I used to use Asus boards only, but took a bet on this brand a few months ago. It turns out that both boards are working well for me. Pretty stable, getting quite a lot for just $50.
