I've tried allot of motherboards, ECS,Foxconn,ASUS Tech, and Biostar. This biostar board is the only one I could run dual monitors on. The NVIDIA graphics are awsome. I'm running an AMD 64 x2 2.6 Black Edition CPU, 3 gigs of OCZ Nvidia edition Ram @800 Mhz, and an IDE Harddrive. This set up is a screamer for less than 200 dollars. If your looking for a solid reliable motherboard but don't have the resources to spend outrageous amounts of money than this is the board for you.

Built the cheapest combo with this motherboard and the Sempron LE1100. Works great as a web & email system. Uses USB, SATA, Audio (4 spkr), PCIe x16, Ethernet, IDE, Dual-Channel Mem, WinXP Home -- all run well. Not using on-board VGA. http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-ms/mb/content.php?S_ID=370

Excellent motherboard, I highly recommend. Bought it in a barebone kit. Only complaint is the on-board graphics (go figure), just cant handle those high end games or even some mid-level games. Still got to run low settings. Audio is sweet on this motherboard.

I received this motherboard as a present with the barebone. I had some minor problems due to very little documentation and my first build. After finally discovering why my HD would not show (SATA was disabled), I got the OS installed and my wireless card and Internet up and running. Installed my wirelss keyboard, mouse and USB speaker in a rear USB port. All was well for a few hours and my rear USB ports quit working. Other than this I like the motherboard and hope the issue is an outdated drive error - I don't want remove it for an exchange.

Great board for the money. Bought with a barebones kit. As others have stated, the power connector to the mobo is in a horrible spot. I recommend attaching the mobo power cable after the cpu fan has been installed. I was able to install Mac OSX on it first try. Its my only successful attempt at getting OSX on a pc with no problems what so ever. Its pretty sweet!!

Solid board for the money. Some pros: 4 Sata connections, 3 additional usb 2.0 connections, excellent price, solid performance. Some cons: mobo power connector is in a bad spot relative to the cpu, the power cables have to bend around the cpu heatsink to reach; only 2 pci slots; only 2 dimm slots. The board I got will only POST when only one of the dimms is being used, it doesn't matter which, but it will not POST if both are being used. Apparently this happens on this board sometimes. I got this as part of a barebones that came with 2 1gig sticks, so it was a bit of a dissappointment to only be able to use 1. But I'm going to just buy a single 2gig stick rather than try to send it back. Otherwise its a solid board.

This is great a motherboard for the price it took me 1 hour to put the whole system together and upon running the graphic is not that great but for an onboard/shared mem GUP is good enough

All I can say this mobo works Great, got this in a Barebone kit and what a PIECE of cake to hook up. I never got an instrution manual like the one that came with this board, it was on a poster and I think ANYBODY that never put a barebone kit together before could do this one, if not you shouldn't try to walk and chew gum at the same time it is that EASY!!!!! Thanks Again Tiger

This motherboard is a lot of bang for your buck. I was actually not expecting it to perform as well as it does! I have an amd dual core 2.4 Ghz and an xfx 8600 xxx it is faster than lightning!

Excellent Board for the money.only a couple negative, no PCiE X1, and 1 IDE, but thats MicroATX. onboard Graphics acutally Run mass effect, and bioshock. PCiE 2.0 would be nice. My system is X2 4200, 2 gigs OCZ Rev 2, 8600GT XXX(Soon). 450 watt psu. OC Features in the BIOS are alright too, recomended for those on a budget.
