Honestly, I love the case. Its one downside is its impossible for me to move it great distances :P Way to heavy. There is tons of room to add your parts, plus another 200mm fan at the top, a 90mm on the vga holder, and a 120mm in the optical bays (if you want.)The thing is, the top comes off with 6 tabs that you press on to lift it up. They are sometimes awkward to get, but it doesn't take too long.

Merely wonderful. This case is extraordinary. I'll be honest, I didn't look at the dimensions when I bought it so I was really taken back when it arrived and I realized how huge it was. Nevertheless, the size is a plus, a Big plus. Much more than enough room for the over-sized cards like the GTX580 and a lot more room means greater airflow. I thought I would have to run liquid cooling but not in this factor! The four fans that come with the case are far more than enough to keep it cool for me. I have the i7-970 and the GTX580 and my temps are half of what I expected they'd be. Expandability in this monster is not a dilemma either. It's got room for whatever you need. Great features too like the air duct for video cooling, removable wheels, and effortless install drive bays. USB three. on the front is a nice feature as nicely. Would definitely obtain again plus, I showed this to my friend and he's acquiring one as nicely. Amazing CASE!! It's HEAVY. 32lbs empty and 50+ following the create. The only factor this case could use are some manage grips for moving it. So if you're a LAN party enthusiast, this might not be the case for you. My assistance, built it and leave it there. Other than that it's totally worth the dollars. None, pros and cons sum it up.

Everything is black or glows red, it's absolutely massive, tonnes of space, easy to keep cables looking neat, all and all a real joy to work with.I do have a couple gripes, one is that you cannot use the side fan duct in conjunction with the video card support bracket. The other is that installing the optional second 200mm fan in the top is more than a little tricky as the cabling up there is well insulated and it's rough to get the fan in there with the cables and the lip down. One other issue I encountered is that the VGA front duct is supplied to push air on to the cards, but the duct itself interferes with the power connector for the front hot swap bays. Those are the only problems I experienced and prevent me from rating it a five, they just seemed like issues I should not have to deal with but they can all be resolved with a little elbow grease and some minor cutting of plastic bits.Having said that through, the case is excellent, it's solid, it's otherwise very easy to assemble, it's better looking than the pictures give credit and is absolutely stunning when you have everything finished and tucked away.I am very happy with this case and I expect to be using it for quite some time.

I just got this case today. Took me ~3 hours to transplant computers, with some help from a friend (Technically my first "build") I have my i5 960 h 4.0ghz. It used to idle at 27. not it idles at 25. No idea how the extra space helped, but damn ill take it. The hardest part was figuring out the right screws to use. The COARSE threaded screws are for the PSU, while the FINE thread screws are for your mobo.I only have a GIGABYTE mAtx board in there, so there was like 15 inches to spare on all sides. was stupidly easy putting everything in.This is a great case. Overall, i'm really happy with the case, it has a lot of space for everything. I got a i7 2600k overclocked and i can cool it with only the case's fans and have great idle and load temperatures. Coolermaster did a very good job with this case.

This is the granddaddy of all cases. Some may not like its aesthetics but it is an amazing case to build in, and the cooling is top notch. Running a 2500k at 4.7GHZ and 1.375 Vcore at 33C Idle (Corsair A50 Cooler), and my video card (Gigabyte 6850) is running at 33C idle and doesn't get above 64C load on Furmark.Cabling is amazing, hard drive bays are so nice to use, it would be very difficult to go back to a normal case after this.

This is a great case for the price. It will accept everything you throw at it without any issue.Multiple hot & long video cards is no issue.Dissipate heat very easily.Installed a fan controller with temp probes and it looks great with the style.

A good case. Very spacious and plenty of room to work. Good cable management. A few extras, but I didn't use them. The wheels are great. A fully loaded full tower case is HEAVY. The wheels make it a breeze to move. Bottom vented power supply (fresh air instead of warm case air). The only problem I have with this case (minor problem) is the fan setup. Most of the fans (included and optional) are 200mm. While this allows for good airflow, it means that you HAVE to use Coolermaster fans for them to fit properly. The problem is, all of Coolermaster's 200mm fans are sleeve bearing. They'll wear out quicker than, say, ball bearing. Granted, you can get them for about $10, so it's not a big deal.

I love this case. It is monstrous and awesome. The cable management is super easy making great airflow with the huge fans you can put on it. I have 4 200mm Megaflows (2 exhaust, 2 intake) and a 140mm exhaust on the back. Being blue-themed this case looks awesome. As well as its great quality and general awesomeness, this case will last a long time through many builds.

You should not buy this if you plan to go on LAN often XD. However this is the best FULL TOWER case of my life. I equippend the vga duct with a yate loon 120mm and it's worth the 3.99$ more. Buy it now

My Pc build just came in 30 minutes ago and I'm writing this review while I wait for my OS to install. I must say, I knew this case would be large, but man.....this case is huge. Its a huge upgrade from my Xmod case. It looks great, awesome airflow,plenty of pre-installed fans, and I love the design. There is even a switch to turn off the fan led, which I appreciate for fan lights give me trouble when its time to sleep. I highly recommend this case.

I got this case after the Antec 900. The case is realy huge compare to the 900. It have some air filter, great fan, not loud.

I have no experience whatsoever with building a computer so I got my brother to help me after purchasing all the necessary parts. I was expecting it to be a long, difficult process, but my bro assured me it'd be a breeze, especially with this case.He was right. In the past all my PC's have been an absolute nightmare on the inside... but with this case, I don't think I could have made a mess of it if I had tried.Got this based on reviews from the product page and forums and if for any reason I felt the urge to build again, I'd definitely buy another.

This is a fantastic case. It is HUGE though, remember this is a full tower, so make sure you have a enough space to place it. Lots of room to work with. Amazing airflow. Tonnes of drive bays. Hotswap bays. USB 2.0, 3.0, eSATA, and Firewire front panel. Case fan LED power switch. Lots of room and designed for water cooling if you go that route. Solid steel and plastic design.Now for the nitpicks.It's not as easy as the Corsair cases to take apart, though very easy to work with still...Corsair has me spoiled with the easy push and remove spring locks.Hotswap bays are not tooless and require screws. Heck including even thumbscrews for this purpose would have been nice.Heavy, this cause is a beast, they include wheels to move it once it's assembled and I'd suggest you use them!Red LEDs, I dislike them, this is a personal preference. There is a blue LED version but it costs way more. Le sigh. I would have liked to have had the option for red or blue LEDs at the same price =).

This is my first CM case and i love it. I am using this with my asus p8p67 pro mobo and its a perfect match. Very well designed case. Its not that noise. I would highly recommend this case.

This is an awesome case - room to grow! In fact, the only thing I regret is not getting a board with more Sata connections . . . I used all 6 in my initial setup, and this case still has space!Only advice is to watch the vga duct cover. It's just a cover, but it is cheap and so I had a crack in one side when I received it. Not a big issue, but a suggestion to NCIX that it not just be shipped loose . . . I might ask about an RMA, but I don't want to shut my new baby down while I wait!

You can never run out of space with the Haf X (it was my motherboard that actually did). I'm running a GTX 460 SLI configuration in this, 3 hard drives, and a huge aftermarket cooler in this among some other stuff, so there's a lot of cables everywhere. They all fitted nicely into the backside.

I'm a big fan of the CM HAF cases. From 922, 932 to this 942.The build quality is very good, it has lots of space, you don't have to worry about any long video card issues.The inside is painted in black, plus the additional brackets, this case looks so cool!Only thing is the missing of internal USB 3.0 connector. It may not be useful today, but in a few months, more mobo will have that.

This case is amazing, airflow is wicked good mines stays bellow ambiant room temp by 2-3C, put in new fans with flashy lights. All my friends think it looks badass. Plus TONES of room inside to work

I have been planning to get this case for awhile its just a lot of things needed to be done before getting it and had been putting it off. (Build myself a new desk, Organize what use to be a very tidy setup). Im looking forward to the relaxing job of building this system, the case itself will be with me for a long time. The 230mm front fan, I will be swapping the LED's out for some Blue ones that I have from the last couple fans I changed over.

For $169.99 I am very happy with this case, the odd minor flaw is easily overlooked when considering how much value and functionality you get for that price. In many ways, the liberal use of plastic makes it easier to work with and keeps the weight within reason. Highly recommended if you need a well designed case that is this big.

The CoolerMaster HAF-X 942 is a gamers / overclockers dream. It is black inside and out and has great airflow and is suprisingly quiet for all the fans it has (230mm front, 200 mm side and top with 140 or 160mm on back). And you can add up to 3 more fans, the cable managment is alright, not as good as others like the new corsair but it still does a good job. You will never overheat in this case.
