Pros: Big and bad ! Lots of air and room. Easy to work with. Plenty of room to route cables if I could just come up with some patience. :) |

This thing is a monster! Massive airflow and the cable management is amazing. This was by far one of the easiest builds I have done in 15 years. If you need a big case with lots of air, this case is completely worth every cent! |

I just did a build with this case and here are my impressions: The finish on the inside is excellent except for one little spot on the very edge with some paint issues (it was bumpy) but it's barely noticeable. I like the pre-cut holes in the case for cable management and the case and its interior is massive so it's easy to work in. One issue I found was that I had to press quite hard to get the hard drive tray back into the cage once a harddrive was in the tray. In fact the first time I did this there was a very big bang when the thing dropped into place because I was pressing on it so hard... maybe I'm not doing it right? I'm not a huge fan of the external looks of the case, and it's pretty heavy so definitely not something I'd want to carry around a lot. Finally for the USB 3.0 front header connections you have to thread 2 USB cables from the front header to the back panel of your motherboard due to the fact that there are no standard internal motherboard connections for USB 3.0 yet. It's pretty clumsy and in the end I decided to just leave the two front headers unconnected. |

Prior to this all my builds had been using the Antec case, either 900/Nine Hundre two, or 1200. This case blows them away. I'm sitting here looking at the temps and they are about 10C cooler than the Antec case with same ambient temps. Easy to work insisde and cable management is fantastic |

-I think this is more of a revision to the HAF932 than a new case in itself. With that being said, I love the case. -Many people who build rigs will enjoy the ease with working in a case this size. Watch out that the power supply cables are long enough for the cpu power plug. Mine just barely got around the top.-It inlcudes rubber around the holes and psu cover which helps to give a cleaner look.-like the ability to blow air from the front or side of the video card.-I would've liked to have seen less drive bays at the bottom case to allow unrestricted air from the front fan. I mean really, who needs all that space at the top? If you're a gamer like I am, just reserve the space in front of the intake fan for airflow and move the drive bays higher. All anyone needs is two racks for an OS raid configuration, another two racks for storage raid, a rack for the dvd drive and maybe a rack for a media card reader. that's six racks and would easily fit in the top half of the case. |

Only comes with 2 200mm fans when you could use three, not everyone uses water cooling. five fans max can be installed, when at times you require more flow air.

This case has so much room making any install easy as pie. The case looks good, does what its supposed to and has tons of room for expanding. If your in the market for a really well built product that won't disappoint, this is one I would have to say is a good choice, and the price for what you get is excellent. |

I've just finished my build. In all fairness I just finished a build with the Corsair 800D yesterday so my expectations are really high. Lets start with some minor issues I have. First, when everything fired up, there is a slight hum. I believe it's coming from the side fan as it goes away if I disconnect it. It's very slight. Not enough to bother you if it's on the ground and you are on a chair. You have to be sitting next to it. Second, "I wish" CM would include 2.5" adapter for all the 3.5" bays. Given that SSD is now common I don't see the point in including only 1. Sure you can have a second unit in the 5.2" bay. But the plastic adapter is so simple I'm sure it's dirt cheap in bulk.Now, the good stuff. This case is an absolute dream if you are on a budget and cannot slurp $300 on a case. It's an absolute bargain at the $200 mark. The cable management is on par with the 800D. The beautiful texture and exterior design puts it above the 800D, but it's personal preferences. I can go on and on about all the positive features on this case. The bottom line is if you are considering the Corsair 800D, have a really good look at this case. You will not regret it. |

Pros: -Beautiful case-Very Sturdy-Lots of room to work-GREAT GREAT GREAT air flow-Black interior-Front Hot Swap bays-front USB 3.0-Room for 360 rad on top of the case (inside) if you want to water cool-Comes with wheels (strong even on carpeted floors)-Lots of room behind motherboard tray.-Tool-less drive bays-PSU cable management partition-MB tray cable management wholes-9 expansion slots-Nice Dust filters-Large opening on motherboard tray to install cpu back plate-Comes with accessories to cool and secure large graphics cards and the list goes on and on......Am I ever going to stop saying how many good features this case has!!LOL:) Comment:
This is my second case now and I have to say that I am very impressed.My first case was a Thermaltake armor plus and the HAF X has been a very good choice as a upgrade. My set up looks nice and clean.Im my opinion, Cooler Master fulfilled the gap where The Corsair Obisidian 800D failed which is AIR FLOW.I was about to buy the 800D but because of its bad air flow I decided to get this one. If you are leaned towards this kind of case design, the HAF X is the best case out there. I bought this as an upgrade to my Antec 900 along with an HX850 for a modular power supply. It was a disaster putting my Antec 900 together with virtually no cable management built into the case. The HAF X has SO much room behind the motherboard tray and many holes to wire cables through, it made my build look infinitely better. Installing my hard drives was amazingly simple as well. Compared to the Antec 900 were you had to remove the whole bay to install one drive, this was simple and very painless.I actually enjoyed rebuilding my computer with the HAF X, compared to the headache that was the Antec 900.Props to Coolermaster for an amazing case |
My first build and couldn't have bought a better case in my opinion. It's very sturdy and the casters that come with it have built-in locks on two of them making it very handy if you have your case on a hard floor. Looks good and works great !
