COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cons: Cheap included fansCPU backplate hole not big enough for EVGA motherboards

Pros: Easy cable managmentGreat airflowToolless design
Comment:
This case is great...simply great. You have a lot of for everything you might want to put in it. A Noctua NH-D14 fits in there very easily. The front USB 3.0 is also quite usefull. The toolless design for the HHD and the 5.25" bays is quite efficient. The only thing I didn't like about it were the fans that came with it...they are really cheap. Also, the backplate hole on the motherboard tray is not big enough for the EVGA motherboards. This means that to install a CPU backplate, you have to take off the motherboard. However, it works great with all other motherboard manufacturers.

COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cons: Dust filters and fans could be easier to access. Some of them you have to take the fans right off to access them. Annoying to plug in hard drives in lower section unless you have really long cables or open up the back panel.

Pros: 4 included fans. esata port, 2 usb2, 2 usb3, firewire mic and headset ports. Cleanable dust filters. 5 HD bays, 2 included hot swap bays, 4 external bays (all tool less). Front LED fan that can be turned off easily.
Comment:
I bought this for xmas but just got it 2 days ago. I didn't buy it here at NCIX due to crazy high shipping costs (40 bucks). NCIX had them beat for price, but taking shipping into account the other place had them beat by 20 bucks.Anyway on with the review, this is an amazing case even with the small annoyances mentioned above. All the included fans are nice and quiet, though the side fan vibrated a little till I backed off the screws a bit, then it was as quiet as the others. There is still room to put at least 1 or 2 more fans.Haven't tried them yet, but the included hot swap bays saves me from buying one or two that I was thinking about before hand.I love the fact I can turn off the LED light on the front fan (a selling point to me as I dislike lit cases).Tool less drive bays up top. Would be nice if the hot swap bays were also tool less, but I'm not going to be popping different drives in all the time so no real need for them to be tool less. Not really much else to say about the case. Its beefy and feels solid. Well worth the money specially if you can get it on sale with cheap shipping. I'd buy another one if I was building another computer.

Cons: 3 fans included, extra 2 are for you to addNot the best looking case

Pros: Very silentBlack interiorSpaciousGood cable managementIncluded wheels make the 14kg tank easy to move
Comment:
I bought this case for its "High AirFlow" design. I felt that my previous Logisys Black ATX tower case didnt have enough air flow to keep the temps low. My 4890 idled at 60c. I was hoping with this case would do that but the temps havent moved at all. My system is at the same temps as that $40 case. I hope during load the temps and lower.

COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cons: smaller power supplies will not reach motherboard without stretching, cable management harder

Pros: Very roomy, great air flow, lots of hard drive and CD drive slots, flashy LED lights, how swap drive capable
Comment:
You will never need another case again once you purchase the Haf X. It had more than enough room for motherboards bigger than X58 and allows for easy installation of all components. Be aware that this case is HUGE but due to that, it allows great airflow with all the fans and looks good with the red LED glow. Highly recommend.

COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cons: the hot swap bays aren't lined up 100% I had to fiddle with them a bit, but it might be just because its so new.

Pros: Solid construction, easy installation of parts, looks awesome,
Comment:
Well I must say this is the biggest case I have owned, it towers over my older cases and just looks awesome, the day it arrived I just loved the look on the couriers face when he was lugging this massive thing to my door lol. I think if your looking for a full tower case, especially for a 4 way sli mobo this is the case for you, lots of airflow and lots of room, the one thing I wish is that the nividia edition would have been out when I bought this, as I probably would have bought that one just to have the Nvidia green on the front. Other than that I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

This is one of the best case in the market. It got rave reviews around the Web. Installation was a breeze and Coolermaster has put a lot of efforts in designing this case. COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cons: non descriptive manual

Pros: large, airy, and stylish
Comment:
This case is THE case for anyone who is tired of cramped installations. The case is very large inside, especially with the cabling all being buried in the cable space behind the motherboard. 3.5 and 5.25 installations are a breeze to the point that they are probably not even considered installations anymore. The case comes with 4 large fans that offer great air flow, and has options for more fans if you desire, although I would have prefered more options for smaller fan installations. The case requires some exploration (not a problem as exploration is a natuaral impulse anyway) to discover all the features as the manual leaves much to desire.

COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cons: Only comes with one 200mm at the top

Pros: Airflow, filters, led on/off, wheels, 9 pci slots, cable cover, vga duct, cut-out, cable management (lots of space behin mobo), hot swap at the front, sliding cover for power/reset/leds
Comment:
Like I said, it only comes with a 200 at the top, but I just bought a megaflow red that I put on the window, and the fan that was on the window went to the other spot on the top. This case is totally amazing for airflow, lost at least 10 degree on my 5850 going from an azza solano 1000 (but got 2 deg on the cpu, because the solano fan is higher). Awesome case, was able to hide all my cable, recommended for anyone, even those with smaller builds!

COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cons: Dust filters in the 2 top exhaust fans and bottom PSU mesh area should be de-attachable and seperate from the case. It makes it 200% easier to clean/wash or vaccum the dust out! CoolerMaster should adpot a new side panel system instead of the old school thumb screws (which newer cases seeming to be evolving away from). also, CM needs to find a way to get a nice window to show all the insides without compromising air flow too badly. Wheels are also a brilliant idea but CM needs to include better wheels. Once loaded with components , some wheels dont spin very good and rather slide. I found this with the HAF 932 as well.

Pros: Awesome case! Durable paint, no lines on window, an somewhat extended window, side panel doors are MUCH lighter then the HAF 932, dust filters in ALL fan areas (including the bottom PSU mesh area EXLUDING rear exhaust 140mm fan which doesnt need one anyways), doors fit much better and smoother than HAF 932, nice black interior with the same durable paint, optional usb 3.0 in the front panel... if your computer supports it (2x free usb 3.0 cables if you don't want usb 3.0 at the front!), front panel wires are able to be disconnected for ease of cable management, de-attachable dust filters for ease of cleaning ONLY in front intake 230mm and bay covers (PSU and top exhaust filters will be hard/tricky to clean with hassle),front LED can be turned on or off and lastly....I don't know if this was done on purpose but adding fans to this case were much easier then the HAF 932. You can add a 140mm fan just behind the front bay covers with no tape or anything. Other fan additions are much easier.
Comment:
Awesome case, with just a FEW flaws as mentioned in the weaknesses. This case is similar to the HAF 932 but with much attention paid to small details. Also, instead of using the supplied VGA holder and cooler, I used my old antec spot cooler and screwed it in the slots where the VGA holder can go (up an down). (no screws will be big enough for holding the antec spot cooler down; Fix? Use the bronze/gold colored motherboard screw holders on the outside of the slot/case and screw in the antec spot cooler from the inside to the outside and into the bronze colored screw holder. This item was selected for installing the XL size MB: Gigabyte 890FXA-UD7 and because it's seem convenient for various water cooling set up.And, it is ! Space is not a concern here. It's steel frame allow easy drill and tap work to locate things where you want it. Apart for water cooling this thing is a great air cooled tower. I found no place where the wind doesn't blow... Also Great for over sized GPU of your choice. The supplied cards holders are ready for additional fans installation. As usual, I bought this just before a special rebate was applied, but I'm very happy with this case. It worth all the pennies of the regular price.

Cons: Backplate Hole Size/Position?Thumbscrews are tight.

Pros: EATX SpaceDurabilityCase FitIncluded FansWheels
Comment:
My first large tower case, and I'm very pleased. The case is very solidly constructed and all the pieces fit together well. There's no shimmying or struggling to get parts of it to fit together or pull apart. The included side fan has a vent on it by default. I had to remove the vent to get the side back on with my video card installed (Powercolor 5850). There were two other interior case pieces that came unattached to anything. I didn't look at where they were supposed to go and just left them out.Cable management is good. I didn't have difficulties tucking everything around the back, and the right side is shaped to accommodate stray cables without difficulty. The included fans are fairly quiet, and are very effective. I'm absolutely pleased with the system cooling performance. I installed a 1090T with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ 120mm. At about 21C ambient my CPU hits about 39C when playing games, and the motherboard goes up to about 28C. My last computer would routinely hit 68C on the CPU (Pentium D with a Hyper 212 92mm) in a cramped case with small fans.I made the mistake of installing the motherboard before installing the cooler backplate, and found out that the hole in the case wasn't quite in the right spot. I couldn't access part of the plate. This is with an ASUS 890GX.I think the backplate hole could be more generous without interfering with the integrity of the motherboard tray. Most of the case is put together with thumbscrews or screwless. I found I needed a screwdriver for most of the thumbscrews as they were fairly tight. The screwless portions (DVD drive and hard drives) work well and feel secure. The case comes with wheels that you can put on the bottom. I find this handy both because the case is quite large and heavy, and because my PSU vents down, so it helps to raise the case an extra inch or so off the ground.

Cons: a little too big

Pros: huge, sleek looking, easy to work with

awesome case, so easy to work in(wiring was a breeze, even for a first timer). Looks amazing I'm pro industrial looking electronics, set's them apart from prefab p.o.s.'s. one issue is that it take's up a lot of space and wiring to the top components can be tricky. As for cooling, i keep it in a small room and it seems to keep cooler than my last hp computer

Cons: Front on/off LED light stopped workingQuite bit

Pros: SolidLots of roomCan install wheels on the bottom
Comment:
The case seems pretty solid and of good quality. Lots of room to fit the slightly longer motherboards out there. Cable management is clean and easy with the case. Drives in the front are supposedly hot swappable, but I haven't tried that yet. I will tonight, but it looks promising. Overall, I'm satisfied with the case -- except the front LED light stopped working the other night. It doesn't bother me since I usually leave that off but it's still nice to have it operational.

COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1 Black Steel/ Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cons: VGA Duct dont support 5970 cardsBad paper filter on side fan (holes to large)No PSU dust filterTop only has support mount for dual rad with 4/8 screwsNo 120mm rad support

Pros: Big and BoldHot Swap baysXL-ATX SupportSide window design
Comment:
I got this case to support my XL-ATX mobo (Gigabyte 890FXA-UD7).The space is similar to the HAF 932, with the removal of the top PSU mount and added extra PCI slots.Cooling is fantastic, the side duct helps a little to direct air flow. The VGA Duct, is a nice touch, but dont work with 5970 length cards. Could have designed it similar to the ATCS 840.2x 200mm top fans (only 1 included) adds nice exhasut, plus gives you the option to use those fans as pull for WC.The top case has 4 screw mounts for a dual rad, which you can use triple rad. As for single 120mm rad, there no option to mount (compared to the 932).The Hot Swap bays are nice, but mounting is terrible and long. No quick solution. In all purpose, the HAF X is a nice step in the right direction. A few tweaks, and this case can be great.
