CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Comment:
Incredibly great at what it does. Keeps my i930 in the low 40's running at stock speeds. Small too big. With the Asus "Super Laptop or computer" Workstation class Motherboard P6T7, and Corsair Dominator RAM, had to not install 1 of the two fans. Nevertheless preforms quite well with just 1 fan and you may well check the CAFA50 which I think is the same Heatsink, but only comes with one fan.

Cons:-Huge-Loud

Pros:-Cools as expected-CPU dropped 20C on full load.-Resistors bring down noise to a tolerable level.
Comment:
Got this for $30 during a sale and it was well worth it. Brings down full load temp from 65C to 45C. G.Skill Ripjaws X do fit with less than 1cm clearance between fan and RAM heatsink.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:Too Big, take too much space. Can't put my ram fan anymore.

Pros:Powerful cooler. Works great. Awesome OC
Comment:
This Heatsink is very powerfull and big. But it's to big for me. on my Maximus IV I had to put one off the fans upper cause it's taking the place off the ram. In order to fit everything, I had to move up of about 1/2 a inch the right fan on the ram side so that everything fits.BUT, for overclocking it works perfectly even if one of the fans isn't at is perfect place. running i7 on 4.6 flawlessly.

Cons:Loud

Pros:Very effecient
Comment:
My Phenom 965 OCs to 4Ghz on it at a max of 45C on full load. I couldn't ask for more. Great value when on sale for $25.I manage such low temps when the fans are at 1600 rpm. I could drive them lower with the max rpm. But at max rpm the fans become very loud.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:This thing was a P.I.T.A. to install, getting it on is was not easy and then getting the two fans on for push pull config was very tight to say the least in an antec 300 case

Pros:Make no mistake this is a high end cooler that can exchange blows with the best coolers on the market, with direct contact copper heatpipes and dual fans this thing keeps my core temps low without producing alot of noise and without being to big in your case.
Comment:
Customer service finally came through.... with a complete new cooler (when I only asked for a replacement nut); too bad it took almost a month to resolve, but in the end I'm satisfied. With the heatsink fully secured, temp is 8-10C cooler compared to the Hyper212+ I was using before on an i5-2500K 4.5GHz OC. Idle temps in low 20s, max temp (after running Prime) for a couple hours in low 60s. I did not use the supplied TIM; used Arctic Cooling MX4 instead.

Cons:Heatsinks could be longer to provide more room for my RAMdifficult to add fans on after heatsink installationTemps still around 43-46C (not quite the improvement I was looking for)

Pros:Lots of air moving through heatsinkPush/PullBlack finishComes with thermal Compound

I had trouble fitting the cooler in. It took up so much room I could barely attach the second fan because my RAM was blocking it.

Comment:
This cooler genuinely amazed me at how cool it keeps the cpu. In benchmarks this is only about 2 degrees hotter than the Noctua NH-D14, but this cooler is way lower cost smaller and looks greater. This also has direct heat pipe design and actually big heat pipes so it keeps my amd 965 definitely cool no matter how tough i try overclocking Ɣ.2) this factor keeps it beneath 50c!!!! i would say that this cooler is fairly huge with the 2 fans installed. I have an Antec 902 case and this is a tight squeeze. also if you have tall Ram this my be an problem, i have the G.SKILL Ripjaws and they are average hight and they have quite little room above them. Because i have an the MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3 MoBo i had to mount it vertically rather of horizontally which isn't a dilemma for me in my case due to the fact i have that big fan on leading but for some men and women it could be. The directions are simple but i wouldn't say that it is simple to install because of its size but if you have a full tower i wouldn't say that it would be a challenge. Antec 902MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3amd 965G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB ƒ x 2GB) ddr3 1600i would 100% suggest this if you have a full tower otherwise stay alway yes i have a mid tower but i am acquiring a full tower so that is why i bought it.

Cons:Large for some older cases

Pros:Looks good and easy to install.
Comment:
I have an older Aopen case that it would not fit into so I bought the A50 which did fit. I put the A70 in an older full tower that I have which it just fit. I didn't find much of a difference between the two for cooling. Not sure if its the case or the coolers. They do run much cooler than the stock coolers that I replaced them with. I bought them on sale which was an added bonous. I do like Corasirs computer components. I never had a problem with them.

This keeps my 2500k (OC'd to 4.7 GHz) at a cool 35 normal and 60 under load. Cannot recommend this enough to my friends, it is just as good as other air coolers at a much lower price!

i bought this to test with 2 delta 120 mm fans now i just need to buy a newer processor (hopefully sandy bridge-e or bulldozewr, to try it out on. i really like the way it mounts to an am3 socket completely painless. tanks corsair for a great product.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:fans alone are loud, it is very big and blocks one of my memory slots ntm it makes working around cpu area very hard.

Pros:very good cooling and with resistors the fans are barely noticeable
Comment:
SO i bought this and i love it. My temps are cool and this thing pushes a massive amount of air. One of my gripes is that it blocks me from using one dimm slot with my current memory, mushkin ridgeback as the heat spreaders are a bit tall but well with reasonable limits i would have thought there'd be clearance. Trying to plug in cpu fan connector with this installed is a job in itself especially in the silverstone raven 2. This cooler is phenomenal but the dimensions could have been worked on a bit.

Comment:
-It does its job-Excellent airflow-Easy instalation-Not too loud for 2 120mm fans Its massive and tall. It in fact gets in the way of my two side raidmax case fans by about 1ǚth inch..soo I have to leave the back end side of the case unlatched. Not a massive challenge given that I don't move my case significantly

Cons:Huge, No variable speed fans, overlaps ram.

Pros:Works quite well, dual fans, nice aesthetics.
Comment:
I bought this on sale for $30, and I am not disappointed. One thing that bothered me is that I have an antec 900 and had to remove the side case fan and one of the clips on the side panel. For $30, I don't think there is much that could make me happier.

Cons:SizeFans not 4pin (PWM)

Pros:Comes with Dual Fans
Comment:
Got this on sale $30. Its might not be worth it when its on regular price. but for $30 its a great by.only major problem/concern is the clearance for ram heatsinks. due to the dual fans, they overlap the ram slots. If your ram heatsinks are larger than 4mm, they will come in contact with the fan. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-23-11 11:35 PM

Simple to install. Way less difficult than installing the stock intel heatsinks exactly where you feel like you are breaking your motherboard. I installed this on my Q8400 that i have had for quite some time. Temps down in game from 73C to 38C at stock 2.66GHz and I have full use of all ram slots. Some heatsinks that I debated on are not as forgiving with ram. (read "other thoughts" for additional temps and OC'ing information) none. The tempuratures I 1st recorded at two.66Ghz which is the stock clocking. I wish I would have tried Intel burn test to get FULLLOAD 100% on stock intel HS but I unfortunately did not. I project that it would have been about 84C if i did though. Getting that the game I applied for testing doesn't use 100% of the processor.stock intel HS IDLE : 35Cstock intel HS inGame : 73Ccorsair A70 IDLE : 35Ccorsair A70 inGame : 38Ccorsair A70 FULLLOAD 100% : 44CI decided to overclock now that my temperatures had been far more fitting. CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:Size, Not completely quiet

Pros:Price, Cooling, Appearance
Comment:
Although it is really quiet, and you can add resistors to the fans to slow them down and reduce noise, this cpu cooler is slightly loud but just a nice hum. It constantly goes on sale for $25 or so which makes it the best you will find for the price ever. It is great at cooling and the black fans look much better than Noctua's whatever colour those are.The cooler is pretty big so much sure it will fit in your case. Fits the 600T well.

Comment:
Good quality Cooler. Dual Fans, Direct Touch Piping, High CFM, all for a decent cost. It keeps my Phenom II 555 two core, four core unlocked IDLE at 28c, under LOAD at 32c. I docked one egg due to the AM3 compatibility. Yes, it comes with a snap on bracket to hold it to the OEM mounts... but it's really not sufficient for the size and weight of the heatsink itself. Add two fans, and it makes you think in the back of your mind, "Will it hold?." There are so quite a few better choices when it comes to stable, weight compensating adjustable brackets. CORSAIR: SEE COOLERMASTER! With the rebate, it was a wonderful buy. It's quite snug in my InWin Track Mid-Tower. I had to adjust the case's side-mount 220 to compensate for the sheer mass of this cooler.
