Cons:none

Pros:-easy install-like the whole blacked out look-does its job
Comment:
I bought this after my water cooling pump died on me...I decided not to replace the pump and switch back to air...I do miss my water temps but the A70 doesn't do a bad job.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:large and loud

Pros:Great cooling
Comment:
the cooler is really great, it dropped the idle temperature of my cpu by 12 degrees and the 100% load by more then 30 degrees. But the cooler is really big because of the two fans and loud because the fans have high rpms (it comes with a voltage reducer to make it quieter).overall by far the best air cooler for 30 bucks when its on sell

Every little thing. My i7-930 is stocked and idles @ 24-29 degrees Celcius (core temp). I will be overclocking soon. I had a stock Intel Core i7-930 cpu heatsink/fan. My motherboard failed (budget Jetway mobo, see Jetway JBI-600 evaluation). It was under warranty and they no longer carried the product so I got refunded and went with a Gigabyte X58 mobo instead. I decided, what the hell, I could as properly upgrade my CPU cooler as nicely. One of the best decisions I've made concerning my adore of my life err... my pc. I will be overclocking my personal computer soon to 3.8ghz. This Corsair cpu cooler not only cools my cpu but creates so much airflow in my pc with 2 120mm fans blowing inside of it that my GPU that utilised to idle at 36-39 degrees celcius is now idling at 26-29 degrees celcius. Enormous. DO NOT Acquire IF YOUR CASE IS Less THAN 7.five inches WIDE. My case is like 7.49 inches wide and I had perhaps .1 of an inch of space left.Although all it took was a little frequent sense to install, the dilemma with working with typical sense is that its not that widespread. With that mentioned, the directions were complete garbage. They have a far better installation guide on the Corsair internet site so if you are new at developing computers use their web page to aid install this effortless-install cooler. i7-930 @ 2.8ghzXFX Radeon HD 5850 (just purchased Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 on Newegg and sold 5850 on the 4 letter word internet site that begins with an "E" and ends with a "Bay" Newegg appears to censor so I will be installing soon)Rosewill Challenger Case - 1 rear 120mm fan, 1 side 120mm fan, 1 leading 140mm fan, 1 front 120mm fan1 TB Hitachi HDDOCZ 700W ModXStream PSU12GB Mushkin Enhanced 1333 RAMGigabyte GA-X58-USB3 moboLite-On DVD-RWCorsair CAFA70 CPU Cooler

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:None

Pros:Efficient coolingLooks good
Comment:
Using this with a 2500K and Gigabyte Z68X-UD4_B3. Installation was easy. Mounting kit very solid. The fans clip on to the cooler easily. The wiring harness to reduce fan speed to 1600 RPM is a good addition and keeps the noise to an acceptable level. This cooler keeps the temperature of my overclocked processor well under 75C during Prime 95 torture testing. The best thing was the $30 I paid for this during NCIX's last sale.

Cons:fans are somewhat loud

Pros:Easy to install.

Overall this is a good product when on sale but is never worth the full price. It gave a 5 degrees lower idle temperature but the fans are the loudest components in my case. They do get the job done though.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:45 minutes to install (fat fingers)

Pros:Cheap. Keeps my i5 2500k cool at 4.2ghz.
Comment:
It's cheap. It keeps my 2500k cool at 4.2 ghz. Idle temp is (core 0) 24oC. Highest temp (core 3) is 32oC at idle. Max temperature during prime95 testing was 56oC on core3.With the stock intel HSF I hit 91oC during prime95 within two to three minutes. Also, idle temperature was ~ 37oC.Get it. But make sure you have a wide case. I have an Antec300 and it fits nicely but with little room.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:-Included instructions are not very detailed-Fans can be quite loud (if not using the adapters)-It is huge

Pros:-Provides decent cooling-Easy to install-Sturdy-Includes everything you need (thermal paste, etc)
Comment:
Overall, I am quite happy with this cooler as it does it job quite well. This cooler provides a significant improvement in temperatures over my cooler. The instructions that came with the cooler was not very detailed so I had to search on the internet for more detailed instructions. I found that there was a blog on corsair's website that had better instructions so after following it, I had no problems installing the cooler. The cooler is quite big and can interfere with your RAM. Luckily, my RAM sticks were not that tall so I had no issues there.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:LARGE, instructions left out AM3 setup (was easy tho)

Pros:Apparently cold, Sturdy, Thermal Compound included
Comment:
Got this along with a bunch of mid-rage gaming guts on sale. Unfortunately,it had no adapters to sit in properly without blowing hot air onto the GPU. Also, because of the massive size, 2 RAM slots were blocked on the motherboardAM3 setup is super easy and it came with thermal compound so that was nice. I heard this was a good cooler and don't question Corsair's quality but I'm forced to trade this for a friend's motherboard :p

Cons:2nd (removable) fan will likely gen in the way of tall ram. Instructions are poor.

Pros:Good mounting system, much better performance than the stock cooler.

Great HSF, works as advertised on an i7-2600K/SonataII/AsusP8Z68 setup. (Though I had to remove the 2nd fan because of RAM clearance interference)

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:A lot noisier than Mugen Big Shuriken

Pros:Good coolingEasy to install on p8p67
Comment:
I originally ordered the Mugen Big Shuriken, but the unit I got was not powering up properly sometime. I had originally waited two weeks for it, to order it again would take another two weeks. So I swapped that for aCorsair A70.The CPU temperature is actually slightly higher with A70 than the Big Shuriken and the noise level is noticeably higher too. If I build another box, I would probably go with Mugen....

Cons:- a bit TOO big for my liking

Pros:- easy installation- not too loud- very sleek looking
Comment:
This is a very spiffy CPU cooler. It might get in the way of some of the taller ram sticks so make sure you do your research before buying. I mounted this is a 1155 socket and it works perfectly. For me it was either this or the H70, I went with this and I have no regrets.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:-BE CAREFUL, this heatsink is VERY BIG-Instructions from Corsair are a little bit lacking, but who cares? You are going to check Internet anyway for optimal way to apply thermal paste-The fan can cover the memory (I'm using it on a MSI p67a-g43. However, if your ram isn't tall (I have corsair), it should be fine (I'm able to use slot 1-2, even if below the fan. Just make sure the ram isn't tall).

Pros:-At 29.99$ on special, this is a really good purchase-Keep the computer cooled, even when Overclocked (OCed my I5-2500k to 4.5-Nice look-I've read some complain about noise. To be honest, I don't find it noisy. Its very fine-Unlike some heatsink, this comes with 2x 120mm fan! No need to get your own!
Comment:
I just installed the corsair A70 over the Intel stock fan (for my I5-2500k). I overclocked to 4.5 with no problem. This A70 is keeping my temperature at 60 degrees (vers 80+ on stock). Computer also idle very low.I can't give it a 5 because I haven't tested enough heatsink but this one met all my expectations. Also, when on special, this is a great purchase! Should I need a heatsink, should it be on special, I'll definately buy this one again. Some people claim the fans aren't good. I don't know about that, but my 4.5 I5-2500k is around 60 degrees on a torture test. This suggest the fans are doing a decent job.It is very big though and WILL NOT FIT in the AZZA Solano case. You have to remove the side fan, or you need to put the fan outside (a small mod!) I was aware of that though and still decided to go for this Corsair A70

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons:Fan noiseNo PWM fans

Pros:Great performance
Comment:
This is an awesome cooler. Keeps my i5-2500k (4.5Ghz) nice and cool (62C at max load). The fans are quite loud though and aren't PWM. You only get small cables to slow them down from 2000rpm to 1600rpm. I got the exact same temp at both fans speeds so using it at 1600rpm which gives me much more acceptable noise level.

CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler
Cons: Covers two RAM slotsA little loud when running at full RPM

Pros: Cooling potentialEase of install
Comment:
I just installed this heatsink on a Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4. It covers the first two RAM slots, but that was expected when I purchased it. It's cooling in phenomenal, it dropped my idle temperature on my Phenom X4 810 to 19 Celsius, and 31 under a Prime 95 torture test. This is at 1.4vcore as well. I have my setup running in a push-pull setup with another case fan above it exhausting everything out. It does not come with PWM fans, however some bios' will take care of that for you with a 3 pin fan, like mine.Overall the install was easy, the cooling is exceptional, I can't complain about this product at all and it will have a nice home in my next Dozer build. 5 Stars.

Cons: -It should come with a case badge-iffy LGA1155 support

Pros: -Performance and value-Comes with 2 fans and a Y adaptor-Bolt-through assembly
Comment:
Actually a very good HSF product from Corsair. Comes with everything you need except the LGA1155 needs special attention during mounting. It was not specifically design to support LGA1155 however it is compatible and will work.

Cons: Huge!

Pros: Cools well, Decent quality.
Comment:
I have a antec p182 case. Its a pretty huge case and this thing barely fits in it. My clearance between it and the outfan at the back of the case is so small its hard to measure. (Their almost touching). If you have a smaller case you might as well not bother. I replaced the stocked fans with better fans so I can't comment on the quality of the fans. I got it on sale and would buy it again. I'd only use it on a intel cpu though, the AMD ones aren't well designed.
