alright, so you hear a lot of complaints about this and I for the life of me don't understand.. I mean noise? that's the least of my problems, I always thought this thing looked cool inside my case and it's a nice change over the plain ooooh look at the top of my ram, if you have water cooling it blows air on to your ram and across the mobo keeping your parts a little less hot.and as for noise? I cut out the side panel of my antec 300 and made a window, I hear very little noise when i'm at desk top, if i'm not doing anything I turn down my fans and it's virtually silent, now when i'm gaming..... my ati 5770's I have, if they aren't running a fan speed of at least 65% they over heat quickly and my display drivers stop responding requiring a reboot, now when i'm gaming, I turn all my fans up and believe me this Dominator airflow fan is the least of your worries, my video cards sound like a couple jet engines ready to break the sound barrier, if you have plain ram, or some half decent ram you intend to over clock or just want the case to look a bit nicer inside pick one of these babies up, only $25 how could you go wrong, I have mind set up to my fan controller and it works so that's a plus right...also at %100 it's a low hum compared to my video card fans running at %50, I have to turn my video cards down to 35-40% before I even hear this or my case fans.

As stated in my headline, this cooling unit has worked very well for me. I purchased this almost 2 years ago when i was building a new machine for the release of Burning Crusade. I have had NO issues with it in that time. I am still running that old machine to this day and the fans still run as silent as ever. I am purchasing some new ones for the new pc i am currently building. If you ever have a need or desire to cool your ram... this is the product for you!

This array of 3 cooling fans which fit over a matched set of Corsair RAM cards came with the cards. After functioning well for about 6 months, one of the small cooling fans started making noise at start up. The noise goes away in about 8-10 minutes after this one fan warms up. I just bought a replacement fan set from Corsaid so I'll see how this set works out.

I'm giving this 3 stars so it gets posted without passing through the capable hands of the NCIX "product experience" gestapo. (Hey, Linus himself called it's fans "obnoxious") In reality I give it one star. Save your money because this thing is absolute trash. It was included with my Corsair Memory and they needn't have bothered. Why?1) It's extremely loud and doesn't provide all that much headroom in regard to cooling. Of course, that marginal quality Corsair RAM needed all the help it could get. (Sorry Corsair but I do love your Obsidian)2) Just about from day one this rubbish started to make funny noises like it was on the short path to self-destruction. Of course that just added to the cacophony of it's pathetically useless 40mm fans.THE BEST EXPERIENCE I had with this "RAM cooler" was when I ripped it out to clean up and get my old rig ready for sale. Now I'm kind of sorry I chucked it out. Why? I think I could have used the brackets on the end as parts for fabricating a real RAM cooler. Oh Well, I guess I'll go dig through the trash now and see if I can salvage those brackets.Stay away from this product unless you enjoy lots of noise with little to no performance benefits.

installed in my computer over Domintor RAM, it was just a little loose and liked to slide from side too side. Took it apon myself to bend the clamp plates in just a bit to fit tight over Ram and no longer Slide. It keeps my ram cool, while I game. I recommend this to anyone that desires to keep their Ram cooler. If it is loose and slides just bend the clamping plates in just a bit and it will fir nice and tight.

Overall, if you dont mind the noise, than its an okay Memory Cooler, but its a little noisy for my taste. Also, didnt fit with the colour of my build, but you can always take off the stickers. It didnt sit on my mobo well, just moved around a little bit, yet i tightened everything to max. 3/5 product!

It worked great for 9 months. Now the fan is realy noisy and it's driving me nuts. I now have to replace it. The bearings in them won't last.

Extremely easy installation, didn't even use directions! Looks great too! (buy the corsair memory too, it goes great together, plus there is no memory like corsair memory!)

installed two and a half years ago still running great. what i like most is it fits over two memory cards. I have it hooked to a fan controller so I never noticed any excess noise.

after only 3 weeks Just like others say. Its to bad it works great until the fans dry out and start screeming. take it off the market.

I bought 3 of these in the course of 1 year. One for myself and the others for friends and family. I have no worries of my Ram getting cooked with extended gamplay online or watching videos on my pc knowing the fans are working properly and keeping my ram cool. Install was easy and got it to work around my 9800 GTX plus video card which is over 12 inches long. Great product.

I really like this device. The only problem was, I had to rap the mounting leg with electrical tape because the leg was making contact with my upper video card. Other than that great product.

I purchased three sets of these memory coolers some time ago, and have only been able to use one of them in a 4 year old Dell. I have three other PC's all purchased within the last two years and these coolers cannot be installed in any of them. Either they simply will not fit, or there in so power supply for them on the motherboard. It works great in the one computer I don't really care about; I would love to install them in my main PC's.

I bought this to go over the ram but as it turns out the proc cooler hangs about 1 inch over the ram so it didnt fit so now its a north bridge cooler. It just so happens that the NB heatsink happens to be the same length as a ram slot. Bought it Feb 09.

After frying some ECC memory sticks in an ESX server this hot BC summer I decided to add some extra cooling. Installation is a breeze and since the system is in a dedicated "machine" room the extra noise does not hurt.Probably won't install it in my office desktop though.

This memory fan cooler won't fit with ocz memory its to tall. Make shure memory is short enough for the fan cooler to fit the mount.

Had this for almost a year now and still doing great. Ive read that some people on theirs makes a squeaking noise.. mine dont and are very quite and moves a great amount of air. Very pleased with It TY :D

Easy Setup and one fan is starting to get noisy. Purchased 1yr ago.

I say that because it is a good price but about one week after install it squeals like a stuck pig for a few minutes at a cold start up. Other than that it works fine and does the job. I haven't decided if it is annoying enough to tear apart the computer ans send back for a refund.

Mine is working great and quite. I think they should drop them down closer to the RAM modules themselves and make the mounting a little better. But you can bend them in manually to get the desired effect now. Overall good product.

i have 2 of them i got them about 6 mouths ago and then both makes a lot of nosie but not at 1stbut then steal work very well on keeping my ram realy cool

I have always been a fan of corsair but this fan is not at all worth the money. I bought it a month ago already one of the three fans stopped working and another one is about to go. I am also constantly have to adjust it so it doesn't make so much noise. big disappointment. hopefully the new one is better.
