Seems to work well
Comment:
One of the fans squeals for a minute or so on start-up but isn't too annoying. It's kind of a pain to install in tight spaces. Will be looking at something else when it fails or the fan becomes intolerable.

lousy cooling fan
Comment:
started making a noise first month i used it. It's very tall and had to change the direction of my cooling system to accommodate it. After 7-8 months my system would shut down or have problems booting until I disconnected the fan. The noises got progressively worse. Hopefully corsair will honor the lifetime warranty. Will keep you updated.

Great cooler
Comment:
I built two "power" machines using the Corsair XMS2 modules. Both are running 8GB or DDR2 with this cooler on top. This cooler does an effective job on both computers. My only issue is the stability of the mount on the memory retainer clips. A slight inward bend on both legs of the cooler and "poof" it stays where it's supposed to. If you plan on doing any overclocking (as I have done) this is a must. Even if you're not going to OC your system...this is a great item to have.

Not so quiet
Comment:
The fan seems to work great as far as cooling, but I have to take the cover off every time I start my computer and tap the center fan so that it stops squealing. Would recommend you find another fan.

Good RAM cooler
Comment:
Works great, runs quiet, not for all motherboards. Make sure you have a clearance of at least a half inch between the memory & video cards. For example, it doesn't fit in the Intel DP45SG with large video cards. Fits perfectly in my EVGA 790i Ultra SLI motherboard, PNY 1GB NVIDIA GTS 250 Video Card & Corsair XMS3 4GB 2x2GB DDR3 Memory (w/heat spreader).

Ok unit
Comment:
I just bought this unit not more than a couple of weeks and one of the fan motors started to making noise! It does it on startup and after a minute or two goes by it quiets down. Of course the next time I look for a cooling options it will not be this brand!

Noisy
Comment:
I've just unpluged the second one of these because the noise was really a problem. The first one of these fan sets was replaced under warranty for noisy bearings and this one is a little worse. I'll be looking for another brand. Another issue was the dimension between the fan assembly and the RAM DIMM. To clear the DIMMs with fins I had to mount the fan "blowing out" instead of on the DIMMs. This should not affect the bearing loading enough to cause failure in less than a week.

NOT GOOD
Comment:
Cools nicely, but is ill-engineered, touches my video card with the metal clips, can't use it.

Great RAM cooler
Comment:
Does a good job cooling 12 GB of RAM that is "jammed" into a very tight space - and does it without creating any noise!

Works great, installs easily
Comment:
Very effective cooling memory down. I also strongly suggest an appropriate double sided sticky tape from any local H/W store, to keep the grab on the motherboard's memory retainer clips from slipping, and also so you don't over-tighten the grab on the clips in an effort to keep them from slipping, and thereby accidentally break them. Fans run quietly and do what they are supposed to.

Great Product
Comment:
What can I say it is from Corsair and does exactly what it is suppose to do, don't know what kind of case Nathan put it in but I have no problems with air flow (Cooler Master HAF 932 Case) and sits nice and snug on my memory bank cooling down my 4 sticks of Corsair DDR3, guess it depends on if you have enough room for it and value your memory, would recommend it to anyone who is building a Mod Rig.

I blows air but....
Comment:
It works, blows air on the memory. A little unstable as mounting is not secure. It didn't really enhance any cooling, more got in the way of airflow through the case, which is why performance is 1 for me. So, I've removed it and placed it at the front to help with intake. Case is cooler by 5 degrees now.

A smart idea that works Only one thing i changed was to put a small bit of no slip foam pad where the unit holds the memory release cams

Excellent product!
Comment:
I bought this memory cooler with the hopes of reducing my memory's heat by a few degrees. I'm rather pleasantly surprised by how well this memory cooler works. Before the cooler I had temps of 42c no load and 68c full load, now it's 24c no load and 38c full load. All in all and excellent must have for your build, and especially if your going to overclock your system!

They work great
Comment:
I picked up one of these last year when I rebuilt my old pc. Keeps my RAM running cool. It's even better with the crucial ballistics LED lights blinking. Installing can be a bit of a pain in a micro ATX case but I think it's well worth it.

Great for non corsair memory too
Comment:
Used this with the Ultra fan controller box mostly because it has the 3 pin power connectors for it. Installed perfectly on a Dell 690 workstation running 16GB in 4 sticks of Micron ECC fully-buffered and hot memory. before fan the temps were 74-84C(very hot) after fan the hottest stick is around 61C. 23C drop is much more than I expected. Great product and very quiet.
