this cooler is really very good at what it does. it cooled my cpu down to 70 F and lower with my window open in the course of the winter. my CPU is now only affected by what my bedroom temp. is!this is contemplating i also have for cooling:three 200s NZXT1 140 NZXT5 200s Ɠ NZXT 2 for the H7o)and the respective gpu coolersall in a Phantom its big.... but if thats the value to pay for epic cooling ill deal with it. oddly adequate my cpu is slightly cooler than the bedroom it is in..... this is probably mainly because the elevation of my thermometers. my bedroom temp is on best my speaker and the rig is in the floor next to the window

No evaporation, no upkeep, no refillingOutstanding cooling efficiency beneath load even with fans turned down.Easy installation compared to other water cooling solutions. Loud if you turn the fans all the way up. I chosen this for my Sandy Bridge 2600K and I'm glad I did. Following having dealt with a custom water cooling loop that required refilling and at some point failed (tubing cooked and cracked, leaking all more than my GPU) this is a significantly much better answer. No evaporation indicates no want to refill and with a correct fan controller you can make it near silent while nonetheless maintaining the CPU beneath 50C beneath load. Impressive!

Very good cooler. My Phenom II X6 1090T ƔGhz ᤒx225 1.4v) runs at about 33C at idle, at times down in the 20's. At load, max temps I've seen with Prime 95 are 56C. The cooler has the energy to cool your overclock, but I assume it's design limits it when it comes to load temps. This is not a con, it's just the style limit. As somebody else currently mentioned, the supplied screws can bottom out into the radiator fins and trigger it to leak. I discovered out the hard way and had to RMA my very first a single. It's a very good cooler, but poor style on exactly where the screws attach. Be very cautious to make sure you do not more than tighten the screws. Corsair need to have designed it with a stopper for the screws. Overall this is a wonderful cooler. It does what it says, and does it nicely. I can't tell you about noise, due to the fact I'm not a single who worries about that. My machine has nearly 500 cfm of air flowing through it with quite cool temps, but I develop gaming monsters that last, not quiet wimpy tiny things. If you want a good liquid cooling remedy with no spending a ton, this is for you. It costs about the similar as some top rated finish air coolers, and performs as good or better, so don't hesitate.

The cpu cooler is down appropriate great. I over clock my AMD Black Edition six core, but this cooler keeps it below 45C all the time. No matter what amount of threads and load are thrown at it. Easy to install. A good entry level element to water cooling due to the fact it is all self contained. This does a superior job than my Blu Ord did at keeping the temps from going out of sight. Oh, and did I mention it is quiet. The size is one. You have to have a place to mount the radiator. No biggy. Just imagine a 120 fan with a finger on each ends and twice as thick. That is the radiator. The hoses/lines from the heat sink/pump. They can be too short or too extended depending on your thoughts for mounting the radiator. Most of the time the length is just suitable. The hoses/lines are a little stiff. This was my initial step towards water cooling, so take this with a grain of salt. If you are severe about keeping it cool and quiet with no a full blown water cooling setup, here is the ticket. It is worth every single penny. If you want more cooling than 1 fan can give, just screw on one more 120 fan. Oh, and did I mention it is quiet.

i7-960 clocked to 4ghz.core temps range in between 35-38 C at idle, ㆃ C on prime95. Stock fans are relatively loud. I complimented this with some IC Diamond thermal paste (ů @ micro-center). Manages to maintain my processor at a quite good temp. Take into consideration I have a dual CrossFire GPU which generates a lot more case heat, and I live in Atlanta so my room is hot as heck.

1st time making a pc, let alone a gaming pc, so this liquid cooling was all new to me. Watched a couple videos online showing how to install which helped but all in all extremely simple. Purchased some thermal compound but ended up going with what was included based on the analysis. Seems to be operating fantastic. CPU temps are ranging from 26.0C - 32.0C though seriously have not pushed it to the limit but. None truly. You do have to twist the lines a small but no big deal Be confident to follow instructions!!!

Affordable for a W/C technique, easy to install. It doesn't sing me to sleep? Keeps a 1090T @ four.2Ghz and 1.53v operating at 30c even with A number of programs operating. That's with an ambient room temp of about 27c. So, for the expense, I'm receiving close to ambient temp cooling, and I don't have to maintain it.

Straightforward to setup. Pretty considerably screw on the back plate and the plate around the CPU. Bolt on the fans and the radiator then plug it up. Installs in less than 10 minutes, unless you have 1 arm. Keeps my Phenom II x6 cool as ice. Running at about 30* C. I can play WoW, Require For Speed, Battlefield or any other game on ultra and it never gets above 40* C. Incredibly really and looks amazing A small big, make certain you have room. Simple installationCools better than hybrid Peltier/Heatpipe cooler Instructions are vague in some areas. This is my initial water cooling method. It operates significantly much better than what I expected. I would give one word of suggestions. I would replace the Corsair 120 mm fans with greater CFM fans and set the fans up to exhaust case air instead of the recommended intake set up for the fans. You might get a Ư degree difference in CPU temp, but I'd rather preserve my mobo cool by exhausting case heat. I saw the mobo temp drop by 3 degrees with an exhaust set up. The CH70 keeps my AMD X6 1090T at 88 degrees idle, and 92 degrees below load. Works for me!!

Excellent packaged way to maintain it cool! Ille in the 20's and in no way out of the 50's. AMD Phenom II 1100T 6 core OC's to three.8+. Rock solid and cool. Some assembly necessary. Don't use DHL last order took 7 days! (working) If you have a CPU hole in the case to get to the cpu mount then just do it! Use an LED fan that matches your case and put the low fan connectors on, lots of cooling and still quiet.

The item does what its says its suppose to- preserve your processor cold. Immediately after utilizing a Aquagate Max for the past two years I really can appreciate the clean uncomplicated upkeep, zero maintenance that is of it going forward with the H70. Finding a spot in your case to mount it was a discomfort. Having a Cosmos 1000 case and attempting to discover that appropriate spot was just a discomfort. Even though the original location was the preferred you maintain thinking that you can mount it on the top which doesn't truly work out. In the end I mounted it in the back as it was advised. Also mentioned by other people was the documentation and directions do need some series improvement.

Nicely it dropped my temps on a modestly OC i7 920 Ɠ.three up from two.6). Temps on my older cooler had been idle 39c - 42c with an ambient of 26c. After installing this with an ambient of 26c my temps dropped to 32c - 36c.My load temps under P95 had been 63c with an ambient of 27c with my old cooler. As soon as this was installed after about three hrs of burn in my P95 temps had been a steady 58c with a 28c ambient.Fairly easy to install. Only 1 con. I burnt my i7 920. And no it was not due to an improper install. It was due to the pump quit pumping. For the first three days it was not left on though away or in bed. following I was comfy with its cooling and it working I left the rig on 24ǝ. I had to go out of town for work for 2 days, when I got back it was still working.Went to bed that night and woke up to a loud groaning. got to my rig and it was off and would not come on. So to ID the problem I disassembled and swapped parts into one more system that was running.PSU - Check - Worked fine and for 269.00 didnt anticipate it not to.RAM - Check - All 12 GB no concerns under memtest.VGA - Check - Still going powerful.CPU - XXXXX - Burnt spot on the die hsCPU Cooler - XXXXX - Acrid smell and will not power. Pump went bad. Called Corsair and the are willing to RMA and send me a replacement which we all know is just a refurbed unit. HAHA Sorry I have to shell out a different 跌 for a new CPU thanks to this cooler and they want to give me a refurbed unit to use with it. Very good thing I was still in return time with the Egg. Newegg RMA is the only cause it got any eggs.I have in no way had to replace a cpu due to cooling. I feel I will wait and stick with the trusty Air Cooled HS till I decide to construct an additional real H2O system.

CPU is sitting about 23C idle, 40-45C under load. Down 20+ from making use of mid range tower heatsink cooler. Easy low-maintenance option to a full water cooling setup. As numerous have indicated, the short and fairly inflexible tubing can be problematic. I had to fully flip my airflow inside the tower to accomodate the advised setup with the H70 radiator as an intake.

I put this in an Corsaid 800D, leading mounted and not exhausting. It does well for an all in one close loop program, but I should say for the 贄 you could quickly acquire a Noctua or Meg and accomplish the identical factor on the 2600k. The stock fan it ships with are loud, I didn't even bother installing them, slapped on some Scythe S-Flex's, sound eliminated, nonetheless great cooling if not better just due to cfm. Great purchase if you need to have something quick, a superior water setup now days will expense 300-400, this is 贄.

Efficiently reduces the core temp of the processor as its supposed to. I was happy to see the massive fan go I had in there prior to. Rather large radiator, had a tough time figuring out where to place the Radiator in my DF-85 case. Ended up mounting it to the lower rear intake. Perhaps, some Illustrations on where to location the Radiator would assist make the installation a bit faster.

I can sound cool and say I have a water cooled rig. Temps no greater than air. ࿋ኈc even though browsing with my Phenom II X4 965 125w.)Have to take out mobo to install.Does not fit properly in a roomy mid tower. Must have full tower to fit correctly, specifically for two fan push/pull setup. Got it less expensive elsewhere and still paid too considerably.

It works terrific, it was uncomplicated to install. depending on the room temp i've observed idle temps at 23C, they had been 40C. Load temps are at 45-46C, they were at 62C. all in all about 20C drop everywhere. these dual 120mm fans push a ton of air. if you are utilized to a perfectly quiet rig, you could have issues with this cooler. it has a hum to it if you don't use the resistors to slow the fans down. i'm used to a little noise so it doesn't bother me. read the directions well. know where you are going to put the radiator so you know at what angle you are going to put the plate on the cpu, cause you have to rotate the plate just a bit. you don't want the tubes receiving twisted. make sure you don't tighten down the ring, leave it loose so the plate can fit under it. my case only has one exhaust port on the back so i have the fans pulling air out of the case instead of into the case. i have a lot of airflow into the case from front and side, and it still runs cool.

Cons:- Tubing is not very flexible.- Closed Ended Loop: Cannot add other devices to the loops.

Pros:- Great Cooling Performance- Push/Pull Configuration allows for use of two silent fans rather than a single strong one.- Easy to Install- Works on LGA1155 though not specified (well LGA 1156 coolers usually work on 1155).

I bought this as part of a whole new system for my cousin. I got to piece the whole thing together.Easily handles an Intel 2500K oc'ed to 4.5GHz. Not only that I replaced the fans with Enermax 900RPM Twister Silent fans in a rather small NZXT Cube case. Still keeps the CPU cool.Rather impressed with this product.

Let me begin by saying "Newegg U ROCK" Ordering, shipping and timely delivery was as often the finest in the company I feel. Thank you for your service. Now, The Great! I bought this unit because of it's little brother (Corsair Hydro H50) that I have running on yet another method for over a year now. I have been really pleased with it's performance for the duration of this time. This unit was purchased to replace an air cooler (Coolermaster V8 ver. 1) which worked good on my Phenom II x3 720 BLK ED. for close to a year and and half without a hiccup. The performance reviews and stats for the H70 are even far better than the H50 so, I was sold on this unit. I adore the truth that Cosair included the second 120mm fan with this unit. I am looking forward to great issues when I receive the replacement unit. Yes... H70 install Fail!!! See the cons listed below. My con is not fully on behalf of Corsair. With that being said, my issue began shortly immediately after install of the unit. This unit was component of a key overhaul/upgrade of my major PC. I installed the unit and proceeded to install my new memory and the fan assembly to cool the memory. Somewhere in that process it appears 1 of the hoses may well have been cut into on the edge of the fan assembly bracket causing water leakage. The leak was not located until following I attempted to start off up the PC ...oops! I have no Notion at this point how a lot harm has been caused by the leak but as for now it don't look great. I guess my issue with this unit is that I would like to see a tougher outer coating material if the hoses will leak if this outer skin is breached some how. It is evident that the water is not fully contained in the inner hoses. Having a metal spring coil around the inner hose and a quite thin material indicates watch out for sharp edges. Beware! I hope this material will be changed in the future. I enjoy this unit and would highly suggest it to other people to purchase. But!!! You need to be quite careful around sharp edges mainly because the outer material of this unit is incredibly unforgiving. I did take off 1 egg for this only because i couldn't take a 1ǘ of an egg. I genuinely can't blame Corsair totally for this mishap at all. I have purchased a different H70 to replace this one I feel that this says a lot about how i really feel about this unit and Corsair. Right after speaking with a Tech at Corsair i was instructed to RMA the unit to them. This was a painless procedure and all took location in 1 day, it's on it's way there now. Kudos to Corsair for their customer/tech services, I am a dedicated fan now LOL! I will post a update assessment when I get actual time performance stats from my actual use of the unit myself.
