Cons: Water Tubes could be longer or more flexable

Pros: Large Effeciant RadiatorFairly Easy installationGood Quality Construction

I bought this to add to an AZZA Hurrican 2000 Case. The H70 brought the Idle tempurate down on my AMD Athlon x4 635 by approx 10'C and it is very effecient underload. I has reduced my tempurature under 100% load from 45'C to 25'CAll in all a great Buy.

Great cooler, keeps my i5 760 at 27 deg idle, no higher than 45 at load. Be sure to use a fan controller to keep noise at a minimum.

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons: Larger than you think, fans on high have an odd 'Buzzing' quality

Pros: Good performance, easyish installation
Comment:
Bought this to replace the stock cooling on my i5 750. Installed into an Antec 300 case. Overall installation went well, but I did need to mount one fan outside of the case (cut out the fan grill) and rewire the fan through a rivet hole. Other than that my only complaint is that the hoses are very stiff.Stock: 64oCH70: 40oCUnder load, Prime95 running 4 threads, fans on high.

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons: BIGGGG AS HELLL, make sure you have a big case, i have a M-atx and i had to mount it to the front of my pc (there used to be a 140mm inside but removed and placed it in the front of my case (front of inside case).

Pros: I got this puppy to run a oc'd x6 1055t l about 4ghz. Running in the high 50's with prime95 with my Delta fan on (220 cfm) and about 65 with the default fans running l 3.6
Comment:
Other than the sever size of this monster is hug compared to the slim h50, the results are worth the size.

Cons: A bit bulky.

Pros: Quiet, cool, efficient, looks really slick
Comment:
This CPU cooler is great! For only twenty or thirty dollars more than a nice air cooler, you can have liquid cooling. I almost bought the H50, but then I read a review that said the H50 doesn't come with AM3 mounting hardware. That would have ruined the assembly for sure...

Cons: louddo not fit all cases

Pros: easy installationgood coolingfree up space around cpuquality nuilt
Comment:
This is my first water cooling device and I like it. Temps are pretty good and overclocking wa a breeze. Cooling is comparable to high end air cooling hardware. Installation was easy bu I recommend to look for a video on uTube. I just hope than Corsair will provide support for the upcoming sockets (Sandy Bridge).

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons: - fans are horrendously loud at max- large adjustment curve to get the best performance out of it

Pros: - great performance- easy installation
Comment:
- Installed it on my i5 760 and went against Corsair's recommendation of making the H70 blow inside the case. Overclocked to 3.8ghz with higher voltage than necessary. tIdle - 35c(highest core temp)/33(lowest core temp) and tLoad - 62c (highest core temp)/57(lowest core temp). Previous cooler (ultra 120 extreme) on 3.5ghz idled t 33-38c and load at 65c.- Was very impressed with the performance seeing as how I can safely OC to 4ghz but the noise from the fans were just unbearable. - Decided to use resistors on the fans and downclock back to 3.5ghz. I fiddled around with case air flow and this time went with Corsair's recommended fan orientation of blowing inside the case (I don't mind, my GTX 460 always runs cool. Some of you with hotter cards might not want to do this). My temps are now tIdle - 31c(highest core temp)/27(lowest core temp) and tLoad - 51c (highest core temp)/47(lowest core temp), and with much better acoustics this time. - I am now waiting on my Gentle Typhoons so I can OC to 4ghz, quietly. Few reviews for this cooler placed it behind the Noctua NH-D14. I would honestly sacrifice a few degrees over having a giant medal cube hanging over my motherboard.

So i had to remove fans and move some parts but hey, i've never done any of that stuff before and i've successfully installed it! My final thoughts are that it was definitly worth the effort! I love my new temps and i hope you will like yours too if you ever get one! Thumps up for that awsome cooler!

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons: hard to install, big radiator, loud fans

Pros: good cooling
Comment:
i suggest replacing the stock fans, they work fine but are loud and can get better performance with new fans. ALSO, when you install read instructions carefully, I had trouble installing the cpu block through the holder thing cause i screwed the holder in too tight, and it got a bit messy with the thermal paste :/

Pros: brought my temperature down in 30 degrees.
Comment:
This CPU cooling system is absolutely amazing. I was using a stock Intel cooler on my Q6600 for 3 years and my temperature was around 70c degrees while idling, and 95c on maximum load. After I installed this new one the temperature on idle is 35-40 and maximum load is 50-55 degrees. Now I can even try to overclock it a little. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons: Can expand on it by adding stuff like a second radiator

Pros: Easy to use, easy to install
Comment:
I didn't bother going for a full blown water cooler, because I really don't like the maintenance. This does the job fine for me and performance is about the same as a high end heat sink. However, this is considerably smaller and run fairly quiet. If I were to buy again however, I might opt for a used water cooling rig.

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons: -Doesn't cool as well as my Xigmatek dark knight cooler-Expensive-No Four pin fan connectors to adjust the speed of the fans

Pros: -Looks nice
Comment:
I got this to replace my Xigmatek dark knight thinking it would be a lot better but I was wrong.I was only getting about 2 or 3 degrees cooler than my dark knight cooler which I only paid 50 bucks at the time. Which is not worth it at all in my opinion. The fans are so loud, I don't know how people can put up with the noise. It would be awesome if the fans were 4 pins so you can adjust the speed. Lucky I had a throttle controller so I used that and it was a lot better but still no option to adjust the speed of the fans when your cpu is doing a lot of work.Overall if your upgrading from a stock cooler sure this would be a good option but to me any good air cooler is just as good as this.

CORSAIR Hydro H70 CWCH70 120mm High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons: Fans included with cooler may be a little louder than some would expect however the included resistors that lower the speed to 1600rpm make a big difference.

Pros: Amazing cooler, performed beyond my expectations
Comment:
This is a great first step for anyone who's interested in seeing how well a watercooled system will perform, My idle temps on an I7 920 at stock speeds are 32 degrees which is better than the stock intel heatsink and on par with a true-120 in a push/pull config. Now I just need to get some nice high static pressure fans for this and see how much better my temps get.

Comment:
Great PM on Sale price, Good performer / great coolingEasy to install, took about 8 minutes to install on my LGA 775 q6600, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo Mobo (granted i have a 800D so i didn’t need to disassemble to get at the back plate)I have my Q6600 OC'd to 3.4ghz and stress tested with prime95, max temp after 1 hour (100% load) 63*C on two cores 61*C on the other two. Using the resistors keeps the fan rpms down to a tolerable noise level, not silent but barely audible, max speed noise is atrocious.I have it set up in push pull exhausting out of the top 120mm fan slot, i reversed the rear exhaust as an intake for fresh air for the rad, all in all i like this cooler.

Just received my new Corsair H70 cooler series, i was a previous owner of the H50 and was pleased with it. I sold the H50 to instal my new H70. Did my first testing of the H70 and I'm certainly pleased with my change. They went cooled down 7 to 10 degres on my I7 930 at 4.2....So far I can say this is a very good product and that I'm very pleased.ThanksMichel Shaw This review was modfied by poster @ 08-13-10 05:46 PM
