Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:No mounting bracket.

Pros:EXTREMELY FAST.No problems since install [Approx. 30 Days]Appearance is actually quite appealing.
Comment:
The speeds on a 6.0GB SATA port are insane. I am seeing burst speed s of past 1.18GB/second!Normal reads typically build from about 95MB/sec to 195MB/s.If you have a new motherbaord that has SATA6.0GB, this is the speed-demon of a drive for you. Highly recommended.

Cons:none

Pros:Shockingly fast, awesome performance
Comment:
This is an amazing drive. There is just no contest when comparing it to a mechanical hard drive. Being 128GB, it is definitely big enough for your OS install, and all your programs. Of course, if you need room for game installs as well, you better go bigger. Otherwise, just use an HDD for games. I can't say enough good things about this drive. The speed will just bring new life to almost any system. Be sure to pick one of these puppies up. I highly recommend it.

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:No instructionsA 3.5 to 2.5 tray would be nice to be included

Pros:Great priceeasy installation
Comment:
Ordered as a boot and game drive. Does exactly that. My boot times in windows 8 are around 11 seconds and battle field loads in about 15 seconds. Had to use double sided tape to mount it to an old hard drive tray i had laying around. Not a big deal but it would be a nice thing to include.

I purchased one of these SSDs to put into my laptop to replace a 750GB WD Scorpio Blue. Windows 7 now boots under 20 seconds with an i7 2670QM. I would definitely purchase one of these again when the time comes.

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:Still pricey compared to platter HDDs.

Pros:Fast and great price point per performance.
Comment:
A friend of mine bought this drive a couple of weeks ago and had me install it for him and I have to say, it was easier than I thought it would be to set up and optimize. It's amazing how far a little research goes when you take the time to read up before trying to install something new for the first time. So far no issues and great performance.

Cons:firmware

Pros:fast, affordable
Comment:
really recommend this drive to anyone looking for a SSD setup. installed in my macbook pro and was running fine for a year. recently updated to mountain lion and had a bunch of kernal panics and thought it was mountain lion but it turned out that the firmware needed to be updated. a search online shows the firmware reliability seems to be average and you need to find which firmware would work you you. other then that small issue, fully recommend!

If you don't have an ssd, pick one of these up, put your windows on it and you will not regret it. This is probably one of my best purchases along with a mechanical keyboard.

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:Price

Pros:The best upgrade I could have done.
Comment:
I was skeptic about ssd performances. And after one month with this ssd, I could say without a doubt this is the best thing I could have done to boost computer performances.Maybe you would ask Why a crucial ssd while sandforce ssd are cheaper? Just because forums are full of horror stories sandforce reboot and problems. With a crucial, I was sure this ssd would be as stable as a rock. The only problems with ssd is they are very expensive and you must fine tune windows to minimize ssd premature wear.

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:Wish I had 4

Pros:-Fast-Quiet (obviously)-Small-Stays cool-Easy install, setup-Stable
Comment:
I've had this SSD for 7 months now, back then it was $149.99. I gotta say I get better results in my benchmarks then what's listed as max read/write, so that's awesome. I've reach 535Mb read and 275Mb write. It's easily the most stable SSD out there, at least at the time of purchase of definitely was, maybe a different story today, I'm not sure as Crucial SSD's are the only ones I have in my machine. I've had 2 OCZ Agility drives fail on me and crash countless of times. I can say now with 100% honesty I've never had 1 system crash with this drive.

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:- Doesn't come with bracket, had to use an extra from another SSD that I bought

Pros:- Fast- Easy to use- Works great- Good value
Comment:
Bought this because I wanted something reliable for my boyfriend's PC. It works great, transfers and boots fast and is so far so good. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't supply a bracket to install onto towers so I had to use an extra that I got somewhere else, otherwise it would've been another $5 purchase somewhere. But no complaints on its overall performance.

Cons:None that I can think of

Pros:Very fast, easy setup
Comment:
Plain and simple, I'm never going back to a 3.5" internal hard drive for a bootup drive ever again. The PC boots up (all ready to go) in less than 15 seconds. If I knew how fast these things were, I would have bought a bigger size so I could install more games to it.

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:Only 119gb of space

Pros:FastNot badly priced
Comment:
Will never go back to a magnetic hard disk. This thing is fast, pc boots in 45 seconds, desktop is available and loaded in 3 seconds. Windows experience rating went from 5.9 with a seagate 7200rpm to 7.8 with this ssd drive. I'm running a quad core and this drive rated higher than any of my other components. Did a speed test on the drive and it's transfer rates were over it's advertised ratings and i'm not even using a sata 3 capable motherboard. Not sure about long term reliability but crucial seems to be a quality manufacturer with a good track record of working firmware. Does not use sandforce which i avoided due to many issues with early ssd drives. If it continues to perform like it has been i would recommend this drive to anyone.

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:- No mount is included (Luckly my case has a mount and screws included)- No instructions

Pros:- Good Value- Great brand- SATA3- Decent Speeds- Has the latest firmware unlike the OCZ I had
Comment:
I did a fair bit of research seeing which SSD would be the best for me quality wise and value wise. I considered the OCZ Vertex but ended up going for the Crucial. I have had Crucial products in the past and they have been top quality.I have been impressed so far with the speed of this SSD. The speed difference between having Windows and Games on a normal Hard Drive compared to this SSD is crazy. My only complaint would be that it doesn't include a mounting bracket like some other SSD's do. It also doesn't include instructions. That wasn't an issue for me since my case included a SSD mounting bracket and I knew how to install an SSD. But this might be an issue for other people.
