not what the description stated, was a mitsumi manu per properties of unit and the driver cd. Kept hanging up, verrrrry slow at times, woud not read disc without error messages popping up and asking to format a perfectly good disc. Inconsistant performance from same disc read as some pics transferred ok and others hard to open and copy n paste would also not work properly with the problamatic ones. Disc was verified by another machine to be fine and not corrupted, only problew was the usb drive. It's going back and hoping for a replacement that is what I origionally ordered. Great customer service though from this site.

I NEEDED TO TRANFER PICTURES FROM A BUNCH OF 3.5 FLOPPY DISKS THIS DRIVE DID THE JOB. ALTHOUGH IT IS A BIT NOISY, BUT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FOR LESS THAN $20 BUCKS! I GAVE THIS ITEM A 4 STAR RATING ON PERFORMANCE BECAUSE OF THE NOISE.

My new desktop came without a 3.5inch floppy drive. I had a lot of older data on floppies and needed access. This drive more than satisfied that requirement. The speed with which the order was processed and the product delivered was AMAZING, arriving within THREE (3) days from date of order when I didn't expect it for over a week!
