Looks good Does not fit all ATI Radeon cards like the specifications state. IF this issue fit, I would most likely have a various opinion altogether. However, Evercool's false advertising led me astray and this factor is not compatible with an MSI RX1950PRO-T2D256E.

Bought 1 of these years ago for my old DFI LP UT nF4 Ultra-D, due to the fact the stock chipset fan was terribly noisy, and didn't work all too nicely. The board lastly stopped operating...I built myself a new pc and let this sit around a whilst. Turns out, developing a low-cost method for a friend, he got an 8400gs that idled at about 80-90c...I grabbed this to see if it fits, and friggen sweet, it does! The temperatures on the card now don't exceed 60c! It was a "spare element" that positive proved itself helpful! The LED's Nevertheless get on my nerves. Also absolutely not the quietest fan in the case...not noisy, but fairly noticeable. I'll undoubtedly keep this in mind. Who knows, perhaps i'll buy a few more if the want arises. Surely advised if you know it'll fit.

Keeps the GPU cool. If you have a XT era card that requirements cooling, this is ideal. Possibly won't be adequate for right now's newest cards.

weighty, solid feel of copper. Cools better than stock at lower sound levels. Has a dim blue and dim red led on it. Pretty loud if left at 100% fan speed IMO. Not precisely a "push pin" system. I have a n680i, and at 50% fan settings, my northbridge is 46C and my southbridge is 50C idle. It fits nicely below a 8800gts g92. I'm truly surprised that the southbridge is hotter than the northbridge.

My DFI LP UT CFX3200 DR/G,that I'd purchased from NewEgg, was in desperate need of a chipset cooler/fan that would fit. This one particular is solid copper, and has been operating now considering that before Thanksgiving 2007. Runs cooler and quieter than the OEM version. NewEgg just now e-mailed me that this item was back in stock. I required it months ago or my mainboard/pc would have been useless. Had to obtain from another source; is my only con, due to the fact I necessary it when I needed it and not four months later. Purchased three from SVC considering that so tough to get at that time. Sorry, NewEgg, snooze and shed. BE cautious installing, as the spring bar with posts is pretty powerful. Install 1 post initial, press down gently on middle of fan hub, then although holding press remaining post by way of mainboard. Nice lookin if you care about that.Sterdy and great copper high quality.Cool (Chipset went down about five degrees celcius) and quiet. Absolutely nothing twords the fan but I place this on my motherboard and obtaining the old a single off and new one on took a few hours since I had to take out the mobo. Put on a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D to replace my noisy stock fan fit nicely. Cant say anything about the extended term for this fan appropriate now but im at present happy i place in the effort.

I put it on a Nvidia GeForce FX5500 fit excellent. The video card went in Dell 4550. Bigger heatsink than orginal, the base is thicker copper. None Price was awesome, thought I had to obtain a different video but this saved me.

Functions really effectively. Perfectly silent at 5000 RPM. With some elbow grease and 4 twist ties I managed to strap this guy securely to my Geforce 9800. Not compatible with Geforce 9800 Like an idiot I read the comments in the evaluations saying it worked for the 9800 as in it worked for the Nvidia 9800. As well late did I comprehend that they meant the ATI 9800.

cheap, copper, quiet, operates! ummmm...... didn't like the red LED (all my other lights are blue) fit my 680i perfectly. i necessary a cooler for my south bridge so i could water cool my north bridge. this was just what i needed.i "disabled" the LEDs by cutting one particular of them off the PCB. both stopped working, but the fan still worked fine.

Replaced aluminum stock cooler for my ATI Radeon 9800 PRO. I had originally thought the card went negative on me due to my screen obtaining blocky. With this cooler the card functions like a champ again and doesn't get anywhere near as hot as it used to. I in fact burned myself on the old heatsink. none Comes with thermal paste in a tube not thermal adhesive. Just clarifying for those asking yourself. The flashy colors are nice except my case doesn't have a window so I can't see it.

Had an old NVIDIA 5700LE that I shelved right after the fan started a high pitched whining episode, the fan snapped right in and no issues with the fit. Quiet, runs cool and upgraded my daughter’s Pc for a wonderful value. Not a actual con but the energy supply is three pin versus the old cards fan, a two pin. I was glad an adapter came with the fan. I was concerned with the fit, did not want to mess around with modifying a fan but it was perfect.

Functions good. Not as heavy as I believed it would be. Comes with all the stuff to place it in and hook it all up. Great addition to my new VGA SPARKLE SF8834DT256MB FX5200 RT card. Quite and Powerful. None so far. Really didn't want the lights on it my case is totally closed so you don't see the lights. If you are getting this for the lights just to let you know it has blue and red LED lighting. The two colors blend with each other when it is operating and it ends up becoming a Purplish light. Fan is a great match to the VGA SPARKLE SF8834DT256MB FX5200 RT card. Just had to take of the heatsinks that the card came with and put on the Fan. Snap, Bang, Pow!

price taghigh qualityquiet none so far fits my old DFI lanparty Ultra-D NF4 motherboard chipset for the now ancient 939 platform. . its slightly larger than the stock 1 and it could be a smidge shorter. luckily the fan has space to spin. no space for error with a hd4870 or bigger card but it kept the dream alive for this program.

Little, Quiet, gets the job performed None however I purchased this for the MCP on my 780i motherboard. The stock heatpipe cooler was letting the MCP sit at about 70°C at idle and often creep up to the 80s. I put a Viper waterblock for the NB and SPP(single block covering each pieces), some ramsinks on the FETs, and one particular of these tiny guys on the MCP. I had to trim a handful of of the fins so it wouldn't touch my vid auto, but temps are now a continuous 35°C

Incredibly quiet. None Replaced a loud fan and annoying fan on a 6600GT. New fan is a whisper. Cut a hole on the side of my Shuttle and now blowing the air straight out which tends to make it even quieter. This is a excellent solution for a new fan and at Ű it's hard to beat.

This HSF fits the DFI Laparty Ultra-D Nforce 4 chipset extremely well. I originally installed this on my motherboard a few years ago but the fan went poor. Just had to order yet another to replace it. Functions considerably superior than the original chipset cooler and the lights look cool.

Copper Heatsink,Additional than enough Thermal paste, useful for a second fitment. Hope it had a four pin connector. Great for controlling fan speed. But other individuals in this range do not have so no point becoming unrealistic. Matters not to me, but it has a LED light in case this catches the fancy of some.

My original Heatpipe and fan died on my 680i mobo. This tiny puppy dropped my MCP Temps from 92C to 45C. Messa very content with acquire and speedy delivery with Newegg. NB is operating a Thermaltake CL-C0034. Both are verrry verrry quiet at 100% speed. Red cylon LED? None really.
