Coming from DDR2. um ya soo None, so far. Just had to set the default frequency in the BIOS on a Asus Sabertooth x58, sets to 1066 in auto. Gets a 7.8 WEI if your into that.

My mobo recognized them as 1066, I thought, no sweat I'll set the timings myself. Only problem is that my computer system would crash continually when running this memory at the suitable settings. I eventually gave in and tuned them back down to 1066. Yay for downclocking... I purchased 6GB a year or so ago, bought one more 6 not too long ago. Works just fine and I'm pretty confident that, if there are any issues, G.Skill will be a pleasure to deal with. It doesn't install itself. Beyond that, I have no complaints.

rapid trustworthy and oh so affordable when compaired to other brands. plus if you have a red/black theme it goes really nice, plus they look so friggin great!! great wealthy red/possibly maroon and its clossy coating makes them stand out when you appear at your mobo, through a side window or on a bench, its bound to be noticed. good performance, and honestly, best ram i have ever installed, and were detected right away, no rma!! none what so ever. ram has gotten truly heavy from ddr2 to ddr3, this was a excellent replacement to my old ddr2, patriot gseries 2x2gb sticks, i replaced my old asus p5n-t deluxe mobo with the rampage iii formula board, [it would randomly lock up when i was brosing the web, even soon after reinstalling windows, and tweaking my bois. and i havent had an situation given that, id recommend this to anyone who require 6 gigs for a fantastic price.

Effortless to install, compatible with asus x58 sabertooth QVL, on initial boot ram freq. read @ 1033MHz, went into XMP mode and upon subsequent boot ram was @ 1600MHz no issue None that I can consider of dimm 1 is close to my aftermarket heatsink, probably less then 10mm between the two.

Price, Neweggs delivery. Pulled this quantity out of the QVL of my Asus X58 board. Set was uncomplicated. Set the dram and timming. It fired appropriate up. None what so ever. Pulled back a small on this 1. Really a few posters had complications getting this to post. I had the same RAM in it but 1333MHz . Timming was set at eight-eight-8-8-20. I left it and set the Dram to 1600. No difficulties or faults.
