Decent Value Set to DDR1600 and have 8gb installed. Occasionally my computer boots up with only 4gb and sometimes 8gb. Often my pc has difficulty booting up mainly because of these rams. Utilized one of these packages on my i7 build and it has never ever let me down in properly over a year now. I am now thinking about speeding up my memory intense CAD application and am taking into consideration basically adding one more set of these. Following all, why fight success? My old program had four gigs of 800 speed DDR2 from G-Skill and is nonetheless operating like a champ. Soon after having this for a month, it has been solid, even below a moderate to heavy load.

On the QVL for the X58 Sabertooth. Just alter it to XMP and you are carried out. Flawless install with Vista 64 loaded in 14 minutes. Works nicely with Asus Sabertooth x58. Runs at advertised speeds and then some. Receives a 7.8 on Windows Encounter Index operating at 1600 and a 7.9 over-clocked to 1660. Cost was reduced appropriate after I bought it. I have 12 gigs installed on the Asus Sabertooth x58. I have it over-clocked (albeit slightly) to 1660. Ran Memtest86 for 4 hours with out any errors.Don\'t forget to manually set the speed in the BIOS. Speed is defaulted to 1066. Either set the memory profile to X.M.P. or manually set the DDR speed.

It works as advertised. I have a set on my ASUS x58 Sabertooth motherboard, and I set the Bios to 1600 and presto. WEI of 7.8. none except now the price is ษ less costly than what I paid. I OC'ed my i7-950 to three.6GHz which brought these to operating at 1664 which now brings the WEI to 7.9 on these.

A wonderful item from G.Skill. I have been obtaining AData but I thought I would try these on a recommendation from a friend. Speed is sufficient for some OC fun and it worked out of the box in the P6X58D-E board. Too pretty to put in almost. Thanks GSkill. Hope they maintain kicking for years to come.

Rapidly and stable at stock voltagesHas some room to OC None I was able to tighten up timings to 8-8-8-24 1600 even at stock voltages and was able to OC a bit at higher voltages. Will absolutely be purchasing yet another 6GB pack genuine soon.

Cheap. RAM suffers from cold boot problem. Google it. Random BSOD when starting your pc up for the 1st time. Later on, sometimes it will work, sometimes not. I've had to reinstall windows 50 times thanks to this RAM!! Memory fails memtest86+ usually from a cold boot, otherwise passes with no difficulties.. I employed to trust GSKILL, not anymore!! Really superior memory, Works superior, Fits well in a full tower case. Only downside, I didint relize this was for Intel only, I mean it works in AMD but in order to get it to run at 1600 I had to change the timeings in my bios otherwise it just BSOD's a little into windows. I run an AMD Athlon II x2 250 6000+ Socket AM3 with a Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H and a Evga 9800 GTX+ 512mb and with this memory definently increased my performance fairly a bit. none It appears the "NEW" "exact" identical part number for this memory doesn't mean anything. The new set I recieved has a XMP JEDEC extention setting of "XMP-1600" which the original set did not have and only 1 JEDEC match's anything in the original set. This in all probability means I got shafted on the original set whilst they got rid of the old ones. I suggest they add a (-X) to the new component number. But "HEY" what do I know... Since of non matching memory I can only get 1066 out of their "matched" portion numbers. I can't wait till they tell me I should have bought "matched" 6ቨ GB set's originally... I bought this ram for a game build with an ASUS P6X58D-E. Have not had any problems yet but I have been reading that putting this ram in all the banks, it fails I hope it doesn't I am very hesitant on buying a second set now.
