G.SKILL F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 Triple Channel Memory Kit
Cons:none at all
Pros:BEST DDR3 YOU CAN BUY!!! Comment:
man this is awesome ram. Hows about almost 1800MHz with ease? at 1.64olts at 9-9-9-25 timings? Want tighter timings? don't be stupid, i7's perform way better with faster ram, and loose timings. Man this was easy, I overclocked my i7 920 to 4GB and overclocked my DDR3 to 1800Mhz THEN I installed Vista. Easy as pie, oh and temps are around 72 or so with a Noctura, so not bad. Don't believe me about the Ram speed and timings? good, look at these reviews and see they got the same speed as me, and saw better performance with loose timings:http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/14059-g-skill-6gb-pc3-12800-triple-channel-ddr3-kit-review-9.htmlhttp://www.guru3d.com/article/g-skill-ddr3-pc312800-triple-channel-memory-review/10don't run this ram at only 1600Mhz! it's a waste (like running a ferrari in 1st gear only). It overclocks like crazy, up to over 1900Mhz now with 11-10-10-28 timings!but at a fairly high 1.8v on the ramdon't be worried about volts, overclockers are running ram at 2.0v+ for 24/7 on these i7's This review was modfied by poster @ 03-05-09 01:51 PM |

G.SKILL F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 Triple Channel Memory Kit
Cons:nothing wrong with the product and its price point
Pros:runs at proper 1.5v and motherboard detects the profile correctly as well for the Timings and the 1600Mhz Comment:
runs at proper 1.5v and motherboard detects the profile correctly as well for the Timings and the 1600Mhz. Once again G.Skill have come out with a good product at a great price. I know there is one kit up from this as well if you are looking for tighter timings. |

Cons:None
Pros:Cheap (relatively)VERY Stable Comment:
Nothing but good things to say about this set of RAM. This part was I feel the best pick out of my entire i7 build. Anyone planning an i7 build should get this RAM. In fact, while you're at it, get 2 sets! |

G.SKILL F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 Triple Channel Memory Kit
Cons:*Couldn't run at advertised speed and timing.*Relatively expensive for its quality and customer service.
Pros:*Nothing is good about this RAM. Comment:
I am quite disappointed with this POS. I should have spent a little more money on OCZ or Corsairs for their customer support and superior product. If I could redo it again, I would not buy this again. Not recommended. |

G.SKILL F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 Triple Channel Memory Kit
Cons:its not an overclocker kit
Pros:Cheapest triple channel for core i7 920 Comment:
I put my core i7 920 at 4ghz and put these up to 1603Mhz (nearest divider). Wow. Everest bench 18,500 MBPS on read write and copy. Pure sick. My old computer (e6600 q 3.5ghz with gskill) comes in at 7000 mbps. Sick difference. GTA IV q 120 FPS on high w/ gtx 280 (sli not supported yet).woooo |
