comes with a sticker. and it's RAM, does what its supposed to. had to adjust BIOS before it was recognized as 1600 vs 1333, but that was MOBO, not the memory

Functions at advertised speed with minor bios tweak. Ran memtest86 for 24 hours -- no errors. Purchased 2 sets of these for two separate, identical builds. Both sets work completely. None so far. I began off with 4gb ƒX2) and about a month later purchased 4gb far more. This RAM runs great and the Gskill technical division is fantastic. I had errors and had to return the initially 2 sticks but the RMA procedure was painless. It expense me just about twice as a lot when I bought mine. The BIOS had to be tweaked a bit to get it to run at it's rated speed but no large deal. Runs strong and Memtest shows no errors.

simple to install i got this in a asus m4a79xtd evo board and it wont run @ 1600,set to 1333 ran but i had random bsod and lockups. passed mem test and windows memory diagnostic. then i set to 1066 with 7,7,7,21 2t timings, now im running really stable windows wei is @ 7.5 the same as 1333. buyers be conscious that amd processors will only handle 1333 with out some advanced bios settings but i couldnt get this to run @ 1600 or 1333 im still content its operating wonderful while slower than 1600. this replaced some junk ozc obsidion ram that has been a nightmare to configure they wont give me a refund following three rmas and its effectively previous new eggs 30 day policy. just wanted to inform men and women to steer clear of ocz their receiving out of the memory small business. Ran fine for a month or so. BSODs started immediately after a month, MemTest86+ stated one particular of the two sticks had 11 million errors in a 12 hour run. RMA'd it to G.Ability given that I was previous the newegg window.I'd also like to say that I am NOT delighted with G.Ability's client service. I sent them an email asking the status on my RMA and they asked for my tracking number (the postal 1, I supplied the RMA quantity in the original email). I then replied with the tracking number and a total copy/paste of the confirmation e mail I recieved from USPS.I didn't recieve a response for a few days, so I sent an additional e-mail with the tracking quantity. At some point, they sent me an email saying that they had shipped it, but I essentially received that e mail the day of it's arrival . All in all it took about three and a half weeks for the complete RMA procedure. Would be nice if Good quality RAM makers must MemTest all of their sticks for 24 hours prior to selling the item.Initial knowledge with G.Skill, and I'm giving up on them if I get one more dud in the subsequent couple occasions I buy from them. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe apologize for the inconvenience. All G.Skill RMAs are processed quickly. As soon as we receive it, it takes 1-3 days for processing, then the rest is shipping back to you. Regrettably, we do not hold track of every single step. There is no want to worry or wonder status. If you do not acquire your RMA within two weeks immediately after we obtain it, then get in touch with us for specifics. There is no will need to speak to us to see if we received it, and if it is being processed. As far as testing, all G.Skill modules are tested before shipping, but we can not control handling soon after it leaves the factory.Thank youGSKILL HelpGood quality and client service are our top rated priorities.Tech Support E mail: ustech@gskillusa.comRMA Dept E-mail: rma@gskillusa.comG.Ability Forum: http://www.gskill.us/forum/

Economical, and worked out of the box with no difficulties. Was not certain if this was on the vendor qvl when I ordered, but this memory is very versatile so I took a opportunity. When I got the mobo it was on the qvl in the manual. None - works properly. I am going to acquire a different set of these. I would recommend to a buddy or family members member.

It does what it's supposed to do. I put it in my motherboard and it booted into Windows. Carried out deal. The 'Ripjaws" on the top of the memory stick, while they appear "cool", interfere with my heat sink in DIMM slot 1 of the motherboard.
