The memory runs rapidly, it was a bit of a pain in the begining but after updating my bios it worked fine. I havent overclocked it nevertheless. I honestly cant believe of any cons other than if only it was less costly when I purchased it. lol.

Operate precisely like claimed, place them in my pc, booted it up. Bios showed 4gigs and i was great to go. Definitly recommend these, quickly, inexpensive, backed by a name brand sticks. Their red....not blue like my case...but no genuinely their amazing. Im not very knowledgeable on the complete ins and outs of ram but after seeing the specs and value, this ram definitly caught my eye. But what truly produced it a no-brainer for me had been the a lot of responses from G.Skill reps here on the feedback paged. The cost is fantastic, specs function wonders for my new create and the reassurance that if one thing occurs to these new sticks, G.Skill stands behind its item created it an awesome buy, id obtain these once again.

Seemed like a reasonable price tag for a affordable product. Be cautious! Attempt to use this memory in my GigaByte motherboard fully 'bricked' it. Now GigaByte won't replace board - almost certainly wants just a re-flash of the BIOS, and I am STUCK with a useless pc.Mobo had been a 'daily driver' ahead of try to use this memory. You are forewarned! Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerWe are sorry to hear you had problems with the memory. If the memory is installed appropriately, it will either operate, or not. 1600 speeds, good compatibility, in a position to be OC. Arrived day immediately after order, which is extremely quick. My motherboard didn't auto adjust to 1600 speeds, but that's most most likely lead to my mobo is an old model. Such minor cons that are more personal than product's effectiveness. Shiny red cover. My blue side fan led causes the red ram heat spreaders to reflect light.

Decent set. Worked wonderful for 6 months. Paid twice this for it, as well. 1 stick went negative immediately after 6 months of use. BSOD, etc. memtest86 and windows memory test confirmed. No biggie, lifetime warranty, ideal? read on RMA was issued no issue. Directions stated:"Put the RAM in a box, don't use padded envelope, send it secure mail"Did all that to the tune of eight bucks in postage. What did I get back? A stick of RAM in a padded envelope sent very first class inexpensive-post....Thanks G.Skill, I hope the stick works now. Manufacturer Response:.Dear BuyerWe are sorry to hear a module went bad. The RMA replacement ought to work much greater. Please let us know where you got those directions. According to our web site and the RMA procedures we email you, a padded envelope is acceptable, but NOT a typical letter envelope. The crucial is to make sure the memory is not physically damaged in the course of shipping; if it is, the sender or shipping courier will be responsible. The lowest priced technique of shipping an RMA is USPS Initially Class w/ Delivery Confirmation. It need to expense roughly Ŭ. My mistake that I did not also examine Mushkin website for compatibility as this memory is configured to run at 1.85v-1.95v and is not intended to be employed with Core i processors. Shame on ASUS! I manually forced the settings to make it operate, but was under no circumstances totally satisfied. Ran Memtest on each stick of G.Ability and no errors detected. Ran it once more with all 4 sticks to be positive...once more all very good. Fired up the box...set memory settings to XMP in the Bios...and wala!!! DDR-1600 timing and runs like a leading.
