Cons:Watch for CPU fan clearance.

Pros:Very reliable.

Excellent ram, it's just the cooling edges cannot be removed unlike Corsair, so make sure one knows the clearance height of CPU fan.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:None discovered

Pros:Rock solid, no nonsense performanceReliable and economical.
Comment:
I like to 'value' overclock (no voltage changes, stock cooling, minimal increase in power dissipation) my systems, and the 1600Mhz parts are perfect for an i3 or i5.With BCLK at its stock 133Mhz the embedded memory controller gives you a 1333 QPI memory speed. Bump BCLK up to 160 Mhz and it matches this RAM perfectly. A 20% boost achieved at no extra cost in under a minute. You can leave everything else in the BIOS as it was, retaining all the normal power saving features when you aren't running your system hard.

I've bought this ram to use in a new sandy bridge system. It will be used mostly for internet purpose. The ram is good enough for this kind of use and is very stable.I also have the option to add in a second set of this ram should the computer happen to be used in a more serious way. This is a good quality/price ram.I've also mostly seen good reviews on G.Skill ram in the past few month.

Cons:They are somewhat tall with the heatsink which may cause it interfere with aftermarket CPU coolers on some motherboards.

Pros:Fast, looks nice, and overclocks well.Large capacity.
Comment:
These work so well I bought a second set. They are fully compatible and work great. They come well packaged and the bright red heatsink was mystifying to my 4 month old son. They also look great in my case.I would recommend these sticks for anyone with an AM3 Phenom X6 as they are compatible and speedy.

Pick up one set of this RAM for my first build... not much to say - they work fine, haven't given me any trouble so far, and I don't suspect that they will.Have them on an ASUS P7H55m-Pro motherboard (the Asus compatibility list has this model number listed, but has it listed as a 2x1GB set, last I checked - a typo, I assume). In any case they are compatible, because my build is up and running just fine.

Installed this in an ASUS M4A88TD-M AM3 system along with a 640 Quad core processor. It works great at the spec'd speed and timings. This is a general use computer so nothing is running out of spec. This ram is perfect for this application. It's a bargain at the present price.
