Ultra 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory I got this as part of a barebones kit... I did test it and no problems, but I purchased 2x2048MB DDR2 800MHz to use instead. Memory arrived fully intact and experienced no issues, I just needed slightly faster.

Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Motherboard The board appaarently works fast and is of quality. The problem is that it is supposed to be Windows 7 Compliant, and it is not. I believe it is or will be recalled due to serious problems with the onboard video. It is a shame as it is a fine board and deserves better rating. However, it is my opinion that any board produced today should have at its main goal the Window 7 OS. This is not just the furture, it is here.

Ultra 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory I had a problem similar to another reviewer: one of the two modules was defective. It took a lot of effort and frustration for me to figure this out, while attempting to install Windows 7. The replacement process is very cumbersome. I has to purchace a new module to shorten the delay caused by the replacement system. As much as I purchase from this company, i could not do a direct replacement. This has caused me to rethink where I do my major purchases from. The replacement worked fine with no problems

Western Digital WD5000AAKS Caviar Blue Hard Drive I bought the first drive to replace my old 80gb hdd. After 3 weeks it stopped working after I ran the WD Lifeguard thing and saw it had bad sectors. So I bought another one dec. 12th. Sure enough exactly Jan 12th it froze and started to act up so I ran the Lifeguard tool again and poof what do ya know, more bad sectors. Dont buy this drive! Good thing is I have 2 cool looking paper weights.

Apex SK-503 Black Mid-T Case Simple design. 300W PSU? I need more! Side panel is a PLUS. You can install 2 - 120mm case fans to suck huge air. You can also put 2 - 90mm in the back and front. Connectors for the front usb, front audio, power button, reset button, power led, hdd led are short. Very thin shell.
