This product worked for a new xp build, worked flawless just a hint, use the cd ONLY to let windows look for a driver, do not install their software, wireless zero config works as a service not a program therefore works faster... once i had it set properly it connected every time before i could even use the mouse, great product for the price

I did a lot of research before purchasing a wireless adapter and I was kind of hesitant to go with this one. I'm glad I finally decided to give this cheapo a try. You could pay $40 or $50 if you wanted to, but why when this adapter works very well. It comes with a regular 4 inch antenna that screws into the back. That is all I use and the adapter and router are 2 rooms apart. I get 3 bars for the signal strength but I still get a Full 10Mbps on the speed tests. I have WEP security and it connects no problem. I'm very happy with the new card. I bought it for my son's computer so we wouldn't have to run a cable through the house. He gets full bars (granted at a short distance, we haven't tried it from more than 30 feet) but overall exactly what we wanted! And you really can't beat the price for a solid product like this!

This thing is awesome! it comes with an extension to mount on any metal. I put it in the basement and it gave me an advantage of one extra bar over my old PCI wireless card. So far it browses the web at a much faster speed and I love it. I just need to buy a cone for it now to extent its range even further. Great buy!

You get what you pay for I guess. $20.00 is a good price, but this wireless card is junk. It doesn't come with the ralink chipset like the picture shows by the way. my router is literally 20 feet away, with one wall between, and i get a 40-50% connection. My laptop wireless card shows 100% in the same location. I have since bought one of those USB wireless adapters, and without an external antennae, and I get 100% connection. I am returning this to your company.

Wireless card works great. Gets outstanding signal. Comes packaged with a nice larger antenna. Excellent value for the money! Two notes: Had to download new drivers from the manufacturer website to get it working with Windows XP -- drivers on the CD did not work out of the box for me. Supposedly does not support WPA (but I haven't tried).

The price was low, and it included the separate free standing antenna. I chose it because the separate antenna allows much better access to the WiFi hub than with the normal antenna attached directly to the card and buried down behind the desktop case. It was easy to set up, and works well. Using it with XP. Fast reliable delivery from them as per usual.

Bought this card for an old Dell Optiplex system I fixed up for my 72 year old grandfather who wants to learn to use the internet. He dose not have the internet but lives across the road from my uncle who dose. The signal was excellent,(7dbi) not only could I pick up my uncles network I also picked up 5 others, one of which I know is well over 500feet away. The software that it came with works great (On XP). The software let me add more than one automatic network connection so if my uncles goes down it will just piggy back off a different network without my grandfather even knowing it.

I bought this because my Linksys adapter quit working for some reason. I installed the adapter, the software and followed on screen instructions and it went on line without a hitch. I'm very satisfied, if I ever need another one, I'll get it here. Buddy

Performance is just a little slow compared to the card I replaced. However for the price you can't beat this wireless network adapter. It works great.

had to manually assign IP address, gateway and DNS servers but everything I've installed in this cranky old XP Dell has given me fits at first.

I am a small business owner and have had my internet go down a few times so installed this so I could hook into the wireless signal of the shop next door if needed. It works great and was simple to install and solved my problem all for $20.00 bucks! I wish all my business issues were that easy to fix.

just got a new gaming comp along with this adapter, my room is on the other side of the house, so distance about 10 meters to the router. for windows7, go to their wbsite and download the latest driver, works! good for everyday use, 3 bars 60% signal strength, but once i start playing some online games, huge lag and delay, disconnects every 5mins. so im returning the product and goin to spend the 30bux on 15 meters of ethernet cable

At first my DVD Drive wouldn't recognize the disc. No ideas why. Tried to download the driver from the site, but the (best I could tell from the box model number) number I used was a modem driver and did not help. All was OK after the disc showed up in the drive the next day. Installing was superfast and easy; the interface was excellent; fast; and easy; the connection is great!

I've ordered 5 or 6 of these units and they have all worked splendidly. Just don't have windows install them (except possibly windows 7) With the installation disk the performance is AOK! Quick up and running, and never a problem. Can't ask for more than that!
