automatic installation with windows 7. good price. but my signal are good but difficult to go to excellent reception. i use a usb sabrent wiifi key and my signal is always excellent. congig: windows 7 and wpa2 security.

I recently moved my home office PC to a location where wired cabling is very impractical. Initially I bought this inexpensive adapter to get me by until I figured out a permanent solution. It's been in place now for two weeks. The drivers work flawlessly with Windows XP Pro and it never fails to load. I now have no plans to change it out and would buy another without hesitation. One tiny thing that's no big deal is I wished the extension cable for the antenna would have been a foot or so longer. Still fantastic for the price.

I got this as other reviews said it worked with W7. The drivers included on the CD are not for W7. With the correct drivers my connection is unstable, needs to be reset and has a packet loss of 5-20%! Router firmware has been updated too!

I already had a WEP setup in my house used by multiple PCs. I installed this in a dual-boot system, Ubuntu 9.10 and Vista. Ubuntu had no problems and it came right up once the key was entered. The system is one-wall away from the router (Netgear WGT 624) but Ubuntu indicates a very low signal level but have not seen any degraded performance. After many attempts, I could not get it to work with WEP on Vista. I finally gave up and set the router and all my systems to WPA which worked.

Bought 2 of these and have no complaints 1 is only about 30 feet from router with 100% signal strength. The other 1 is in a house on the 2nd floor and router is in the basesment and it also has 100% signal strength. for 20 bucks you can't go wrong.

Great bang for your buck, easy installation and ease of use. Love the extended antenna which keeps my sinal at excellent continually. The user interface is simple and effective as well. If you need a wireless adapter this is the one.

I use this company whenever I find that they have the lowest price on a product. They had the best price on this one and on the wireless keyboard I bought at the same time, which was really convenient. The order arrived quickly. The product was easy to install and worked just like it was supposed to. I used to extension wire to boost the signal right away so I do not know if the short antenna works well or not. But the extension wire and magnetic antenna works perfectly.

I was nervous to buy a cheap wireless card, but since my PC may only last another year or so I figured I'd give this a shot. This has got to be the best deal for a wireless G PCI card. I've had it for a month now and have had no problems, unlike my old linksys usb card which would act up from time to time. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable wireless card for their PC.

This PCI card is a easy install, and the drivers were built in with vista basic. I used the optional external antenna to attempt to gain more strength, however I was only able to get one more bar (4 bars out of 5).

Bought this adapter to upgrade my mom's dinosaur. It's probably 40 feet from the router on the same floor and it gets pretty good signal strength. Could be better, but could be much worse. The two different antennas are an added bonus (she's using the wired one). Not too sure what the difference is between them, but I didn't do too much manual reading either. All in all, its a good product at a great value.

I thought the antennae would allow me to use its placement to maximize the WiFi reception. It does do so but the short cord length somewhat limits your options for placement. I would raise an alert that the antennae has a magnetic mount so I would beware setting it anywhere near magnetic media. Hiro was very good about working with me to locate a Windows 7 driver package. Seems well worth the money. I'm not disappointed.

I was able to pick up networks I had no idea existed in my neighborhood until I purchased and installed this wireless card! Good reception and range. Not as slow as I thought it would be either. Ideal for home computers and those who don't do a lot of downloading or in a hurry. Worth the price for the speed.
