Cons:-stock cooling
Pros:-very fast and great overclocker-will handle any game i throw at it Comment:
Great chip for the gamer. runs nice and its always the quality you expect from intel. didnt really like their move to thermal paste to seperate the actual CPU and the IHS. fixed that myself |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-Relatively expensive-Poor heat dissipation while overclocking
Pros:-Overclockable-Great performance Comment:
I got this for $210 and because I wanted to overclock it(haven't had time to do so, beyond pressing the OC Genie II button on my MSI Z77A-GD65 motherboard). All the programs I use run without any hitches. It is relatively expensive, but to be expected given that AMD has no offerings presently that would challenge Intel and force them to be cost competitive.During extensive research on OCing an Ivy Bridge CPU, this generation is temperature limited on how high you can overclock it due to the cheap Thermal Interface Material(TIM) that Intel opted for inside its Integrated Heat Spreader(IHS). This was also a change from the fluxless solder technique used in Sandy Bridge, which overclocked very well. See the following link for details.http://www.techpowerup.com/165882/TIM-is-Behind-Ivy-Bridge-Temperatures-After-All.htmlI hope AMD does well in the near future(a seeming pipe dream at the moment) and puts pressure on Intel to prevent possible deliberate crippling of performance in order to force you to buy a more expensive CPU for performance that meets your needs in a lower priced product. |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-n/a
Pros:-fast-no heating issues-unlockable-free thermal paste Comment:
Bought this cpu when it was bundled up with the azrock z77 extreme 4, but I was already set on buying this from the start. Certain people might need an i7, but for most gamers who don't need that extra power can save some money while having the power to run their games. I have yet to have any issues playing games such as Starcraft 2 even before ocing. |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None.
Pros:Very Fast CPU. Great for Gaming. Comment:
I really like this CPU, it's fast and affordable. It competes with the i7-3770k in gaming. Gaming on this CPU is just great, I have yet to run into any CPU bottlenecks. I cannot recommend this CPU enough. I have yet to overclock this CPU, but I plan on in the future. Load temps are very acceptable (about 60-65 degrees while being cooled by a CM Hyper 212 EVO.) |

Hits the sweet spot between speed and cost. Easily the best value at this time until the i7 series drops in price. Can't beat the pricing, service and delivery from NCIX. |

Cons:A little hot when overclocked.. but it's too be expected.
Pros:REALLY FAST!Relatively good price. Comment:
Got this around a month ago upgrading from an older CPU. Works really well and overclocking it is a breeze. Turbo boost is a good feature and makes it damn fast, even without overclocking. Currently running stable y4.2GHz and it is a monster at games! |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None.
Pros:Easy install, Fan was prepasted, Works nicely. Comment:
It's a nice processor I don't have any problems with it. It was an easy install and the fan was already thermal pasted. I might upgrade to hyper-threading sometime but this is a smooth start. The only thing was the fan started making a lot of noise while I was getting the PC to work but it somehow fixed itself. |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Gets hot, real hot due to TIM between chip and IHS instead of flux less solder,it hinders over-clockability but not by much.
Pros:Fast quad coreUnlockedVery easy to overclock Comment:
Bought it with a Asrock z77 extreme6, running a water loop with aquadx120mm rad. Under water i can get it to 4.7 1.264v with temps topping out at 85 degrees C while running Intel burn test. |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Generates more heatLower OC limits due to heatNot worth the upgrade for current (previous gen) i5 'k' series users
Pros:Latest GenerationLow power chipBetter performance Comment:
I owned an i5-2500k, but turned out to be defective. Needed a quick replacement and opted for this as it was cheaper than the 2500k with the sale.At stock, temps are definitely higher than previous gen chip. With the 2500k and cooler/push fan, temps at idle were 20-25 Celcius and 50-60 Celcius full load. The 3570k pushed it 5-10 degrees higher than what my i5 was doing. Even with the 3570k using lower voltage.Definitely no room to OC for anyone using a stock cooler and an after market cooler is a must. Will be updating my cooler fan to push/pull config because of the higher heat generated from the if 3570k. Otherwise, it's not a bad chip. |

not much more to be said, best CPU performance for the dollar. Intel could have spent an extra penny and slodered the IHS on but hey, still runs in spec. |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-No hyperthreading
Pros:-Great overclocking ability Comment:
Bought this to anchor my new build after upgrading from a Q9550-based system. I'm sure that in extreme gaming it stands up far better than the old Core2, but in everyday applications I havn't noticed the 'night and day' difference that so many reviewers seem to experience. Perhaps with more demanding applications or with more time spent tinkering and overclocking, but in the meantime... |
Overclocked like a breeze and ran pretty cool considering the speed and voltage it got up to. At stock it ran very cool with a performance air cooler and even at stock it ran everything I threw at it very fast.I actually like that it has 4 cores running at a decent stock speed since so few applications are multithreaded.
