Cons:- Expensive, BUT you get what you pay for

Pros:- Extremely fast- Perfect gaming CPU for Ultra settings
Comment:
I bought this to upgrade from my Bulldozer platform. As we all know, it didn't perform up to the hype. Installed my shiny new i5 and BAM, I can play all current games at maxed out settings.

Cons:Bad at multi tasking

Pros:VERY FAst NO need for OC
Comment:
for an I5 it really lives up to its speed in running games and videos at a very great speed no oc needed as the oem speed is very fast but when it comes to multi tasking it can not live up to I7 well thats obvious

Bought this to replace an old LGA 775 CPU. I couldn't be happier. Overclocking was super easy. Managed to hit 4.4 GHz with only a minor voltage adjustment. Love it

I have bought two of these, overclocking one with ease. Even better deal when on sale or in a combo with a MSI Z77A-G45 mobo for $299.

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Price. Read below.

Pros:Unlocked with great potential for overclocking.Great out-of-box performance if not overclocking.
Comment:
Intel has been in the zone now for a few years, with the best performance processors on the market but at a higher price point than the offerings from the competition.Great processor for the price but you can save a few bucks here by getting a price match.I'm always a bit put out that the consumer has to pay more for a processor that essentially has one less step in the manufacturing process for the unlocked CPU than the locked cores. It is a very small premium and I understand why Intel does it but it bugs me just the same. The above rant aside, this unlocked CPU provides fantastic performance and overclocks very generously. One can easily achieve the performance of a considerably more expensive i7 from this CPU.Runs pretty cool with just the stock heatsink and fan combination and no overclock. Fan is surprisingly quiet considering it's size though it is audible enough to be heard. I'm a silence enthuisiast so I suggest an aftermarket heatsink and fan to provide an improvement on the cooling and further limit the noise from the fan.If you are not interested in overclocking in the slightest then I would recommend looking at one of the locked i5 CPU's as you are paying a premium for the option to overclock this one. If you are unsure whether you may want to overclock down the road then pick this up as it is only a few dollars more than a comparable locked CPU and a few bucks to keep your options open is a small price indeed. This has been a great CPU so far and I would definitely recommend it for purchase.

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Nothing at all.

Pros:Affordable, fast, reliable.
Comment:
I bought this for a gaming machine, saved myself $100 instead of a faster i7 because its not really important for gaming. Its a quality processor without a doubt. I only gave it a 4 stars because out of the box it only scores a 7.6 on windows experience index. Just because I personally thought it would score a 7.9, but instead is the weakest link in my machine.

Cons:None

Pros:-Fast-63 C full load with stock fan and turbo boost on all 4 cores at full frequency-Good value-Good power efficiency-Decent iGPU for a media based PC
Comment:
This CPU is well priced and exceeded my expectations. The iGPU is similar to a ~$35 graphics card. It is capable of playing back 3D Blu-ray. The CPU runs cool on full load with stock fan (load simulated using Intel processor diagnostics). I would defiantly suggest an after market cooler for overclocking.

I have 1st gen of i5 which is 760 lynnfield.Still runs good enough but needed another pc.So I decided to build new rig with i5 3570k Ivy Bridge, also upgraded my old rig with 760 up to same spec of new one.Did head to head comparison, result was outstanding.I didn't even overclocked 3570k yet(760 has been OCed) but still, 3570k smoked 760.Great CPU!!!!

This thing is amazing, coming from an i5-750 the 3570k blows it out of the water. Overclocks like a champ but make sure to pick up a different heatsink as the stock one wont cut it. Well worth the price.

great CPU for the price, I had no use for hyperthreading for gaming so taking the 'downgrade' saved my a hundred bucks and probably didn't lose any real world performance.

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Heat and crazy voltage needed at some point just for a slight increase in MHz. But very satisfied with the OC, so no point in doing so.Paid for a useless fan. Shouldn't be paired with a K processor.

Pros:FastEfficientEasily overclockable
Comment:
If you are looking to build a computer for gaming, then look no further. This thing is blazing fast. It's also very easy to overclock. While you will get a higher clock with the previous generation CPUs, these are faster clock per clock, and the performance is roughly the same for game (slightly better for the Ivys). So basically, it's all about the price. Get whichever one is the cheapest. If you are gonna overclock (which you should), you'll find it very easy to push this thing to 4.4-4.5 Ghz. Anything past that will give you a whole load of trouble and I'd advise not to try. It's really not worth it.Let me add: this works fantastic with an ASRock z77 Extreme4 board. It's really the best build at the time; a fairly cheap duo producing amazing power and stability. Just be sure if you get an ASRock board to post your mail-in rebate in time (8 days isn't much).I also paired those up with G.Skill Sniper 1866Mhz ram. They work flawlessly at advertised speed. Get yourself an SSD and you're ready to roll (NOT from SanDisk!).

It rocks! Runs cool even when OC'ed. Excellent value for money. Paired with a Z77 and 32Gb RAM & gtx680. CPU never exceeds 85% utilization on anything I do on my PC. Would have gone with a 6 core Intel but I am now glad I did not.NCIX has the best pricing for this CPU when I bought it p $214!

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- Heats up more than Sandy Bridge version (ex: i5 2500K)- Paid my 2500K 200$ like 2 years ago so why is that Ivy Bridge 220$?!

Pros:- Very fast- Not too expensive- Unlocked
Comment:
It was for a friend who had an AMD X2 5200+ since 2004 so he's now really happy. I didn't OC it yet since the motherboard's "MSI OC Genie" doesn't seem to work as it should, it's stuck at 3.4Ghz... anyhow good cpu though it should be 200$ but why would they lower their price if AMD is no comeptition right now.I say get Intel if you plan to game, otherwise get a cheap AMD X6.
