Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Hotter then Sandy Bridge

Pros:Faster then Sandy BridgeEasy to install
Comment:
Upgraded from AMD 955. This is far better then AMD 955. I was quite surprised on how small the chip has become. Only wish is that it was more cooler.

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Not worth the upgrade if you already have an unlocked Sandy Bridge, espacially if you're looking for 4.4Ghz - 4.5Ghz overclock and morePCI-E 3.0 is purely marketing

Pros:Excellent processor if you don't already own a 2500k-2600k or 2700k
Comment:
Here is why I made the comment regarding PCI-E 3.0:I did the switch (2500k to 3570k) because I recently acquired a 690gtx, so I thought that pci-e 2.0 might of bottlenecked my GPU (and yes, I do have a PCI-e 3.0 capable motherboard, a Z68 Gen3)So going from a 4.5Ghz 2500k pci-e 2.0 capable to a 3570k 4.3Ghz pci-e 3.0 capable didn't do any difference in 3d performance and/or fps wise, so the upgarde is really not worth it in that regards. And yes, I confirm that IB heats up a lot more compared to SB counterparts for the same voltage raise, even with high end aftermarket air cooling (at 1.21volt, on 100% load, it goes in the 80C on all 4 cores on a prime95 (27.7) blend run!... But IB do have a higher Tj case max though, 105C for IB vs 98C for IB...)But don't get me wrong, eventhough this was not a worthy upgrade for me, this is still an excellent cpu for anyone having less than an unlocked Sandy Bridge.Would give it a 5/5 if price would be little lower (around 175$-180$), but at 220$ (mainly due to lack of competition, come on AMD!I give it a 4/5 stars

Cons:none yet

Pros:4 cores of awesome! lolruns any new game with ease, tons of multi-tasking ability
Comment:
I haven't overclocked yet so I can't tell you its capabilities or thermal issues, but this processor is terrific! Even running stock it handles everything I throw at it. I upgraded from a Core 2 Duo at 3GHz and had lots of trouble running BF3 at playable framerates. This was such an upgrade BF3 runs smooth as silk!Haven't tried the onboard graphics either, so can't attest to that

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:A little expensiveThe included cooler is crappy

Pros:Great performanceEasy to overclockStableUnlockedNot hot with an aftermarket heatsink
Comment:
I've installed this cpu on an ASUS P8Z77-V LE Plus motherboard and the heatsink is the Coolermaster 212+. I upgraded from the Core 2 Duo E6850 so the performance jump is great. I did a small overclock to 4100 Mhz on all the 4 cores and under Prime95 torture test (most heat) for 30 minutes, the cpu temp was 39 C and the hottest core was 59 C. I use Hardware Monitor for the temps. Intel EIST wasn't working once after an overclock but it's working fine now. I'm satisfied with the performance and the temps of this cpu. Needless to say, an aftermarket cooler is recommended.

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- warmer than I would like (y 4.5ghz/1.26v) but still satisfiable

Pros:- easy to overclock- quick and powerful
Comment:
This CPU is a beast. I haven't built a computer since 2003, and the last gaming setup I had was a preowned e8400/p5q pro/2xhd4850 which was okay but I wanted more and had a good income tax return ;P. Purchased this along with an ASUS P8Z77-V and overclocked like a charm as soon as I was able. The temperatures are alright but I use a Hyper 212+ and I've never seen anything above 75c while stress testing. So far it has handled with ease anything I've thrown at it. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade or just wants a fresh build. Can't go wrong here.

not really suitable for value builds, but thats not really a con I suppose so I didn't list it as one. At 4.3Ghz at 60-68c load with a noctua nh-d14 and completely stable. Good for a moderate gaming build or rendering machine.

Comment:
Got a good deal and am very happy with this cpu. Using Antec Kuhler H20 620 liquid cooler easy OC to 4.3 with load temps < 70C. Still playing, but the secret seems to be keeping cpu voltage down. Temps can ramp up very quickly with even small voltage increases.

Cons:none

Pros:Great processorExcellent price
Comment:
This is the 3770k's little brother. It about $100 less and still delivers the same performance. At only 4 threads short from the 3770k's 8 threads, it's still a bargain. Not everyone is going to need the full 8 threads, if you do, then you probably know why you're going for the 3770k anyway. In my opinion, it's a great entry price for Intel's 22nm processors.

the 3570k is the best bang for buck chip you can get! Get a proper heat-sink of water-cooling kit for it! Stock one is useless, I don't see why Intel waste money with them

Cons:higher temps than Sandy Bridge when overclocked

Pros:great performance for the priceruns at a lower voltage than Sandy Bridgestable
Comment:
Bought this for my mini-ITX build using an Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe board. Great little CPU, high performance and good value for the money. Faster than my old 2500K at same clocks and lower voltage required to reach 4.5Ghz (1.33V vs 1.25V). Downside is that it runs hotter than Sandy Bridge but still well below the limit at around 70C during a LinX test (watercooled).

Pros:Great CPUDecent overclockerIntegrated GPU
Comment:
This is a great CPU. I don't regret choosing this cpu over Sandy Bridge. From what I hear, it performs better than Sandy Bridge clock for clock, but just isn't able to clock as high due to the higher heat output compared to SB. I can get to 4.4GHz at decent temps, but any higher will just be too much. A great buy!The newer integrated GPU is a nice addition. I have yet to use it for any of my daily routines though.

One of the best cpus out there and for it's price. More than enough for just home use and casual gaming. Even suitable for hardcore gaming and definitely a great pick for a gaming computer. Runs incredibly smooth with just 8 gigs of RAM and never overheats with a Noctua CPU cooler. Just love the price and the power it offers.
