Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None so far (haven't tried over clocking it yet)
Pros:Runs cold with my H100Fast |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:temperature with regular heatsink is about 35 degree celsius
Pros:fast and about 10% difference with sandy bridge Comment:
I bought this to replace my icore 5 720 because it was old and I thought it was time to replace it. This CPU is much faster than previously I owned. Well worth the cash |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Too much heat, but only when overclocked above 4.4
Pros:A hell lots faster than my old pentium 4DQuicksync works wonderfully, you can use it to watch extremely high bitrate 2160p at 50fps no problemCan be overclocked fairly easily up to 4.6 at about V1.25, after that it is simply too hot Comment:
Good purchase, I did not find any immediate need for i7 so i5 it was. Good for everything really, even rendering if you are willing to wait a few extra minutes. Quicksync is simply amazing at decoding video. It is actually more powerful than its overclocked cpu part at decoding. Must use. |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None so far
Pros:Cheap for 2nd gen i5 Comment:
Compared to 1st gen i5, it is definitely more bang for your bucks.I believe the i5 2550k? costs around 240 dollars as wellThe processor comes with the stock cooling fan, but I would recommend liquid cooling if you are going to overclock it.If you are not overclocking, I would recommend CPUs without K at the end |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:runs hot
Pros:future proof Comment:
had some heat issues with this cpu but got it to stabalize at 4.6. If i were to grab a 2500k i would have stopped around there anyways so might as well just grab this. |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Nothing to report
Pros:Super fast, overclockable, less heat consumption. Comment:
This baby is super fast! Coming from a 2.6GHz dual core, this blows everything out of the water. HD 4000 is really good too. I can play most games at 1920x1080 on medium at 60 fps. |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:n/a
Pros:fastgood clockunlocked Comment:
at stock, heat doesn't seem to cause any problems. I'm cooling it with the corsair h80 and temps are at average of 30 and peaks to 50. I think this was a good buy, and there's no need for an i7 especially if you are not doing heavy cpu based programs |

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- Runs hot- Cheap stock heatsink
Pros:- Fast- Small Comment:
What can I say about the performance of these that already hasnt been said? Some info for potential customers:1. It runs hot with the stock heat sink (idle 40 degrees)2. The stock heat sink is super cheap cheap cheap, like cheaper than the sandy bridge i3 heat sinks. I was shocked at how much they skimped on it. My i5 2500k had a much better heat sink. I am doing this build for a friend and after I saw it I suggested upgrading that think ASAP. |
Great processor! The graphics capability of this really surprised me.
