Had it for 2 months.. have to reset the device twice a day as it will disable wirless for some odd reason. It's a pain.. but I guess you get wat you paid for. Install was easy and straight forward.

I got this to replace a D-Link wireless router. The setup was 10 times easier and I haven't had to reset it once since (that wasn't the case with the D-Link). I've had it for about 6 months now too. Setup took all of 15 minutes, its cheap, easy, simple, and secure. Right now I'm running my PC, wireless laptop, and my PS2 off of it. It has pretty good range too. I can take my laptop out to the front porch or the patio and still have a strong signal.

I initally tried to set up a linksys wireless router with my cable modem and Vonage router. After six hours I returned the router to the store. This Netgear router was so easy to set up. Within 15 minutes all the system was working with absolutely no bugs.

i have had it for about 5 months replaceing my old linksys. i am a pro at networking i fix all my firend and my moms network at work. this router is perfect netgear is one of the best routers u can buy along with linksys and d-link. i have a searver conected to this that runs my domain. i share 2 printes 4 computers files and game consoles. if u keep losing your conection it probably is your cordless phone. my firend had that problem try changing your wireless channal on the router or get a new phone. the setings included in this are great. much better then my 54mbps linksys that caust $130 1 and a half years ago. and from all the routers i configured and used this is one of the best! a got 2 get! it works great with my linksys accesspoint wap54g and my wet54g wireless bridge.

Bought the router in July, so far so good! Set up was not the breeze it should have been, but that was due to complications created by the crash of the previous router and my trying to patch and fix and the DSL provider trying to patch and fix. The Netgear customer service was exceptionally nice!! I have not had to reboot, which is a nice switch from last system! I was advised to purchase this router from a friend and am glad I did...would recommend to others as well.

Setup was relatively simple. Aesthetics are quite nice. The unit I received was white however (not silver) so just be prepared for an iPod look-alike. Everything is well documented. Wireless performance throughout the house is decent and its great that I can use wireless B devices like my Dad's PDA and my DS Lite to connect to the internet. A good buy for the price. The rebate is already on its way in the mail to our house.

I purchased a Netgear WGR614 wireless router from TigerDirect in May 2006 to replace a failing wireless router. My overall experience with TigerDirect was excellent with the router arriving faster than I expected. I have had the Netgear only one month. It has worked fine, but I had two competitor's units that worked flawless for 5-6 months then failed, so a one month ownership period might not be long enough to determine long term user satisfaction. To this point in time, the WGR614 wired and wireless connections work well. WGR614 set-up, including turning off broadcast of the SSID, setting WEP, system configuration backup, etc., was very easy. With my router on the second floor of my home, wireless covers the first and second floors of my entire (small) home.

Great router! I've had no problems with wired connections, but I don't have any wireless devices to test the wireless component on. Setup was very easy.

It took me three times, but I, the computer novice, got it to work. It has saved us a lot of headaches being able to get the second computer online with the use of wireless technology. I would highly recommend this product.

If you've never setup a wireless network, the enclosed CD walks you through the process, step by step or, directly access the router's setup pages with your browser. Either way, the router's configuration can be completed in minutes. I replaced a different brand router that had to be reset multiple times each day wreaking havoc with my Internet business phone. After installing the Netgear router, my network connection is stable and reliable. Great product!

Purchased on 5/31 and setup in 15 minutes out of the box. It works flawlessly and connects a computer in an upstairs bedroom with no signal or connection problems. I would definetly reccomend this product to anyone starting a wireless connection. The price was right also with a rebate.

nice price and very easy setup. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and it's worked pretty well, It has lost connection a few times and that was solved by turning it off then on. A decent wireless router for the price.

Good little wireless router. I only use it for holding my ISP connection and as a WAP for my laptops. Really great for the price, wireless range is excellent. I did have one problem when I purchased it, it didn't really want to respond to anything. I had to fight with it a lot but after I flashed the firmware to the newest version from Netgear.com, its been nothing but smooth sailing. :)

Regardles of the bad reviews others have p osted, I've had this router for about a year and it works awesome from anywhere in the house and outside. I have never had the router time out or overheat. As for those who rated the router poorly, maybe they should configure the router properly for the wireless activity to make sure others aren't piggy backing on their wireless connection and blocking them out. The setup through the ip address is tricky for newbies I'm sure, but once you figure it out it's simple. Just set the wireless portion to connect to your personal Wireless Card found on the bottom of your laptops and it'll only allow those devices to connect through the router. It works perfectly.

Good, solid product. Easy to set up. I have 1 computer wired into it, and 2 on it wirelessly and it works fine with no problems. I do wish the firewall had more options. I have kids and would like better parental controls with the firewall. Other than that, it works great.

While the router is really great. I did not care for the wizard that is supposed to simplify the installation. If the installation had gone smoothly I probably would have been able to live with it. However, this thing got in a fight to the death with the Verizon DSL Modem. Unfortunately the wizard gives you no clue as to what is going on. After waiting on the phone for half an hour a tech support person stepped me through the installation process. Had they included the information on how to get to the regular setup it would have saved me the half hour on the phone.

I really like the Netgear networking Products. Earlier purchased a wired Router, and now a Wireless (614) router + adapters. Have also used products of other Co.s, but I am more inclined toward Netgear products.
