Prompt rebate. Unit supplies feed to two PCs with 802.11b usb adaptors, a wireless notebook with 802.11g/802.11b capability. Speed is very acceptable. Unit is sleek, and compact. Easy installation.

Router setup was easy, just used CD that came with it. Couldn't get my laptop (Toshiba M-45) to see the network though. Called tech support (about a 5 min. wait), they walked me through the wireless setup, and everything works fine. For coverage pay attention to the tips on antenna position, it makes a big difference. All in all good product at an excellent price even without the rebate.

I've had this for a while, all the other reviews that show a bad review is because they have other problems with software or just a defective unit.I have installed dozens of these for friends and only twice did I have a problem and they we're both software problems, by far this is the simple simon easy to use router I have ever used! for the price it's worth it! it's the price of three people going to McDonalds! hey you you don't keep the food right? But you have a wireless for a long time....figure out the value..

I was thoroughly impressed with how painless it was to set up this device. If you are at least somewhat technically inclined and understand the fundaments of networking, this router is a complete breeze. If you do not understand the fundaments of networking, thats okay - the directions are extremely straight forward, and the ''auto-configuration'' doe nost of the work for you. ***Brodband Cable Customers*** you should ALWAYS release your IP address prior to installing any new device directly to your broadband connection. This way, when your new router asks your ISP for an IP address, it can easily get one.

This was the easiest router to set up and have running I have ever dealt with! It took about ten minutes to configure for both my wired and wireless pc's in my home and home office. I've tried others and have had plenty of problems with them. I give it the best rating available.

This is entirely trouble-free if you follow the directions that say to plug in your dsl, cable (or other connection) first. It has WPA-SPK so that you can give it a simple password to guard wireless access. It also has two firewalls stacked together to protect you. The antenna is non-removable, non-upgradable. That's because this unit has far more power than would be permitted with a larger antenna. There's actually big benefits to this. Far more power!!! Out of the box, it has roughly twice the range of the D-link and Linksys. And, if you're into modding, just ''read between the lines'' above and start smiling--a lot. It's also very easy, very fast, very secure, and totally trouble-free. The average consumer will have a very easy time with this, while the enthusiast will love it too. Wow!! Thanks Tiger!! P.S. Not a bridge product, but will provide connections to bridge products, AP, gaming adapters, 4 ethernet cables, and all wireless devices.

What a great piece of kit! Took no time to set up and configure for both wired and wireless pc's in my home office with a mix of Windows and Linux OS's. It's been running perfectly for over a year and has never stuttered! Easy to configure static IP's for print & file servers and port forwarding. I have used other wireless routers and this is the best that I have found so far.

The router worked okay for about a month then started to lose the internet and wireless connections. Eventually it wouldn't connect at all, then I couldn't even login to the router. Tech support told me I HAD to connect it to the network (which was not possible for me at the time) so they could run me through all the checks I told them I had already done. I gave up. Also, be aware that even if you order a product from them on the last day of a rebate and your PACKING LIST shows the next day's date (ordering late at night caused this) then the rebate WILL NOT be honored. They require that you use the original packing list for the rebate, the order confirmation from Tiger is not acceptable. I am totally unhappy with their support, both Tech and Rebate. I have since purchased a Linksys router. It was very simple to install, has a better and more informative manual and has worked flawlessly. It even has better wireless range and signal capabilities.

This Router is a Joke and confirms that old saying:You get what you pay for! If I were TigerDirect,I would pull the plug on the sale of this router. When I saw it advertised, I felt it important that people be aware of the problems that this router is prone to. Thr router works perfect for a wired connection. If you need one, for wireless, forget it! I bought this router and had no end of problems with my wireless connection cutting off, causing me to reset my router and cable modem every so often. When I phoned NetGear Tech Support, the tech support made the problem worse, told me she would do some research and call me back and never ever phoned me back or E-Mailed me. I was pretty much left to trouble shoot the problem on my own and never totally resolved the problem. Needless to say I bought a LinkSys WRT54GS-CA and have never ever again had the problem of my laptop wireless connection dropping. You can read about all the problems with this router on NetGear's Forum: http://for

I was not able to get support either by phone or email. I lost over 8 hours trying to get the router to work without results. I have faith in Tiger direct and have sent the router back to them and ordered another brand from Tiger Direct

Eureka! I have installed a few different routers, wired and wireless, and this was by far the easiest I have used. Only 20 minutes into the setup and I was surfing the net and my home network. I highly recommend this product and at the price of $29.99 (after rebate) you will be hard pressed to find a better deal.

Had trouble with set up, the router would not talk to my PC, had to call for tech support. After a power failure, the router needed to be reset, again needed to call for tech support. Since then it's been working OK, good signal throughout the house and yard.

I bought this router for my second computer setup, it works VERY good with my D-Link USB adapter (54mbps), I recieve about 24-36mbps from the other side of my house. I get the same download speeds as i did before, even on the wireless computer. For the price, this router is worth it.

Dear provider. I am surprised not to see yet the review I submitted in december about the NetGear814. I tried to submit it again, but as I already submitted it once, I have now to change product name to communicate with you: I was saying in my review that the netgear814 worked fine for 1 month and then stopped working, which gave me the opportunity to evaluate the Netgear service support: this service support is unefficient and completely useless as it requests to pay more to ship the eqmt back than to buy one brand new !! .... while this may look (really) bad for Netgear, think about it twice: it looks (very) good for you, as it shows that you sell new products very low ! Anyway, pls tell me pls that you don't only post good reviews on your website. I really enjoy shopping with TigerDirect, and I hope your decision not to post my review is simply an omission that you will correct. Thank you very much. Yves Pierrisnard

Worked okay for first couple weeks, then slowed and finally after one and a half months it stoped working. After 3 hours on the phone with tech. support (they initially blamed my ISP, which was false) they made me ship it back for a replacement...what a pain! Caution buying this product, I've heard similar stories from others.
