this is a versy fast sd card it is used for my rasberry pi that i have purchassed for the xbmc player. Fast ... it's a "class ten" It's a ൘ GB" card that formats to much less than 15 GB. Read speed is pretty quick at about 15MB/sec. Write speed is NOWHERE Close to ten Megabytes per second as stated on the package! This card writes slower than my old Class four Kingston card. I've run a number of tests using two separate computers/card readers. It takes Ӱ.five minutes to write 500MB of information. That's beneath 2MB/sec! I've tried reformatting to various file systems/allocations, but absolutely nothing helps. I'm seriously disappointed. What is the point of the "Class" program if there are no requirements set?! Also, I now notice that 25% of ratings are 1 egg! What was I considering? The four-egg average is a small misleading. I'm guessing they round up. I'm starting to wonder if the 5-egg raters genuinely know how slow this point writes, or if they're just happy because it functions. Performs fine with my Canon 60D.I could record at 1080ቺf with no a glitch (thought the recording limit on 60D is only 4GB per file so I could only record up to 12min of video in 1 go). I attempted recording three occasions and the card worked perfectly fine.Tried the burst mode ƕ.7fps) and it took about 45 pics on an average.Haven't tried it on my Vixia HF21 till now (busy). Will update when I do so. I wish it could be more quickly enough to take more shots in burst mode... but It's sufficient for my desires. Get this card when it comes on extra sale. It's not worth the full value :)

I purchased this for my Canon HF100 HD digital video camera, but the camera reports that this card isn't quick adequate to record at the highest resolution/birate, so I have to step down a setting (from FXP to XP+) to record. I've been using a Transcend 16GB Class 6 card that I purchased from NewEgg for the past year, and it's in no way had this dilemma (records at the highest bitrate fine), so needless to say, I'm disappointed in this supposed "Class ten" card. This is a high density, rapid card. It worked fine in my Nikon D80. Can't beat this for the value. None found so far. Used on my Nikon D7000 with no issues. Keeps up with video and 6 fps picture taking. After reading evaluations that these didn't operate in a lot of cameras I was worried. No difficulties at all for me. Ordering an additional one nowadays.

Incredibly quickly card and somewhat inexpensive. fantastic tech support from Patriot This card would not operate with my Nikon D7000 camera. the camera acted like the card was not there. The card worked perfectly in the reader in my computer. I contacted Patriot via their on the net help and was place in touch with 1 of their technicians who had me mail the card to him. I had a series of emails with the technician who stated about a month later that they believed they had fixed the difficulty and sent me a new card. That card did not operate either. I emailed back to the technician that the new card did not function either and he instantly place the problem to their RMA department. A week later they sent me a brand new 32 GB class ten card. That card worked perfectly in my camera. They need to have some sort of concern just with that a single type of card. I have only high praise for their tech support.
