PATRIOT 16GB SD CLASS 10
Comment:
Big size, Affordable. It's not a class10 card. I would say it's a class six card.Tested with H2testw v1.4Writing speed: 11.two MByte/sReading speed: 15.9 MByte/sThis is my 2008 SanDisk Extreme III 8GB class6:Writing speed: 13.8 MByte/sReading speed: 15.9 MByte/sYou can see the writing speed is slower than my old sandisk class6 card, so it's not a class ten card. If it's a class6 card it's a rapidly card anyway. Compare with Sandisk extreme III class6 with 4x money. I am very happy with this, but I hope it operate as great as Sandisk. Overall it's a excellent replacement for class6 card with this cost.

PATRIOT 16GB SD CLASS 10
Comment:
It works... ...until you really start off pushing data onto it. 720p video would give "Memory card too slow" messages on my Samsung HMX-H200. ***NOTE***Patriot memory is not listed as a tested compatible SDHC for the camcorder***After testing the card in several card readers I get an typical of 17Mbytes/sec READ and 7 Mbytes/sec WRITE. As stated in other evaluations this in not a class 10 card. Other than the speed issues I have not had any other troubles with the card.

I've bought a couple of these for my various digital equipment. I use it in my Canon 60D SLR, and have had no issues with shooting HD or high res photos. Transfer rate is reasonable, no data loss, very good. I also use one in my GoPro, and have had no issues with HD here either.Value is excellent.

PATRIOT 16GB SD CLASS 10
Comment:
This card is a lot more than quickly sufficient for 1080p video recording on Kodak PlaySport ZX-3, which I use it in. Factor I like the most, it is considerably a lot more sturdy than normal blue SD cards I have employed from SANDISK. It gives that warm feeling that it will last a small longer if dropped a couple of times. None so far

PATRIOT 16GB SD CLASS 10
Cons:I wouldn't get this based on other reviews on other sites citing failure after severe usage with fast camera shots. I personally use Sandisk instead for reliability.

Pros:Cheap 16GB scratch storage for my VAIO ZFast enough, I can reach 20MB/s which is Class 10 speeds
Comment:
Overall, for $16 or so after MIR, it's a decent flash card for 16GB to tack onto a computer which doesn't come with much space in the first place (VAIO Z) and can't be upgraded.

PATRIOT 16GB SD CLASS 10
Comment:
This is a class 10 SDHC card at good value, in particular when I purchased it with บ rebate. I do not have the DSLR I want to use this card yet, so I did some test according to some reviewers here who found difficulties with this card.I tested this card on my two year old HP desttop personal computer with card reader, against a 4GB class four SDHC card. I copied three.72GB of photographs and videos to each card and erase them later. It took 13 min and 51 sec to copy to the 4GB class four card. It took only four min and 46 sec to copy the very same files to this 16GB class 10 card. The speed difference is substantial. It took about the very same time to erase the files for each cards, about 6 sec.The writing speed is about 13MB/sec. The criteria for class ten is bigger than 10MB/sec. So this card is a accurate class ten. None for now. I give it a 4 egg rating due to the fact I do not know its reliability and durability. If I could, I would come back to add this information.

PATRIOT 16GB SD CLASS 10
Comment:
Size No where near class 10 efficiency. Not quickly enough to record high def video. It's a actual shame that Patriot is passing this off as a class 10 card. If you read their responses, they claim this is due to the hardware. Even so, as other people have stated, the card does not test anywhere near class 10 efficiency. This is actually unfortunate, mainly because it's a great price, but now I have to take the time to send this back for a refund due to the misrepresented speed. Word to the wise, if you need performance, stick to the large boys like Sandisk. They do not misrepresent their items. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Client, We're sorry for any inconveniences this might have caused you. Please don't hesitate to contact assistance@patriotmem.com for any technical questions you might have and we'll gladly look into the issue to see what the problem is. Rest assured that we take pride in delivering good quality goods and outstanding service. Thank You for deciding on Patriot Memory! Regards, Patriot Support

Comment:
16 gb card for ย if and when I get the rebate with use with our Nikon D80 camera and ours kids digital cameras the card works fine...not wonderful...till you take over 20 pics at 1 event then the card begins to slow down to a crawl to transfer pics. The Nikon would take 15-20 SECONDS for its processing/transfer light to go off. We do shoot pics in the combo mode that we get a Raw and a Jpeg file for every picture taken From other reviews this is a hit or miss card and I got a miss.Truly makes me wonder how tough they test these cards just before they go on the marketplace! Can't wait for Patriot to reply saying their usual "Please be aware that the speeds are host-dependent and can differ from program to method...the actual challenge is their quality manage is all over the location/nonexistent

none Does not work with Kodak Playsport Zx5. Does not work with Nikon D7000. Memory keeps on dropping out.Pretty considerably useless. Hopefully I can locate some thing it can work on.Going to stick with Sandisk from now on. No additional inexpensive flash memory. Pros:Price/CapacitySpeed

I bought this SD card to use with my DSLR. It does at least Class-6 speeds and I've seen it go faster in my cheap card reader. It does feel a bit flimsy though but that's a common problem with SD cards. CF are much more durable

great price. I have two canon cameras, a t2i and a 60d. This card won't work correctly with either camera. Cameras give a "recording automatically stopped" error. This means the card is too slow. My class 6 cards from other producers work fine. I've emailed their support, but havent' gotten a response in 24 hours. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer,I see that you already initiated contact with our support team. Please be aware that it could take up to 48 small business hours. Cons:none

Pros:16gb, 15 MB/s write, 20 MB/s read
Comment:
I got this card to use as a boot drive to play around with Easy Peasy Linux for my Asus netbook. It has a write speed of 15 MB/s and a read spead of 20 MB/s which allows it to boot fairly fast from the card reader in the Asus Netbook. Definitely lives up to its class 10 rating.

PATRIOT 16GB SD CLASS 10
Cons:make sure your device supports SDHC, older devices will not work.

Pros:Very fast write speedVery fast transfer speedPlenty of room for 1080 videosInexpensive
Comment:
I bought this card for my Sony Nex-5 camera. If I record on highest video setting I can get 3 hrs recording time. That is plenty of room to store more than 1 day's worth of footage.Transfer speed very fast. I have around 10-12 memory cards in total and this one is definitely the fastest card so far. However my recommendation when it comes to buying cards is not to put your eggs in one basket. Make sure you have 2-3 cards to interchange so even if you lose one card, you don't lose all your precious data.
