I bought this for a 7 year old laptop without a wireless card. It works very well, looses connection some, but is back up within seconds. Great value compared to Charter wanting $50 for the same thing. My USB ports are old and slow, so that could be the connectivity problem.

Using it for Linuxx also. connects without delay, no additional drivers needed. A great pick for an older laptop or if you're running Sunn or Linuxx.

I purchased this wireless adapter and could not get it to work. I downloaded driver from their website, still will not work. I give up. I tryed to use with windows XP.

I purchased this product upon reading reveiws of its ease of use and general level of quality. It worked initially but once I shut my computer down for the first time, I ahven't been able to make it work. I had to install the software on my computer, the directions were all in a foreign language so Ihad to try and figure out what to do by looking at the pictures provided on the instructions (which also read in foreign languages), it fails to connnect on its own so I always have to

Works Great. Recently purchased at beginning of New Year. Plugged into desktop and recognized immediately, connected to Sympatico Wi-Fi without a problem. Still running at full capacity on network. Considering purchasing a second one for home-office desktop.

Had trouble with USB port recognizing a wireless device. (May have been the port.) Instructions can be confusing. Had to recurse through instructions several times before got it right. Once installed, works fine. Good value.

Works Great. I had a 69.00 linksys originally and it made my computer freeze up and I would get warning messages that my hard drive was in serious jeapardy. This one works like a charm and no more freezing or incompatability messages.

The adapter's most important feature is that it works. Setup takes some work. The setup doesn't work quite the way the documentation indicates and needs some trial and error. (I don't remember exactly what I did, so can't explain it.) If you're buying this you probably have an older computer. Try it in different USB ports. On my laptop it works very well in one, but barely works at all in the other.

I have ordered two of these so far. I ordered one for my desk top and another brand for my laptop. The other brand lasted only 3 months before tearing up. I have had nothing but a good experience with this product however, and have referred several friends to make the same purchse. I am very pleased. It was very easy to install and use. I use mine everyday and it works perfectly each time. It is a very consistent product.

The device performs well. But being new to wireless, the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Throwing away the instructions and just following the microsoft direction on setting up a network is the only way I got mine to function.

It's not often that you spend just $15 for something clever and it works as described. I bought two and had had good luck with them.
