Comment:
the gift that keeps on giving i bought 2 for my wife and I and couldn't be happier for $50 refurbished you can't beat the value . it didn't come with a manual but you can find it online . by the way I suggest you buy some for your kids cause i can't seem to keep my 9yr old and 13yr old off mine long enough to use it myself

This is my first MP3 player and I'm very happy with it. Obviously, I can't compare it to anything else.

Impressed by product
Comment:
The ordering and shipping process went flawlessly. The player performs as we expected and the amazing price allowed us to have far greater memory capacity than a similarly priced product. Great value and a quality product!

Tremendous player
Comment:
Plays my music, books, and lectures perfectly. Only place where I wish it's feature set was a bit more to my liking is when I have to select the lectures and books. Otherwise, whammo, excellent player and feature set. Great clear screen too!

Solid basic Mp3 Player
Comment:
This is a great product for the money. I just wanted a simple MP3 player. I wasn't concerned with bells and whistles. This does the job just fine. The display is clear and bright. The interface is simple to use and syncs easily with WMP (Although, I'd prefer being able to use something else) Plus, this unit has a built in FM Radio. I didn't think I'd ever use that, but I'm surprised how often I do. 8GB for this price is a great deal -- not to mention the expansion capability using a MicroSD card. I use this unit with the Bose in-ear headphones and it sounds great. My only complaint is that I wish it got a little louder. It's probably best for my ears that it doesn't, though.

Sort of.....
Comment:
Okay, this is refurbished and it is cheap and it is a good player. It has nice features and runs for a long time. All of that was great. However, my player's volume control was shot. It either was so low you couldn't hear it or so loud you couldn't listen to it. So, we're going to see how that extended warranty works. I'll post an update...

I had the 4Gig version of this player and wanted one with more memory. The unit looked brand new, had all the accessories promised and everything works. For the money you can't beat this player. I highly recommend a case or screen protector as the display material is rather soft and prone to scratching.

Amazing
Comment:
I wasn't sure what i was going to end up getting when i bought the player BUT i love it. It's not huge, the charge lasts nearly 2 weeks and it sounds amazing. I never thought a refurbushed item would be so good

Great Value
Comment:
Great value if you are not locked into ITUNES. Need a few extra steps to get itunes music into this product, however, FM radio, recording of radio stations and cost are all huge advantages of the Sandisk. Only negative is that you cannot schedule a recording of an FM station, only instant record is available. You cannot skip through a recording either, which is a bit annoying when it comes to ads or news. Would highly recommend it, especially the refurb models.

I used to own a 2GB model and liked it very much. When I saw the 8GB for such a low price, i couldn't resist. Got '2', one for me and '1' for my wife.

Great Replacement
Comment:
My 4gb Sansa died (audio clip that internally holds jack broke) This 8gb model was inexpensive and I sure can't tell it was refurbed. I have had a sansa now used daily for 2 plus years. These Sansas take a beating. my 4gb was dropped numerous times. This 8gb suffered a 6ft fall after the Griffin arm band I bought snapped the first time I used it. (Rubber gromit that holds arm band is cheap rubber) Plays great easy to use great functionality.

Last of a breed
Comment:
This MP3 player has several things going for it: 1) Large capacity for flash based player plus micro sd expansion 2) Excellent software interface; what good is having lots of music if you can't get to a artist, album , or song easily. 3) User replaceable battery. Even Lithium Ion batteries die, and new players, including Sansa, have built in batteries, which are difficult or impossible for you and me to get to.

Refurbished but works like new
Comment:
No regrets with this product. Works well especially at the Gym. Lots of memory for music and books for listening pleasure. I can't believe something so small can be so powerful. Refurbished price was excellent.

As re-furbs go Sansa is usualy a good bet..
Comment:
I currently own a e260 4gb, and the e280 8gb just purchased, they are very good with fine functions and ease of use.The arm band is a good add as it protects and allows more freedom of movement. I had to return the first e280, the micro SD card lock wouldn't hold the card in place. No Problem,

great player, if your hearing is good.
Comment:
I loved the unit. Good looks, easy to use, small size, and more then enough room at 8 gigs for me. Problems: the volume control was "normal/high" which failed to be enough for me to hear in places like the gym or car. Radio locked the unit up, but the tech folks had a fix. I returned it and bought a different player. Bummed because I had to settle for 4 gigs and ten bucks more in cost.

One important thing they don't say
Comment:
I received the player this week and couldn't make it work under plain Windows XP. Service Pack 2 must be installed else the player isn't recognized by the PC. Windows Media Player 11 was also required.

Outstanding Sound
Comment:
I Purchased this unit refurbished from (the site) about 1.5 years ago. It has been a great little player. I have used it primarily for audiobooks. The only complaint I have is that the fast forward/ reverse is slow. My control wheel is pretty sloppy now, and too sensitive, but it has been a good unit with sound deserving of a good set of earbuds. I bought a zune 8 gig new, and it died so I am back to my trusty sansa unit.

Good features, very dependable.
Comment:
Has slot for additional storage via mini SD, OS is very intuitive and responsive, and the volume is very loud. You will want to get the strap and rubber cover in order to keep the unit safe. Dropped the unit many times and its still operational, soaked it in the rain, it powered off. Let it dry for 1 day and it came back to life. Very good unit at a very good price.

Pretty good for your money
Comment:
I am happy with this MP3 player. It's not fancy but it does what it is supposed to do. It does lock up sometimes but I think that is because it was sitting in the car on hot days. Overall I would by this again and recommend others to do the same.

Well worth the money!
Comment:
This is the second SanDisk Sansa e280 I have owned. The first lasted about 3 years and the navigation wheel finally gave out. I use the unit primarily for audio books and it is perfect for that. The refurb model looks brand new. Only one problem with the refurb model I received. The fast forward tends to jump from one book segment to another when attempting to hold down the forward button to accomplish the fast forward. It is annoying, but certianly something I can live with for the price.
