You can get over the 2GB MicroSD limit by installing rockbox, www.rockbox.org. This also makes the player 10 times better and more fun! Mine was refurbished, and I have had some quirky behaviour, not wanting to turn on for awhile and whatnot..but it always pulls through. It's been more than a year, and I have been giving it lots of exposed use on the handlebars of my motorcycle. It's held up well. BEST MP3 PLAYER I'VE EVER HAD, TREMENDOUS VALUE.

Well... I bought the first one and died within a month. Had it replaced and the second one froze wirhing 3 months. I returned it and got my money back. Silly me... I bought a third one and the ''new one'' arrived dead. Need to say more?... tha's why is so cheap.

Great MP3 Player. Perfect gift for the holiday season. Have had mine for over 4 months. Bought it as refurbished from Tiger. No Problems at all. You can remove the ''REFURB'' sticker with your thumbnail.

Quick shipping, sounds great, easy to use. Definitely glad I bought the refurb as opposed to paying retail. Just as nice as an Ipod for a fraction of a price.

I am impressed with the performance of this unit and I would get another refurbished unit. However, I was disappointed that it was not clear in the description that there was no manual or software included in the package. I was eventually able to get what I needed from the Sandisk website but it was after I had difficutlty setting up the media on the player. I recommend that TigerDirect add information about where to get the information you will need to set up the player correctly the first time. However even with this disappointment I think this unit is a good value for the money.

It's awesome!!! First off it was very affordable and not overpriced like an IPod. The sound quality is great and it syncs seamlessly with Windows Media Player. The battery life is killer and I couldn't be more pleased with this product.

I took this unit out of the box and was loading music within 15 minutes. Works excellent. No glitches whatsoever. Tiger Direct was great as usual. Ordered the unit on Thurs at noon and received the unit by 1:00 pm Fri.

I love this product. I paid considerably more $159.99 at the time, and it was a deal then. The unit syncs without any software installation with my windows media player, on Vista Ultimate. The voice memo function has come in many times when shopping.(I used to bring little peices of paper with me everywhere.) I love that the FM tuner is built in unlike many Ipods which charge $125.00 more for that function. With a symple splitter cable it hooks up to anyones stereo when your visiting friends, or at parties. The video quality is good and the weight and feel is nice. I only wish I waited for the 16 gig model, Also the Micro SD slot is a life saver and DOES support the 8 gig new cards.(HD) Great buy!

I bought this to use in my Ford vehicle with Sync. This is one of the few MP3 players other than the Zune and the iPod which works perfectly with the system. I couldn't be happier. It works with the maximum set of functions. It responds to the voice commands, and integrates my playlists exactly as I configured them. As a bonus, while it's connected through the USB port and playing, it's also charging the battery. I get to work and rather than having to plug it in to charge, I can turn on the tunes and run for hours.

I bought the 4Gb refurbished model and couldn't be happier, got one for the wife also. I am one of the least-qualified people around when it comes downloading music to the computer and then transferring it to the player but this was so easy I amazed myself. Using Windows Media Player made it a breeze. It's a great buy and TD's usual great service was fantastic as usual.

I bought the 2Gb refurb and am happy with it after loading Rockbox. I had some issues with the Sansa firmware: 1. During quiet passages, the left channel would sometimes cut out and not come back on until the next song. 2. You cannot play folders. 3. Cannot play Ogg Vorbis or FLAC files. 4. Slow startup. 5. Occasional lockups that had to be cleared by holding the power button down for about 30 seconds. Upgrading with the latest Sansa firmware did not help. Loading Rockbox solved all of these issues and provided better sound. The same mp3 files sounded better using Rockbox compared to the Sansa firmware. Re-ripping to Ogg Vorgis provided even better sound along with a smaller file size. Note: Luckily, my Sansa is version 1. Rockbox does not work with Version 2.

I bought a 4Gb refurb and couldnt be happier other than the fact that Sandisks media converter software that is used to convert video for use on the player, jacks with Media Center XP PCs..(Alot of video codec themed software does) You dont need that for mp3s.Windows Media Player 10 is excellent w/syncing this player and all your music,I like it better than iTunes and my iPod nano.

I love my SanDisk! I use it for quite a few things, but love the voice recorder for messages to myself, the equalizer and the storage is more than I need! Music is clear and crisp. I have only listened to it on headphones, so no eval on the speakers. I think the bass could be better, but the earbuds I am using (came with the player) are not the best. I would recommend getting quality buds. Great deal.

This is a mixed review, because it would have been a great player, nice features and such, but I ordered the 4GB refurb just like this advertised 8GB, but received a 2GB refurb instead...then the headset output started malfunctioning and then quit working. No headset would work. Sandisk quality and quality control have really gone down hill lately...However, TigerDirect did a great job!
