Under no circumstances drops a connection. Straightforward to set up. Works on Windows 7 64 bit and Windows XP 32 bit. Wish I knew why I can't get ᡹ Mbps on my N / 144 Mbps router. I -did- install the most up-to-date driver from the web site. An additional consumer assessment title was "This issue just performs" ... and I agree. Wireless networking applied to be high priced and fussy, but kudos to TP-Link for producing complicated technologies affordable and dependable.

Superb range for a USB adapter. Easy set up. A tiny lengthy, but that aids the range. Till N adapters figure out how to successfully use the 5Ghz range, this is an excellent purchase.

Have been using this model of TP-Link's USB wireless adapter for over a year now and it is a fool-proof and easy way to connect any USB device to the hotspots. Other than being a bit on the bulky side, it does have excellent reception over distance.

I bought this link as component of a new rig I was developing. It has preformed beautifully. It's constantly a stable and continuous connection. Even when gaming my latency is often below server latency. I recomend it to anyone. It is smaller but Long. You want to use the USB cable it's supplied with if you want to maintain your program seeking sleek or if you're working with it with a laptop. The cord is type of extended, which I thought was great. I would put the link in my pocket while I was in class. It has a higher bandwith than the mini-card in my old Dell 1501 Inspiron.

Needed this to give world wide web access in order to get Windows 7 Enterprise installed on a client on a SBS2008 domain w/out in fact joining the domain or letting the client see the domain for a bit (long story). Point getting, this worked ideal out of the box w/W7 64-bit. I got very good speeds, no drops. Vista 32-bit took a bit of nudging. It would connect locally but not to Online, but I think that's Vista.

Good Cost. Was up and running in a handful of minutes. Running it on Win. 7. Range is fine. The router it picks up from is over 60 feet away and there are various walls among. Signal staying steady not dropping off. The router it's choosing a signal up from is an older Actiontec G router. Backward compatability runs with no complications. If I had a N I bet this would be much better nevertheless. Recommend it at this value! None I can think of

I bought this to replace an old Belkin N Adapter that was cutting out intermittently. I was hesitant to acquire this since of the price. I'm glad I pulled the trigger. I have more quickly speeds and much better range than I did with my old adapter for practically half the cost! Properly worth the cost! It is a small large, but the bulkiness and antennae actually assist with its range. I have a desktop so it really isn't an problem. Plus the included cable makes it possible for me to use it without blocking other ports. Absolutely worth it. I would under no circumstances be in a position to get such a sturdy signal on the other side of my house with out it. Max transfer rate is 150Mbps with a compatible N router. That is WAY a lot more than I want, but a person who paid for a router capable of 300 Mbps speeds might decide to invest additional to use the feature.

External antenna. Windows7 x64 found the driver automatically. It installed version 2...32 for a Atheros AR9271. It connected to my network rapidly, but then the adapter kept turning its radio off or one thing. The vibrant green LED on it kept flashing, but it wouldn't uncover any wireless networks. I had to reseat it to make it operate once again.I went to http://www.tp-link.com/support/download.asp?aɣ&m=TL-WN722N andI got TL-WN722N_100629.zipI pointed Device Manager at:\TL-WN722N\Driver Files\Windows 7 64bit and it stated the driver is up to date.So I uninstalled the driver, reseated it, and pointed it to the exact same extracted ZIP file folder. It found the drivers for "TP-LINK 150Mbps Wireless Lite N Adapter" nonetheless with version two...32Now it's been staying on the internet for two days, exactly where just before it wouldn't last 8 hours. It came with a three foot USB extension.

It functions Wonderful, hasn't dropped a signal yet and signal strength is often at full power 54mbps in my situation, my computer / media center is in the basement and the router is on the very first floor 50 feet away, nice overall design and the movable antenna is effectively produced. I'm using it with a G net/gear router with very good results, I can only guess how it work in N mode at 300 mbps. I had difficulty installing the driver package, it took a couple of tries before it worked correctly on a new XP machine. The USB plug is in the incorrect orientation for my MB. when plugged into the back USB the antenna points down but nonetheless functions fantastic. I have a couple other brands of these USB wireless adapters and all perform poorly but for some reason this one particular works Good, I wasted some money on the other people searching for this a single, so by this one and you'll wont be disappointed the search is more than. Newegg is the very best spot to obtain!!
