Vantec Spectrum Fan Card LED UV Blue 2400-4000RPM 17.7-29.5CFM 25-36.6DBA
Comment:
Moves a lot of air quite efficiently, blows air correct exactly where I need it (right on the Arctic Accelero S2 vidcard cooler on my 8800GT). Slider is uncomplicated to adjust. Obscenely noisy on high setting, lacks the three-pin connector needed to use with a front-panel fan controller. Some of those who complain that it doesn't exhaust...well, yeah, it's not Developed to do that. When getting fans, attempt to map out the airflow in your case. Maintain it uncomplicated and preserve it moving from bottom to top rated, try not to have too quite a few inputs and outputs in haphazard places.

It cools the GPU/CPU down by about 5 degrees celsius. I have a CoolerMaster HAF case with 4 Large fans and this tiny PCI slot fan is louder than all of the case fans combined!!!! I would only recommend if you don't mind all the noise.

Vantec Spectrum Fan Card LED UV Blue 2400-4000RPM 17.7-29.5CFM 25-36.6DBA
Comment:
Works at keeping dead air from accumulating inside the case. Idle temps on my GTX 480 went from 44-38, load dropped from 81 to 76 on crysis with the card fan at 72%. Incredibly, extremely annoying sounding fans, they make a high pitched whistling noise no matter what speed I set them at, although lower speeds have lower pitched whistling, but whistling nonetheless. Regardless of the improvements in temperature, I had to take these out of my case after a few hours. I could hear the noise these fans make more than all of my other 9 fans in the case, which is a bad factor. Get it if you're not too sensitive about greater pitched fans and want lower temps, otherwise if you're like me, stay away.

Looked good when I initial got it. And it does move air. Maybe not a lot though. Immediately after about the 3rd year, the LEDs got genuine dim, the blue plastic aged into a darker, hardly-at-all-UV-reactive color.

Cools very nicely. Slider control on the outside to give you control of the fan speed. Good for most practical uses. Mine is cooling the ram chips and mosfets for my 8800gtx even though a waterblock cools the gpu. This fan singlehandedly undid all of the perform I have accomplished to make my computer quiet. Practically all of my components are liquid cooled just so I can have a quiet apartment. I use scythe fans than are whisper silent. Then here comes this factor and blows the entire setup. This thing is loud even on the lowest setting. Wish they could have used fans that make much less noise.

Comment:
Both fans on this run fairly properly and extremely quiet. The control in the back permits you to turn down the fan energy, which I suppose could make the unit last longer and use much less voltage, but personally you need to in no way be that close to running out of voltage anyways (or it would be time to upgrade your energy supply). It appears to do the job good. I suggest this if your graphics card does not have a fan of its own. On my card (which has a fan) it lowered me by twoºC. On my brother's card which does not have a fan, it lowered the temp by 7ºC.Also the lights are quite vibrant and ideal for this unit. None that I could find. Despite the fact that personally I would have preferred a switch to turn the lights off when I want, but no biggy. Once more, if either your graphics card is missing a fan, or your laptop or computer has horrible airflow, get this card. It's cheap sufficient and it makes enough of an impact to help preserve your Pc cool, specifically with the upcoming summer :)

moves a lot of air LED is to vibrant, needs a clip to hold the fan in greater There is no reason for this to exist, i purchased this because i thought it would assist cool my old pc but it does absolutely nothing. Even on 100% my computer only ran 1-two degrees cooler and the added noise was not worth that. A weird note, make positive the speed selector is on the lowest when you plug it in mainly because the fan detects the initial setting as 1% so if its in the middle when you plug it in the fan will only go up to 50% speed

Looks good, MOVES air (see cons). The only thing this does is circulate the hot air inside the case. It does not exhaust hot air like other PCI coolers.I took this out of my case after having it in there for about a month, and my video card now runs five degrees cooler. I lost the packaging so Newegg can\'t refund my funds. I'm throwing this thing away.

Soon after Many years of Numerous Video cards with fans that fail fairly rapid from dust construct-up, I usually go for fan-much less video cards now! Now I can just maintain a couple of these cheep slot coolers on hand, and swap them out rather of a complete video card when the fan fails and cooks the card! This factor actually lights up the case quite well. I can not feel of anything. Make certain you are removing the warm air from the system so you usually have cooler air to circulate across the video card.

Quite quiet, and adjustable fan speed. Great if you have a hot running video card. Blue leds are just best, adds a cool effect and added lighting to your case. Female/Male Molex Connector! None! The led lights are pointless if you do not have a window on your case. Nonetheless because I cannot see mine there is no actual issue.

I've purchased 2 of these, to cool Adaptec 31605 and 52445 SATA/SAS RAID cards. Prior to each ran 50 to 55 degrees Celsius, and following both run 42 to 46 degrees, with fan speed slider set to about 75% full speed. None so far. Can not definitely comment on the noise factor, as the cooling fans for the drive arrays currently dominate the noise factor. This is the only fans I could locate that truly cover the card properly. Bought two far more as backups, as life expectancy of the fans is unclear.

Fan control is nice to have on it, have noticed that even on low setting, it does the job nicely. a tad bit noisy when you have it on high setting. have noticed a temp reduce of anywhere from ten-15 degrees fahrenheit. also, the l.e.d.s in it appear remarkable, not obnoxiously bright, but casts enough light to illuminate everything about it. incredibly rich blue with a hint of purple.

Comment:
Solid construction, fan speed manage, compact size for air moving performance. Low to High fan control permits you to choose among 2400 to 4000 RPM, 4000 kicks out some massive air. Keeping the unit at 2400 RPM, sound is absorbed by surrounding case fans.Compact style makes it possible for you to construct a GPU 'Sandwich' for massive cooling. Blue LEDS do not match Coolmaster, Thermatake, HyperX, Nzxt, or any other blue leds I have used. Granted the color distinction is not dramatic it can be irritating to some. It DOES nonetheless match the typical cold cathode blue case lighting. Case Intake/Exhaust airflow supplemented with circulatory internal flow is the most vital thing, and generally the culprit, with any heating issues.

Got this to support keep my previous ATI X1950PRO video card temps below control (card employed to get very hot...almost certainly why it eventually died). Had it blasting directly to the underside of the card and it did not seem to assist temps considerably if at all. Took it out and put it into a box. A couple of months ago I took my crusty trusty old 9800PRO out of mothballs to put into a hand-me-down rig for my 7 year old son. 3D games kept producing the computer system entirely crash and shut down. Replaced energy supply, but kept happening. Decided to try the unused Antec fan on the video card. Similar setup blasting directly on the video card. The crashing challenge has all but total stopped. Yippee! I believe it depends on your setup if you will gain any benefit from this fan setup. My case with poor ventilation benefited far more from a slot exhaust fan to eliminate hot air from the box. Also, loud as sin on high. Preserve it set to medium+ and it does not get too loud. I wish you could alter direction the fans blow, but up is all you get.

This is the best slot cooler I have seen. The speed is adjustable. It covers the entire card length of just about any video card, and it works superior than the VGA fan that generally comes with the video card. When it's on high, it is noisy. I'm obtaining a lot more of this. It is just a wonderful cooling answer, assuming your case circulates air nicely.

This is the finest cooling fan for video cards, it is potent and quick as I thought it will be. Even thou the LED light is excellent it does fake away if you dont have great care of it or have a excellent power supply. I am running a 1200Watt energy supply from 750watt. Genuinely wonderful for cooling. Just loud a bit but that is all I will tell anyone if they are searching for a video card cooling, this is will the 1 for then at a terrific price.

Cons:The only critic I have is that it takes a PCI slot. If you run a SLI configuration and have a Sound Card...you might not have enough space to fit this that fan.

Pros:It looks nice with its blue leds if you have a clear case. I didn't expect this thing to come with a speed control at the back...nice! It pushes good amount of air (at maximum).

This thing is sweet. It looks nice with its blue leds if you have a clear case. I didn't expect this thing to come with a speed control at the back...nice! It pushes good amount of air (at maximum). This fan should be an add-on if you already have fans in your case pushing the air in and out. The only critic I have is that it takes a PCI slot. If you run a SLI configuration and have a Sound Card...you might not have enough space to fit this that fan. Check your motherboard and make sure you have enough space for it. However, if you have a single videocard setup, you should be fine.

Good quallity fan. Placed it beetween my video and sound card-not much air movement in this area. On low speed it is almost inaudiable.
