Extremely great, effortless to install, extremely cool if you buy it for a amd method. BE Sure TO GET THE ENZOTECH MOUNT kind s or x! or airflow will be from bottom to prime!!! instead of sideways....!!!

Ultra-quiet, and generally silent for the most component, even with the fan running practically-maxed. With a Phenom II X4 at a stock 3Ghz, Temps didn't go past 49 °C with IntelBurnTest at max, and with that said, the free of charge thermal paste appears to be quite great as effectively Enormous, the images don't do the size justice. By default, the AM2 mount only lets you position it fan-side up or down, and to point it left and proper, you require the crossbow mount. This is fairly significantly necessary if you have four sticks of RAM, as I had to move mine over to the subsequent two slots so it would fit. Installing the fan may possibly be annoying, as it requires the positioning of rubber mounts, which have to be vigorously-pulled into the fan mount holes They give you every other mount, so the crossbow should be included in this, taking into consideration there are tons of folks who will run into RAM spacing issues

Just built my new Computer, and I have to say that this heatsink was worth it. keeps my cpu at 26 degrees consistently. A bit massive. It blocked the DIMM slots on my motherboard, so I had to install the RAM initial and then the heatsink afterwards.

Good cooling more than stock AM2 fan/heat-sink. Dropped small below 20C off the idle and max temps (with mx-2 goop, phenom II x4 920 no oc). Little huge for mid tower situation. Please verify for ample room!!! I didn't take an egg off for this but I cannot use DIMM- on my mobo because the heat-sink and fan are over it. I run OCZ reaper memory with the extended heat pipes. Could feasible clear it if I had other memory.

This factor cools like a champ. I'm using to cool a 965BE OC'd to four.0ghz at 1.46v, temps from 35c-55c (idle to complete load range).Simple uncomplicated set up for AM3.PWM fan runs really quietly, even at full speed. (Mine under no circumstances gets to full speed working with ASUS Cool N' Quiet to handle fan speeds, but I have set it to full speed manually.) It's ugly. I imply, Actually ugly. Thankfully looks aren't everything. On AM3 you are forced to mount this fan so it's either blowing up or down. It would be good if there was a bracket or a back plate that would let you to orientate the fan to push air out of the back of the situation. Mine is installed to push hot air toward the prime of the case, but I'm certain this point would cool much better if it could be oriented to take advantage of the airflow direction of the situation.

The performance for the value is wonderful. Keeps my 15 760 @ 3.5 at the low 60 degree range through prime 95. It is not ridiculously large either. Installation is not idiot-proof, as I learned the difficult way. I damaged the push pins for the duration of installation and it would not seat adequately. My 760 was reaching 99 degrees at stock. Do oneself a favor and get the screw in mounting kit. Devote the 9 bucks now. It made all the difference for my create.

Not fairly as awesome as some individuals produced it out to be, but it cools my Phenom II X4 940 pretty good. Gave me sufficient head space to get up to three.4Ghz and max load temps only hit 51C. Was acquiring max load of 53C with my old Zalman 9500LED, but it didn't have what it took for this processor. The Xigmatech offers me idle temps around 39-40C at three.4Ghz, so not poor, but just before overclocking, it was only about 2-3C cooler at idle. Rather huge, and for AMD users you fairly a lot Ought to get the crossbow bracket for an additional บ to mount east/west so that it exhausts out of the back of the case. I am not a single who cares about noise, so I would in fact choose a fan with greater CFM than the 1 supplied. General a very good cooler, just disappointing to have to spend extra for mounting hardware that should be included. บ for a couple pieces of plastic and some screws is not expense successful.

I produce digital environments, which are fairly stressful on my personal computer. A lot of calculations and mathematics have to be processed. I mean, I am utilizing fractals to build landscapes more than 8 km. So my processors heat sink (stock) would kick in and make the space shake! It was loud! It stated receiving hot, and I could definitely see a efficiency drop. Then I got this beast, and my room is silent! My processor is cooler by practically 30 degrees, and I don't have to worry! I applied the thermal compound from xigmatek as effectively. I believe I'm a fan! Install was simple for me as nicely! Only took about 10 minutes, and most of that time I was cleaning dust out of my case. It's massive, which actually... if you know anything about electronics, then you will know that most CPU heatsinks are enormous, and you will opt for a larger case.Other than that, nothing. I'm using a AMD Phenom X4 965 BE, and have been using the stock cooler for pretty much a year and half now. This processor ran about 赀.00 and I got a LOT of efficiency out it. Over clocked to three.8 ghz with this heatsink.

The fan that comes with it is quiet. Keeps temps fairly low. Appears awesome, too. It blocks one particular RAM slot and is touching the stick in the second. Thankfully I don't will need all 4 slots. I didn't know which direction it would mount on my motherboard so I was afraid it would block the side panel fan. It mounts horizontally for me so no troubles. Depending on your motherboard and how wide your case is you could certainly have an situation.

Cools like a Popsicle! Attaches rapidly and effortlessly (AMD 955 black). Will most likely by no means know if it's sufficient, as the temp doesn't jump much more than a coupla C even below the heaviest of loads. It's OverAdequate! Just a little off the best... mmmmmaybe .3inch... please, just a tiny bit. Had to take away a fan to fit it, but then once again this point cools so nicely, who needs the other fan. just appears like a waste of a fan. With the side case fan attached, I could've completed filtering the entire household air provide in less than an hour. If time travels outwards from all positions at the speed of light, and one particular object travels at close to the speed of light, don't two diverse objects observe time dilation relative to every single other. Which object observes the fixed time reference when all velocities are relative to each other? Does this have something to do with universal mass relative velocity?

I bought this cooler, lead to the Toronto summer was injecting heat into my processor, and the stock heatsink was failing to help gaming. At 32 degrees outside (No AC), a game reached 55 degrees on medium settings. Now its at about 49 degrees at high setting. Also the fan speed was cut from 4300 rpm to 1500 rpm, awesome. My other 120mm case fan is louder than this. straightforward to clean Don't think i can place my case on, I keep it off anyways. blocks the closest ram slot, i have the phenom II 965, this cooler will fit if you dont use all ram slots, and if your stock heatsink fitMy temps would be even lower, if I didin't have to install the fan twice on the exact same thermal paste...my hands had been shaky.

CPU temperature outcomes when switching from Zalman 9500 to the Xigmatek:Idle: 54 C --> 39 CStressed: 66 C --> 49 CCPU: AMD 940 Phenom Socket AM2Mobo: Asus M2N-32SLI 1) Had a small tough time pulling rubber dampers by way of fan - applied a tiny lubricant.two) Took a handful of minutes to see that heat sink fin goes into the slit on every single fan damper. I will need to pull off the fan from my Antec 900 case to get the access cover on. I may possibly mount it externally to get the clearance required. Overall, I'm pleased & ready to OC the CPU & rerun temperature report.

Exceptional cooler and quiet also. I have had this cooler considering that 2008 and it does its job. It may not cool as well as some other brands, but it operates for my 2.4GHz quad core that is overclocked to three.1GHz. A bit massive of a device, but doesn't matter if you have a massive case. Push pins are fragile more than time. I moved and transported my personal computer in my automobile to reduce movement within it. Upon carrying out so 1 of the push pins broke. The phone number on Xigmatek's web page doesn't respond, their e-mail doesn't respond, and the phone number that Newegg provides is some other company. Even though this has a lifetime warranty..... if you can't get a hold of the company, what is the point?

Inexpensive and reliable Heat Sink and fan. Great cooling efficiency for it's cheap price.Works well with AMD FX60 oc'ed to 3ghz Keeps temperatures beneath 50's idle and ㅯ Load on my AMD PII940. Could use a fan with a greater Static pressure. (ie. so the air doesn't go over the best but although the tightly packed fins)AMD setup forces fan to be Pushing/pulling air to the Power Supply. instead of towards the Exhaust fan For the price. this is a Wonderful cooler to get.I've utilized this with Artic Silver MX.

Surprisingly effortless to install, quiet, and it lowered my load temp by 10 degrees more than the stock AMD cooler. Now below complete load I am running at 46 degrees Celsius. Also there is ample clearance for my Ballistix memory in the two slots closest to the processor. Its quite significant as other individuals have mentioned but effortlessly fit into my case. If you have a narrow case this will not fit. Also you will need a set of needle nose pliers or something similar to install the rubber fan mounts. Not a con but one thing worth mentioning. It was a quite easy install process for an AM3 motherboard. It's keeping my Phenom II x6 Much cooler than the stock fan with A lot much less noise. With the rebate, it was under twenty 5 bucks, so can't complain there. It didn't even spin up the fan for the 1st 4-5 minutes for me, so I believed I had installed it incorrect or it was broken. I had to do some Handbrake encoding to get the fan to kick in, but even then it was almost silent. Well worth the dollars. In truth, just order an OEM Phenom II x6 devoid of a processor if you can and commence with this fan. The rubber factors to attach the fan to the heatsink are a pain to get on with out some needle nose pliers or something, but the general effect (near silence) is worth it. It Definitely won't fit in modest instances. I have a full size case and it only has about 1ǚ" clearance. Ouch, the heatsink blades are SHARP! I nicked my knuckle pretty very good wrestling with the rubber thing.

Works as advertised (and reviewed), basic in design and extremely helpful. Low-cost value point specifically with the rebate. SOOOO significantly superior than stock coolers. Went from around 34c down to 20 and even 16c with no load. Under load is when it shines- overclocking this CPU and stock had it running over 70c and now it wont even breach 60c below Prime95. Wonderful cooler. Install was a pain. This guy is fairly large with the fan becoming the similar size as my case fan. The heatsink's are also fairly sharp so be careful! Not really the goods fault but be careful you use the specific bracket for your CPU socket. Right after 1st installing it (and the instructions are completely useless) my cpu was running 10c hotter than stock. Following a night of no sleep I pulled it apart and noticed on of the brackets had imprinted 񓒤" extremely faintly on it. If you have a LGA 775 then the brackets you use don't say something on them. Just a heads up!

Wonderful CPU Cooler. Keeps my E5200 at much less than 40C max load running at 3.62 ghz. Combined with arctic silver, awesome deal. :) The way the fan is set up is a tiny odd, directions are not incredibly clear on how to install it. Took an egg off for that. As most persons say, make confident you have space for this bad boy. I had to move a side panel fan mainly because the heat pipe recommendations were poking it. Barely fit ;)

Every little thing went fine although. when i figured out what to do, it was essentially not that poor to install on an AM3 slot.still, attaching the fan is ridiculous, -1 egg.

Good cooling. Quiet. I have this in two computers, each on AMD. The AMD installation is uncomplicated if you're familiar with the AMD clips at all. N/A I installed this in a Cosmos S complete tower and an Antec 300 mid tower. THIS Issue IS MajorIn Cosmos S, I had to remove the side fan. The antec 300 install was a little tough due to the fact you don't have significantly space to fit your hand in and lock the heatsink in. Nonetheless, it's totally attainable to install without removing the motherboard in each situations. If you're worried about this clearance above your RAM, don't. I use all 4 slots in both computers. The Heatsink is maybe 1.five mm above my RAM (even with heat spreaders).

Inexpensive esp. bundled with thermal greese n/a I currently had a superior then stock cooler but this cooler was touted as the finest air cooler. I honestly didn't discover a difference in temperature so I don't assume it was worth the upgrade. With that mentioned even so, it's better then the stock cooling alternative and is priced at a very good point so the value is there.
