Plugging it into the motherboard header is fine, and I can use the headphone jack and mic fine, but unplugging the headphone & mic from the front does not pass the audio signals to the rear ports like they are supposed to. I believe it might have to do with the motherboards need to connect pins five & 6 and pins 9 & ten on the audio out header in order for the signal to be sent to the rear audio ports. I havent tried the SATA port. I dont have an accessible header for it.
