Works as advertised, it was nice to see some audio pin-out configuration choices. Truly plug and play on an XP box. As mentioned, this is a little cheap looking for a better quality case, although it looks at home in a sub $40 case.

If you need an internal card reader and front audio, this is it. Of course, make sure you have TWO available usb headers, and a firewire header if you want the front firewire port. It also occupies a 5.25" bay, so be prepared to give up one of those too.

A very good price on a surprisingly fast flash card reader, the only problem I had is the internal USB connector for the card reader component had a defeat and had to be pushed rather hard to to connect with the pins, once that was fixed its worked great, even supports PSP Mem sticks.. which my OEM one did not.

I like that the unit has a place to plug almost everything into it but in order to use all of the capability, you need to have a lot of spare connections on your MoBo.

Like the idea to move all interface upfront instead of moving the tower frequently for interface. More importantly, it supports my SDHC 2.0 8GB card smoothly and quickly. Buying a e-sata external hard drive. I am sure it will work on this. All cables are labeled clearly with printed pin header, you will not go wrong with the connection with your motherboard manual. It is a great plus for me.

Started looking just for a card reader for my mother and her new digital camera when i saw this. It's perfect, as her computer has no front connectors. Before she had to pull the tower out to fiddle with connections. No more of that. I looked everywhere i could think of and this is by FAR teh best choice for me. And since i have no use for the esata and firewire, then cables can easily be taken off and/or tucked into the (cheapo)plastic casing. Super easy install, though i had a bit of touble threading a cable between the video card and CPU heatsink.I'll be sure to steal it once she upgrades to a laptop. One can never have enough usb connections. (that'll make 11 for me)By one so the next poor bastard to order one doesn't have to wait as long as i did, though i assume it was just poor timing on my part.For the few drawbacks I'd give it a 4-star rating, but the price more than makes up for it.5 stars!oh and the spare faceplate will be handy for my black case. The chip used in the reader have good speed, the bay instantly recognizes the card when plugged in, transfer rate is good too. The only drawback is the plastic mount which is not the best and you can only use the front screw because it is short. But for the price, it is good value

For the first aftermarket card reader I've ever bought, this one is perfect! Super easy to install and boasts more than enough ports. The included detachable silver faceplate is a nice touch for those who like their PC's to retain their color scheme. Also, the HD ready audio option is a must in today's new onboard audio motherboards.

All I wanted was a 5.25" SDHC reader... I got so much more. This thing has Firewire, eSATA, USB, front audio, and the standard card reader slots as well. I probably won't end up using most of these features but it's nice to have.

bought this to avoid the floppy adapter for the 900. all drivers installed on vista. hd audio is great. all the readers are actually faster then most readers available. can't wait for my 8gb microsd to arrive.
