Good for the Price
Comment:
Had for month now everything seems OK, was my first build so didn't want to risk allot of money. I like all the cool features but haven't used them all yet though, just glad its working. SLI worked, was suspicious at first because box was open upon receiving but everything ok, Phew.

works well
Comment:
Its been running for approximately 2 months now, no troubles. The only difficulty was the initial windows 7 install when setting up the RAID array. Make sure you have the proper drivers and be quick on the F6 key.

Best Motherboard I Have Built On
Comment:
I ran this board for 2 years plus. I'd leave my computer on for days without glitches. Great Board. Pros: Reliability. I would let this board power my space voyage to the moon and back. Good beginner board Cons: Layout. My two GTX 260s have no space between and they block 2 of the 4 sata ports. The bios is a little scattered and hard to navigate for overclock settings.

No problems for me.
Comment:
I don't know why others had problems. Mine worked first shot. The only thing I have a problem with that my video card fan covers one of the PCI slots after I install it. Other than that, it's awesome.

dont recommend if you want to use sli
Comment:
good card except that the mb sensor is located between the pci-e slots, so when you run sli, your system overheats. I bought it for sli, and am displeased with this product.

DOA Second time around
Comment:
The first board I got didn't boot up using different memory, different video cards, and different CPU's. I even tried outside the case to eliminate any grounding or improperly seated video card issues. I got a quick RMA and the second board works exactly as the first one, DOA. Let me think, should I be stupid and go through this all over again, or should I choose a different board?

ASUS P5N-D socket 775
Comment:
Worked right out of the box. Easily mounted 8W553 CPU cooler, BFG GeForce 9800GT. Backplate a big cheap and flimsy, but it worked. CMOS battery under first slot. Must remove card to clear CMOS. Lots of room to work. No problems as of this writing. I read other reviews and glad I went with FULL size ATX versus a micro-ATX. Used Intel E5300 Dual-core 2.6Ghz CPU. Playing Left 4 Dead 2 without an issue.

Excellent deal
Comment:
Love this board. I use an ASUS board at home, and have never had a problem. I built my uncle's computer using this board with win7 as the OS. It is great as a mid range MB, plenty of USB ports, easy to install in the case and despite other reviews about the connections reaching, I had absolutely no problems with them. You just need to make sure you connect the front panel after the board and expansions slots are installed for an easier experience.

I bought the combo Mobo & 750w PS
Comment:
So far so good, I suggest (like all mobo's) you keep it cool and it's been running like a champ for me. This is my back-up 680i mobo which I also bought from here, and both are going strong. I overclocked them both too nothing extreme but on the border (again using extra fans at least). I'd suggest this board to anyone looking for a nice base all around computer. And my products were shipped On-Time... And I never thanked them but I will now, thanks

Good value
Comment:
Bought this to build a replacement for a Dell that crapped out. I'm still running XP and I wanted the floppy drive capability. I wanted to set up a RAID system but the drivers have to be created on a floppy then loaded during OS installation. I could never get the driver floppy creation to work without errors. I tried from the onboard bios and from the included CD. Once I gave up on RAID and let XP load on one drive without RAID, I was able to create the floppy but I would have to start over from scratch now to set the RAID up. I may do that when I upgrade to Windows 7. Other than that, it was a good buid experience. All in all, I like the board.

I've built a number of machines and this was my 1st go with this brand of motherboard. Wow! I was impressed with the overall quality of this board. And little things like a really well made IO shield and the Q-Connector made it a snap to connect the front panel cabling. It's been up and running now for a couple of weeks. I've no complaints.

Not bad - once I got one that worked
Comment:
Bought this for a new system I was building - once everyting was installed I had a problem with the system randomly freezing during high-demand applications (dragon age: orgins) After a testing every other piece of hardware in that system, it turned out to be the mobo. Asus customer support was surprisingly good. I got an RMA and a replacement board with a minimum of hoop-jumping. New one works just fine.

BE WARNED!
Comment:
i had this mobo for around... 6 months... then bought and installed a a high end graphics card well, about 2 weeks later, i was playing a high demand game, and the system rebooted, i shut it down and opened the case to remove the graphics card to look at something, and it had MELTED IN AND RUINED THE SLOT! do NOT BUY THIS if you have a really high end GFX CARD! it WILL RUIN IT!

Great Performance but only 4 SATA Ports
Comment:
It has great performance but only 4 SATA ports for DVDs and Hard Drives. I had to buy an extra SATA card since I bought 2 DVD burners and 4 Hard Drives for a RAID array. I wish I would have shopped for a board with more room for expansion.

Defective
Comment:
I bought this board in december. Since then it's on it's third trip back to asus. At least this time they're sending me a new one. It wouldn't run graphics smootly. Everything runs great on my old setup. Sound didn't work correctly either. Maybe I'll like this mobo once I get one that works right.

Comment:
I bought 2 of these and they have been running non stop since I built them without any issues. I am running one with an E8400 CPU and one with an E4600 CPU both running Dual EVGA GeForce 9500 GT 1GB Video Cards and 4 gigs of ram with Windows 7 Professional 64BIT and these systems are rocking.
