CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:Mounting was a bit cumbersome.

Pros:Keeps my cpu nice and cool, small footprint.
Comment:
If you are looking for a fan driven cooling system for your CPU, look no further than the A50. Keeps my i3-2020 steady at 31 degrees.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:only one fan,can not add an additional fan

Pros:I was pleasantly surprised with their performance. Even though their design is simple, their cores are small, and their bases could have a better finish; they both did quite well for what I expected out of them
Comment:
Get this for free(after rebate), pretty good. The installation is simple, the footprint is small, the fans are changeable, and the price is right for their performance.

It is a very efficient cooler! for less than 2%$ it is worth the price! It's a little big but helped my i7-2700 to cool down from 70c to 50c

Keeps my AMD Phenom II X4 940 operating ice cold. This issue is Enormous! I had to take a cutoff saw and slice out a piece of my situation so this point would fit. Cooling fan does not bolt to the heatsink and lacks clearance among the fan and heatsink result in a Quite annoying noise. I had to stick a tiny plastic grommet among the heatsink and fan to quiet this factor down. If you have a mid or significant sized case then this will be a no brainer to acquire. I had it installed in a typical Gateway case when I upgraded from a AMD Phenom 8400 Triple Core to the AMD Phenom II X4 940 Quad Core and it just doesn't fit. I'm geared a lot more towards functionality rather of aesthetic appeal but it was nevertheless sort of annoying to have to take a cutoff saw to my personal computer case. Other than that this issue is running super cold, so I guess mission achieved.

Cons:size, noise

Pros:price, cooling ability.

Great cooler for the money. keeps my i7 2700k s 4.5 ghz at about 40-42 degrees. This thing is pretty huge as well, zero clearance on my board with corsair vengeance ram. a bit noisy, but that is to be expected from this size. comes with a resistor to limit fanspeed/noise.

My cpu was shutting down for no reason. When I found out it was my stock Intel fan that's wasn't working I ordered this in an hurry. From 105 Celsius (that's right celsius !!!) down to 44 celsius now for over a month. My cpu is always running, and I don't have any peak of heat.

Really affordable, I got this for บ on an additional web page (sorry egg it was a single of the couple of occasions you weren't the cheapest), cools pretty properly, I managed to four.81 GHz with my 2500k The fan it comes with is very loud With an aftermarket dual fan set-up it is a good cooler

Affordable, effective, and keeps my cpu awesome. My i5 is at about 52* below complete load oc'ed at three.6. Not truly a con but it is major. Is a tad louder that the stock fan. Some men and women are complaining about the lack of directions, actually? Its a pretty easy process. If I would have ordered on newegg I would have went with a unique sink/fan but I was impatient and purchased it locally. Honestly I do not regret this buy and recommend it.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:-this cooler is pretty low tech nowadays -can't do huge OC with this cooler

Pros:-Pretty silent -price/performance ratio is good
Comment:
Not a bad cooler but it's getting outdated a little... mounting system is easy to install and is fairly solid. The fan is alright and somewhat silent if used with the little cable that makes the fan spin slower (the little cable has a resistor so less power is delivered to the fan = fan spins slower = less noise). although it's a decent cooler i have seen corsair water cooler go on sale for 30$ so shop around and if you don't find anything else this is not a bad choice. get this if it goes on sale for 20$

Had a Intel stock fan and ran about 70'C.Now it runs almost 40'C with the Corsair A50.With 6 fans in my case, really cools down my PC.$25 is worth the price for its "Performance".

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:Attached fan is a little large (wide). Tight fit when using 4 sticks of ram

Pros:Good cooler. Fits nicely inside a Corsair Obsidian 650D Case.
Comment:
As mentioned, this is a really good cooler. Purchased on sale ($30) and was worth the price. However, on a LGA1155 Mobo, the width of the included fan makes a tight fit when using 4 sticks of ram. I get all 4 sticks to fit (G.Skill 1600mhz Ripsaw), but just something to keep in mind. Keep CPU ~27C idle.

Pros:Works greatAwesome value since I got it for $19.99

Despite the instructions missing key steps or details, I was able to get it installed myself. This sucker cools better than the coolit liquid cooler I used to run (which exploded on me). It's on sale all the time, and I happened to get it at $19.99. At that price, you can't go wrong.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:-Fan it comes with is somewhat noisy at high speed-Large

Pros:-Great cooling-Even better price
Comment:
For $25 on sale, easily one of the best coolers I've owned. I would love it if it came with a better fan, but it's easy enough to swap in your own. Make sure you check out your case measurements before buying this though, it fit inside my Bitfenix Raider no problem, but it would push the side panel on a smaller case.

Easy to install on Crosshair IV Formula. At 25% keeps CPU at ㅟ deg. C No mounting notches if yet another fan desired. (Push/Pull). Despite the fact that i need to be able to finagle something if I go that route.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Comment:
Good performance at a mid-range price. This factor manages to keep my overclocked Core i5-2500K CPU around 18-25C 90% of the time. The fan hums at an acceptable volume. Create top quality is fantastic, and the mounting hardware ensures a rock solid installation.Do NOT be overly concerned with no matter if it will fit in your situation. In a very good mid-tower situation from a trustworthy brand (Cooler Master, Antec, Corsair, etc.), this issue will fit with out significantly of a fuss. Nonetheless, always double check to make positive you've got the ideal dimensions for it - it is huge. But just hold in mind that, as opposed to what some here have said, you don't "need" a complete tower case for it to fit correctly. The orientation of the fan blocks access to one of my DIMM slots (Gigabyte P67-UD4 mobo). For the least fuss, make certain you install your RAM modules prior to installing the cooler. You may run into complications if you've got a DIMM with a tall heatsink in that slot. The installation guide included in the box is rubbish. The 1 on their web page is much superior, but that may not be significantly consolation to people today who don't have access to a different pc while installing it.Lastly, unless you have access to the CPU region on the back of your motherboard by means of the situation, make sure you install the back plate Before putting the motherboard in the situation. You don't need to have to completely install the cooler - just make positive all four legs are sticking by means of the holes before you screw the motherboard in. Reading some of the critiques on Newegg had e concerned that this point would be a pain to install, but outside of the crummy included directions, it was absolutely painless. Installation in an Intel-based board was straightford, when I looked up the much more detailed directions on their website. I managed to get it installed in a Cooler Master CM690 mid-tower situation with about an inch of clearance among the guidelines of the heatpipes and the side door of my case.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:Very difficult to install for AMD. Not sure about Intel installation but the supplied brackets for Intel looked cheap as well. Very tall and might not fit some cases.

Pros:Cools well.
Comment:
Very flimsy AMD clip. It is not secured at all and is difficult to align properly. It also tends to distort if not perfectly aligned with shallow groves in the base. That makes the heat sink slide far off center with the CPU. Heat sink base is not designed to fit AMD motherboard bracket so heat sink is difficult to center and tends to slide around easily, such as when installing the fan. If the AMD clamp is installed the wrong way around, the fan will not fit. Expected much better from Corsair, especially for $60. They could have provided a piece of metal to align the heat sink and stabilize the clamp for AMD CPUs but that might have cost an extra $0.10 to make. It's a good thing it was on sale for $20 because I would have felt ripped off otherwise. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-22-12 11:04 PM

-Slim enough that it fits on most motherboards devoid of a problem, RAM shouldnt get in the way. If it does, just flip the cooler and make it face the opposite way.-Keeps my i7 950 super cool-The price is proper-Quiet-two speeds to opt for from -Measuring about 16cm high, it is tall. You will want a complete tower to fit this poor boy.-Changing the RPM calls for making use of the wire adapter (which you will want to open your case to install)
