CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Comment:
This cooler is superior for avg. users. Workplace operate, gaming. But don't expect it to include the temps when U hit prime95. I have this installed on a i7-950 and it reduced the temp (compared to stock HSF) by 16 degrees. Kept it on 38. While gaming, surprisingly managed to maintain the temp beneath 45. I was surprised by that. So in each and every actual-world applications you can believe of, this is a fine cooler, specially when you consider the Price tag. No receiving around that excellent value. Not for more than-clocking i suppose. Prime 95 on a core i7-950 got to 65+ (at this point i stopped the program). Maybe it would have stayed on this temps, but I am too a lot of a nerd to let it go greater. For all "real individuals" - good cooler! Fantastic price.

Cons:Fan noise, It's not good or bad.

Pros:cooling, Direct touch heat pipes
Comment:
2600K oc to 4.8GHz, It will keep it under 73c for 4mins lol. 4.4GHz cool all day long. Well it peaked at 69c, Was jumping around between 60c & 66c with Prime95. Room temp was around 21~22c This Might be useless info I'm giving here. Good job for what I got it for.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:fan is noisy1155 installation mechanism is a pain

Pros:cheap! 20 bux on boxing day sale!
Comment:
The fan is noisy even at low speeds (basically anything above 1400 rpm) and the adjustable installation mechanism is a pain. Once its installed to problems though. Oh, and fan is 3 pin so some CPU fan headers might nto eb able to adjust its speed. Had tu plug mine in the casefan plus, which is fine.

Cons:Some boards and cases may leave you unable to install side panel or memory with heatsinks

Pros:Cools wellSolid designlarge fanEasy to install
Comment:
Installed quickly and came with thermal paste. Has kept my CPU at 30 degrees even with a slight overclock. The only issues I had was with memory I also purchased not fitting because of the heatsinks on them. Not a huge issue as I had other ram to use in the first dimm, but it did effect performance somewhat. Overall i am happy with it and was money well spent.

It keeps my 2500k cores at about 30C at idle and at 45C when using 3D Mark in a well ventilated case. I used CPUID Hardware Monitor for these readouts.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:won't work with larger RAM sticks

Pros:Price, huge fan, many heat pipes
Comment:
I bought this to replace my stock fan on my AMD machine. I was happy to find such a great deal when it went on sale for $20 so I grabbed it right away. Corsair being a great manufacturer of cooling product, I have no concerns.Once I went to install it, I was very dissapointed to see that my Raptor ram's heatsinks were too high to allow for installation. I had to either sacrifice a stick of RAM or sacrifice cooling. I kept the RAM. :)I gave the unit to my buddy for his machine as he has stock RAM and it's cooled his CPU 9 degrees lower at full load over his stock unit. I only wish it would have fit in my rig.

Keeps temps low. There is a temperature control in the form of an adapter, which I didn't know exists. It may well be a small loud, but come on... If you're buying an aftermarket cooler, you are gonna anticipate to have some sound.. It's profile isn't so smaller. It fits, with really modest clearance in my Antec 300 and a Gigabyte mobo.

Comment:
- The instructions on the manual had been so uncomplicated to install I didn't have to read the text on it. There're each text and pictures to help you install. - The AMD clip is one of the most easiest one I have utilized so far which doesn't demand me to use some piliers to aid me attach the clip.- It comes with two fans: 1 push and 1 pull- It comes with 3 low RPM fan adapters: two single fan adapters (I shape) and 1 dual fan adapter (Y shape) Minor con for Socket AMD AM2+, but I'm not confident if it nonetheless applies to socket AMD2 and AM3: I cannot run a push/pull (dual fans) since the deal with on the clip is blocking the installation of my second fan. I'm at the moment only employing 1 push fan; however, one fan is greater than no fan. Idle temperatures are anywhere around 32C to 40C depending on the ambient temperature. At 100% load, I seen it go as high as 48C to 54C. Please not my CPU fan is running at 1600 RPM by way of the fan adapter. This cooler is much larger than the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro. If I was able to run a dual fan or push/pull setup, the cooler would still fit perfectly fine in my computer case with the leading 200mm fan nevertheless intact.CASE: Thermaltake Element G Black ATX Mid TowerCASE FANS: 140mm rear, 200mm best, 2x 120mm front, 230mm side CPU: AMD Socket AM2+ Phenom II X4 920 2.8 Ghz (stock)CPU FAN: Corsair A70 (air cooler) with 1 120mm fanMOBO: ASUS M3N72-D AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 750a SLIRAM: G.SKILL 4GB ƒ x 2GB) DDR2 800PSU: Antec EarthWatts EA650 650WTough DRIVE: HITACHI Deskstar 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.five"OS: Windows 7 Qualified 64-bitGPU: MSI GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express DVD DRIVES: 2x DVD Burners

This cooler is freakin huge u deff need a full tower case in order to use the cooler. dropped my temps about 30 F.. only challenge i have is with my msi p55-cd53 is it tweaks the 1156 socket just adequate to give me a dilemma with my ram only becoming able to use half of it but this might give difficulties to other individuals just a heads up more or less.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:Not for even semi-serious overclocking. Covered up a ram slot on my 1155 board (not an issue for me as Im only using 2 of 4 ram slots but may be for someone else)

Pros:Much better than stock cooler, good value if caught on sale
Comment:
Bought 2 on sale for $20 each, one was put on a Phenom II 965 to replace the stock cooler, 20C drop  in temps right away and finally allowed me to overclock it.The other I put on a 2600K the chip has a lot of headroom but at 4.2ghz I am running 65C so I will have to wait to put a better cooler to go any further. That being said I bought this just to replace the stock intel cooler and it allowed me to gain 800mhz for $20. Wouldnt even think of buying at full price, much better coolers out there at that price range. This should be in the $30-$40 max price range IMO. Great deal if you catch it on sale.

Well Built, super simple to install (AMD) keeps my amd x6 cool. like everyone else has stated, she is fairly massive to make positive your case will fit it. It barley fits in my case; i had to eliminate my 80mm fan on my side panel so that i could close my case. I truly like this cooler, my idle temps are 21C and load is about 43C. I also have my amd x6 at 4Ghz. It also consists of a little tube of thermal paste, FYI.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:its loud and actually quiet bigis just a midrange heatsink

Pros:always seem to go on sale for $19.99better than the stock cooler
Comment:
Its definitely not the best air heatsink out there but when its on sale for $19.99 its by far the best deal. Even at 29.99 it would still be a descent deal. It does a descent job at keeping my second rig's cpu - a 2500k - in the mid 30's. My only beef its kinda loud, i would recommend the noctua heatsink if this is not on sale.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons:- Large- Fan can be difficult to install due to rubber fasteners

Pros:- Inexpensive- Moderately quiet with low noise adapter- Performs well
Comment:
I purchased this cooler for a Q6600 to improve temperatures at higher voltages. It does its job well and fits perfectly inside of my Antec 900. It's quite loud if the fan is left at full speed but there are low noise adapters included. Overall it greatly reduced temperatures, was pretty easy to install and was packaged nicely.

Comment:
Dropped my temps and allowed me to over-clock my e6600 33%. I am seeing 20c at idle and 40c at full load. Looks great in my corsair case. Cost is a couple dollars higher than some similar coolers. This cooler operates fantastic and looks wonderful in my Corsair 600 case. It blows the air straight out the back of the case, and there's an additional big fan correct on leading of it sucking even far more heat out.

30 degrees C less at load than the stock cooler I was working with on my Q6600. (stock cooler was getting near 80 C at load!)Having a brace and 8 screws securing the cooler is way better than utilizing push pins. None

Pros:Way better than a stock cooler.Simple construction and installation.Cheap.
Comment:
This is a great little CPU cooler - inexpensive and easy to install. Got mine on sale for $29 and it completely blows the stock cooler away. Even at $59 the performance is well worth the investment - especially if you're looking to experiment with some MODEST overclocking.
