CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: none

Pros: It's Corsair quite
Comment:
This is the first time I saw a Corsair CPU Cooler. They usually make good products. I bought it on sale for 15 bucks which is an amazing price for a full size CPU Cooler. works fine with my i7 920 and I will buy it again if it's back on that price.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: Fan speed are not adjustable on some board, even after the noise reduction adapter, it is still a bit noisy

Pros: Very good price to performance ratio, fairly easy to install.
Comment:
Bought this about 2 weeks ago, using it with an i5 2500k, even on the low noise 1600 rpm speed setting for the fan, I can archive 4.8 Ghz quite easily with 100% load on 75c.The sound is a tad high for my taste though so I lowered it to 1600, and then further reduces it with fan speed adapter came with the Fractual Design R2. On a P8P67, runs quite well.If you get it at $15, totally worth the price, at $60, you might want to considers paying a bit extra and get even more performance if your case have the room.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: the fan is kinda loud

Pros: keeps my cpu cool, thermal paste included
Comment:
Very good product for the price i paid, got it on sale for 20$. It even includes some thermal paste. This product should have a user manual more detailed lol, after i was done with the installation, i had some rubber grommets leftover and i didnt know if i had to keep the plastic sheet betwen the motheboard and the mounting bracket. Anyway very good cooler for a mid range cpu, way better then the stock intel heatsink

Pros: Price, bought it on sale, cooling ability, size ,fit my case. Easily installed on my AMD cpu & mobo
Comment:
I realy didn't need to put this in my build, just couldn't pass it up as price was so cheap at the time. It's in a home server I built and with the fan slowed down by the included adapter, it's very quite! Was very easy ti install would buy again!

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: The included fan is not a pwm fan

Pros: Corsair quality, easy instalation and runs so cool
Comment:
I keep looking out the door for the cops as I bought this on sale for $14.99 and feel like I stole it.Right from packaging to the super easy instalation I was impressed. I have only one complaint and that is that I always use 4pin pwm fan and this comes with 3 pin and a noise adapter. I replaced the fan with a high end pwm and its dead silent and cool and looks great inside the case. I would have to say this is my best purchase of the year

Great bang for buck performance. It may not be as good as CM Hyper 212+, but it can be had for half the price. Good enough for moderate OC.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: - No PWM fan connector

Pros: - Keeps unlocked / overclocked CPU cool
Comment:
Bought this to keep a triple core cool, in the hopes of unlocking and overclocking (worked). It's doing a great job and temps remained stable on prime95 stress tests.Came in at $9.99 +tax with the manufacturers rebate. A no brainer that's way better than stock and much better than other offerings at anywhere near this price. The unit is large though, so have at least a newer case for it. And trial fit it a few times to get your airflow and cables sorted. I had to pull mine out and clean / reapply the thermal paste before I had it to my liking.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: It's kinda big, but that's the way aftermarket coolers are.

Pros: Awesome cooling! Took my idle temp from and average of 42C to 31C and when gaming it's gone from mid 60's C to low 40'sC. Been using coretemp to keep an eye on it and the temp will occasionally go over 45C but has never been over 50C since installing this fan.Really easy to install and installation booklet is simple and easy to follow. Good quality component.
Comment:
I bought this to replace the stock cooler that came with my i5 2500k and I'm so glad I did. There was a $15 MiR at the time so for $20 I got an awesome cooler and the temps have dropped significantly. I have an NZXT case with a side window that had a fan attached to it but I had to remove it cause I couldn't close the case up anymore as this cooler stands so tall in my case. I guess I could have spun the cooler from facing east west to north south and it would fit but this thing works so well it's not an issue to get rid of the fan in the side window. Some people and reviews are down on this cause it only has three pipes and 4 or more seems to be the standard now, but it has worked fantastically for me. If you don't want to spend a ton of money and want a really good cooler then this is the one.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: The mounting backplate has some issues when mounting onto LGA1155 and LGA1156 motherboards. Not sure if its just my backplate, but the holes for the 1155 socket aren't that precise for 1 of the 4 mounts and required a bit of jiggling to get through.

Pros: Nice design makes it an effective heatsink that won't give you too much trouble fitting unless you have a really tight case. That's not to say it isn't big, just that its not oversized and look like it will rip your motheboard in half along with it if it isn't properly secured. The fan is a nice one that moves a lot of air, albeit not as quiet as I would have liked.
Comment:
Overall, nice heatsink for cooling that precious cpu of yours. I replaced the fan it came with using some Gentle Typhoon 1450rpm fans I bought earlier and found it quieter and just as effective at moving air.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: none so far

Pros: Very QuietVery good performance.
Comment:
Love this cooler. It is extremely quiet even under load and the performance is great too. Was able to overclock push my 760 to 3.1 without too much hassle. It is a very big cooler though, so make sure you get a big case. Had a bit of trouble installing it, but it was just a mistake from me. Anyway, definitely recommended.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: -No PWM. The fan is 3-pin.-Applying thermal paste for direct heatipe (HDT) is less than intuitive.-People with 4 RAM sticks may run into clearance issues.-Expensive normally

Pros: -Cools well-Comes with resistors that lower fan voltage-It was cheap on boxing day-Installation (except TIM application) was easy-Surprisingly light-Well built. Does not feel like it will fall apart.
Comment:
I would have preferred a PWM fan instead of 3-pin, so that the fan is quiet when the computer idle and only ramps up when it needs to. Some enthusiasts prefer hooking up their 3-pin fans to a fan controller, but I'm not of that sort. This cooler cools better than my stock aluminum-chunk AMD heatsink, but that's to be expected of something that is more than twice as large. (Temps dropped ~14c on load if anyone is wondering)I'd be raging if it didn't cool better than my stock cooler. Ha ha.The thermal paste application process for direct heatpipe (HDT) coolers is not the same as a regular base cooler. The "rice grain dot" method doesn't allow for proper contact with all the heat pipes, so the user has to resort to spreading. I don't like spreading because it can introduce minute air bubbles into the thermal paste - the very bubbles thermal paste is supposed to fill in. My experience with HDT coolers in the past has shown temperature variances of up to 5c with every different application because of this. This cooler is no different. It's annoying to have to reseat multiple times to get optimal performance.I only have 2 sticks of RAM, so I don't have clearance issues with this cooler. A person with 4 sticks might have clearance issues if they use RAM with tall heatspreaders. The fan for this cooler hangs over the 1st RAM slot on my board.I would never buy this thing at its regular $60(!) price. The performance, although good, is not spectacular at that price point.Enough negativity though. This cooler is a quality product that I'm sure will last for years if not abused. The fins are not flimsy or loose and the fan wires and resistors are sleeved quite nicely.

CORSAIR CAFA50 120mm CPU Cooler
Cons: -none yet

Pros: -Multiple fan settings-Easy to install-Comes with CPU paste
Comment:
THis is a fantastic cooling device, the temperature of the CPU is very low (under minimal stress). The installation was very easy, however, I recommend the owner read the manual to familiarize with the process. The fan has two settings, high and low. To adjust the settings, the PC has to be powered down unfortunately.
