Cooling Beast
Comment:
A little on the pricey side but performs as advertised. Cools my intel i5 OC'd to 3.8, running Prime95 wont raise temps above 46 degrees C. A couple of issues you should be aware of, it is massive hunk of hardware (barely fits full tower ATX) and you have to remove your MOBO to install. aside from that awsome!

Simply the Best!
Comment:
This little thing (did i say little?) is just simply awesome. Just bought mine had no problems with the size, my CPU is overclocked and this beast just keeps it at a low perfect 25-30 C. Best CPU cooler i have bought thus far.

good buy

Works very well have had no problems at all. Keeps the machine very col runs very quiet. The only cons I have with this product is the size it can make it hard to install certain items or impossible to install in a smaller case.

Works Great
Comment:
I bought this for my Dual Core e8400 and was questionable about rather it would fit in my NZXT Apollo mid tower case. Surprisingly it did fit with some headspace left over. I have been using the stock cooler and thermal compound that came with the e8400 for a long time, in that time I would see temperatures go over 65C at load. I installed this heatsink fan and used the thermal compound that came with it and Now even after I OC my e8400 to 3.6ghz I haven't yet seen my temps go over 56C. I highly suggest this for overclocking. Cons: I had to remove all my internal connectors and everything connected to the motherboard then take the board out to install this. But I find it really reasonable to have a support bracket on the reverse side of the board because this beast is BIG. Great Product

Great for OC
Comment:
I OC'ed a Q9550 2.83ghz to 3.7ghz with this air cooled fan and keeps the CPU 71C at full charge. Before the V8 i was using the OCZ Vindicator and the most i reached was 3.6ghz and 90C. I think i can get 4.0ghz with the V8. Great option for cooling your CPU with almost same results as liquid systems

ok, for standard cooling
Comment:
This cooler was ok brough my temps down from the standard cooler. I was OC i7 920 and it wasn't sufficient to keep the processor cool enough to over clock it. My temps were about 85 c oc at 3.8 Mhz. I ended up getting a different cooler that actually cooled at about 10-15 c cooler

Got this for an overclocked i7, and it works great! Very quiet, even at high speed, and the back panel control was a nice extra.

Drink Cooler.
Comment:
I picked this beasty up to keep my machine cool and it more than exceeds my expectations. Due to the size of this monster I had to mount my side panel fan on the outside of my case, but if you set you drink next to the fan it will never get warm. For it's size it is suprizingly quiet. I am very please with the purchase and the perfomance.

The best cooler I have had yet!
Comment:
Don't be fooled, this thing is a big as a V8! And runs nice and smooth. Very quiet and there is a COOL breeze coming out of the back of my case. Great preformance. You have to remove your motherboard to install and it will reach the other side of the case. It will fit, make sure you dont have any fans on the cover of your case. I would recommend this cooler very highly.

Cons:Big!

Pros:Big! Looks very cool. I'm a sucker for this stuff! Keeps the cpu cool. Fan located in center of radiators.

This has to be one of the nicest looking CPU coolers out there. I swear my case almost took off like a dragster when I turned on the machine :-) Oh, and it works well too!

Impressive Product
Comment:
When I ordered this product I read several reviews. Most of the positive reviews were right on. One thing that was over looked was the size of this monster. This thing is big, but works like a champ. I installed it on an AM3 motherboard in a Mid Tower case and it wasn't a problem, it did fill up the depth of the case from the motherboard to the side cover and I had to remove a venting duct that would have been used for the stock fan. I reinstalled the grill with some other fasteners, and it looks great. Nice red glow coming from it. I have finished the new build and it works great, keeping the case at a nice 82F or 28C. Do read the instruction completely and follow them. All the hardware was good quality, and went together well. Remember you HAVE to take the motherboard out to install, or make sure you install it prior to mounting the mother board. Overall great product, works as advertised.

Whoa mama
Comment:
It's big... but it works. Keeps everything cool. It's quiet. Surprisingly light for its size. Install was a snap. TEC that comes with is blah, would advise something top-tier to make sure it can do its job well. Silver compound I used works great. The controller that comes with cannot be removed, don't bother tearing it apart. You either have to hang it in your case or install the back panel PCI cover. For use with Q-Fan or on-board fan control: set to high and let the controller do the job. Can't really see the Red LEDs on the fan, looks cool anyway. HAF case is a perfect match.

Installed on i7-920,EVGA X58 SLI LE in a Cooler Master CM 690 Nvidia edition. Instructions ok, Youtube a bit more helpful in installing. Does look cool peeking out of the side window on the CM case, idle temp at 21C. Quiet too.

Not to impressed
Comment:
Features and Quality Great as always with Cooler Master well built, nice looking, but after reading all the hype and good reviews not really that impressed after installing it. I upgraded to a Phenom II X4 940 a 125W CPU, I was running a Cooler Master Hyper Z600R which is only rated at 89W unless running 120mm fan or fans, so I installed a 120mm fan temps at 35-36 range idle at 3.6. I figured I better not chance it and upgrade to a cooler that was actually rated at or above my current CPU or 125W the V8 is rated to 180W I figure cool this is what I need install it and fire it up and temps are exactly the same at idle and load or within (1) so basically I purchased a new CPU cooler that I thought was going to Perform Better than a previous model at half the price but I was mistaken so if you have a Z600R better study some more before upgrading because I can not see any difference between the 2 running 1 120mm fan except for the price and looks.

Great Cooler
Comment:
Great cooler! Seems to keep everything nice and cool. Not to loud at 100 percent fan speed. One thing to keep in mind when you go to mount this cooler to the motherboard make sure that you have not already installed it. Comes with a brack that replaces the stock mounting bracket. I have mine in a Coolermaster HAF 932 limited Edition and it fits nicely.

Looks good in the case. But be careful this cooler needs a big case. I'm using a HAF 932. brought my temp down.
