I wanted to make a clarification from my current assessment as I pointed out there wasn't an 8 cpu pin extender. On the other hand Corsair DID deliver 1. I originally attempted to attach it to the energy supply end (and figured I didn't have the perfect connector) when in fact the extender in reality plugs in straight to the cpu power on the mobo! So its not a con at all, user error possibly. none

Corsair designs cases that are very well thought out and this one is no exception. It has watercooling in mind and I have been able to fit a custom water loop in this case.

There is a partition between the motherboard and back pannel so that you can thread your cables in the back, out of the way. Lots of space of course. This is quite useful when you have large vid cards. Many bays for drives. The air flow is intended to be from bottom to best. There is a filter on the bottom to permit air in. On the other hand, to clean the filter you have to take away it from the back of the case. The case is major and heavy so moving the case out every few weeks to clean the filter is a discomfort. Wish you could access it from the front. Not a huge deal but a thing to feel about when deciding upon where you put it. It is also tall to fit below most desks so plan on placing it on the side of your desk. The videos on the manufacture's internet web page are beneficial to anybody new to developing a computer system.

The case is wonderful searching and came with no scratches or dings. Thanks Newegg. You have tons of space in this case, and cable routing is simple as pie, which offers my rig a very clean, no clutter look. Poor airflow. This case appears to be produced much more for WC than air. You will need to install three fans at the best, and I have also installed a Kama Bay 5.25 bay 120mm fan for added airflow. A little bigger than I thought it would be. This thing is a beast. But all round I am satisfied for the buy.

Love this product. It was my dream case (sounds funny doesn't it?). But yea it's the only case where i've seen and fell in love with it right away. I love how easy installing everything is, and the parts look great without all the clutter. Although big, it leaves room for improvement, excellent product.

It has good air flow around the CPU. There is a lot of room about the motherboard to function about in. The case is quite sturdy. I could throw it down the stairs and I would be worried additional for the stairs. Terrible cooling for Hard drives. It comes with a fan for the bay drives but the air has no where to go except for the back compartment where all the wires are stored, generating it hard for the air to escape.You can also set up a fan for the bottom two drives bays. But once more very same problem air flows no exactly where. There isn't substantially air flow to the pci cards either. Not as negative as the challenging drive bays but not great either. To attempt and keep within newegg suggestions I'll just say this: You could want to invest in some cutting tools. The front USB ports looks like a 5 1ǚ bay, but it isn't. You can't move it. Not a big deal, but just gets annoying when your USB cables get stuck on the side of your cd tray when closing. With all the hacking I had to do to make this case function, I paid too much.Newegg was wonderful shipping this product out and I had no difficulty with Neweggs service.

SUPER ROOMY and this thing has ample amounts of cooling stock. Read the spec sheet or even greater yet look up the review video for it and just watch him list off all the fantastic items about this situation. Nearly total metal construction, hot swap bays x4, door release buttons, cable managment like no other, lots of areas for fans, and plenty of room for every thing. Oh yeah and a great window so you can appear at all your neat stuff inside and since the cable management is so excellent it truly looks very good !!!!! Not genuinely a con but considering that I have to compose some thing here - This issue is big, greatest situation I've ever owned! It was completely expected though and as stated above it does have room to spare for every thing you can assume of putting in it. It makes my GTX285 appear tiny LoL. If you want a case that ultimately just functions, has anything you can consider of to make you content what are you waiting for this situation does it all and it looks excellent performing it.

You should know that going into it.(read the specs) Super straightforward to function on you can nearly crawl inside and sit down.Good wire management., the finest I have observed.Stuffed this with high out-put fans and it stays cool. The orientation of the expansion slots exactly where the cards mount is higher.None of my cards will seat all the way down into the mobo.I needed to get slightly taller stand-offs for the board. Hands down the greatest situation I've even had the pleasure of making in. Cable management is a dream; compartmentalizing of crucial elements which include discrete air flow is both brilliant and uncomplicated, extensive accommodations for any sort of water cooling and a four slot hot swappable tough drive bay with included cables and cable management method sets a new 'highest typical' in case design. They seriously did think of anything. Cost; to me this situation is worth each penny, you actually do get what you spend for, but for some, this situation could be a bit over kill which brings me to . . . IT IS Major. As it turns out I essentially like the modifications I had to make in my common work region to accommodate this case, but for some, this case may overwhelm available space. I've never ever been a fan of 'tool-less' mounting systems for the 5.25 bays, they typically make the installation of anything smaller than an optical drive complicated to not possible typically leaving them 'loose', but so far the program on this situation has been functioning well, but nevertheless a bit of a installation challenge. For the price tag, you assume they could have included a 120mm fan for the two tricky drive bay. I've had this case for nearly 4 months now and I nonetheless smile a bit whenever I look at it. With no a doubt, I will still be working with this situation for my newest builds for decades to come.

I love this case, i built a whole new computer using this case and it looks great. The cable management is wonderful, especially with my modular power supply. this case has lots of room to put whatever you want inside and the hotswap hard drive bays are nice. I think there could be a bit more room on the outside for cables because with some of the connectors getting stuck in there it make it bend a tad, but its no big deal. All in all, im very happy with this case. i understand its pricey, but its VERY worth it.

This case is incredibly well layed out, has tons of functions like the hotswap drive bays and cable managment gromets.The side window pannel is incredibly good, shows off my awesome construct, and it lets me look inside at my RE3 to make certain there's no crazy voltage modifications going on :) Some people today have complained about airflow, but I don't have any problems, I left the back 140 exhaust fan in location and mounted my H70 on the major back 120 fan opening.The other fan openings are open, but if I need to have to I can add two additional exhast fans there.It's not as quiet as my Antec with sound dentening, but you can often add sound dentening components to the case if you want to dampen the sound. This is a huge case, so make certain you have the room for it. I dont' truly have it, but I wanted it anyways, so it sits subsequent to my desk not below it lol.Also, there's lots of room to perform in the case, I also have a Antec P180 Mini, wow, that factor can fit inside this 1 LOL

Every little thing about it. It has space to grow. let you know if I find one particular. It has space for every little thing I need to have. and can strategy for the next time I up grade. Yes it has a hefty cost tag but I dont see myself purchasing a new case the subsequent time I upgrade. It can manage and has room for alot of stuff. Plenty of space and wonderful looks. Great cable management and great modern construction. This case was nicely believed out and developed. I have had a lot of instances all through the years (Aerocool, Thermaltake, Antec 900, 1200, Coolermaster Cosmos, and numerous others) but this case exceeds just about all my expectations. The hot swap bays do not function with SATA III. I'm not sure if it's just my case, but no matter where I put my SATA III WD 1T drive in the hot swap bays, it does not perform effectively. I had to bypass the hot swap bays and employed the decrease bays instead for it to perform effectively. I believe the small circuit boards behind the hot swap were not created for SATA III. The case is very hefty, even empty. Overall this case is the ideal I've had. It has it's flaws, but absolutely nothing is best, and we all define what perfection is to us. To me, this is the excellent case.

My case arrived with a cracked window in the side panel. It took about two weeks but the new panel is on its way. The RMA method with Corsair was simple, thanks Joseph.I have not had any issues with air cooling. In addition to the three stock case fans that come with the case. I am utilizing:COOLER MASTER Hyper N 520 RR-920-N520-GP 92mm Sleeve CPU Coolerand 3 Scythe S-FLEX SFF21D 120mm in the spots on top rated.The hottest component on the MB is the Northbridge which has no fan on it and is covered by the GPU. The back plates to the hot-swap drive are incompatible with SATA 6Gb/s interface. Didn't know that prior to I bought my hdd's. Oh effectively, there's two additional hdd slots beneath these so no massive deal. I have an i7 920 overclocked with an H50 cooler, 12 gigs of ram, till recently a GTX 260, and my ambient temps inside the case had been effectively inside comfortable temps. I've owned quite a few instances ahead of but the Corsair 800D is by far the ideal seeking case IMO. The case is solid with lots of space for future upgrades. There's just as well a lot of pro's for me to to create. None Purchase it, you won't be regret it.
