This case is a dream. Spacious, plentiful cable routing options - you seriously have to put some effort into undertaking a sloppy cabling job, it's practically impossible with all of the grommets and cable pass-throughs. I completely Love the front hotswap bays - that was one of my primary causes for buying the case.This is the ideal case I've ever purchased, and I've been recognized to drop a fair quantity of adjust on situations in the past - Supermicro, Antec P180, and Lian Li situations. This is one to rule them allI give it four.five of five eggs The front hot-swap bay door is a small flimsy. Only Sata-II hot-swap bays. The lower (non hot-swap) difficult drive rails are lengthy with no clips in the middle, and as such do not fit something other than HDDs, which created it one thing of a discomfort to mount my two.five SSD. I ended up mounting it in 1 of the five.25 bays. Extremely roomy and cooling is exceptional. Anything you need to have. It's big. Been operating for awhile with this case and never ever have heating concerns. With 2 5970 running in xfire seems like it was a good selection. Not genuinely a con, but right after putting every little thing in, I could not carry this factor by myself. Threw my back out attempting to carry this the 1st time. I'm not really big guy( hey I'm a comp geek) so carrying this thing is a pain. Lan party, effectively you far better be hosting. I purchased this case for my updated gaming build at the end of August 2011. I did some modification to allow a 360 radiator and 240 radiator fit inside with everything needed. This has been my first case that had the built in cable management and it was definitely a load off not having to struggle to find routing for my cables, or have to create  new holes just for cables. The case was easy to work with, the feet make it very stable but it's not as heavy as one would think. I don't use every feature that the case had to offer as I removed some stuff to fit watercooling, but for what I needed it for it worked out great. Overall, this case will be my last for the next 7-8 years because I'll have plenty of room to upgrade and work with. Glad I went with this case because it's actually a lot more quiet than my previous fractal case.Cons made it suck a bit though.

Case arrived in best condition, packing materials properly organized.Really large style makes it possible for running tri-SLI, larger power supplies, a lot of space for many optical drives, three.5" drives, and so on.Space behind motherboard has a lot of room for cabling, removable cover behind CPU makes changing/installing backplates a breeze.Had plenty of space obtainable to set up watercooling, with easy tubing arrangements. Some plastic components, easy to knock off cover of swappable HDD bays, lower three.five" bay.The huge con - airflow: Unless you water-cool your northbridge/southbridge (I just do GPUs and CPU) components, the airflow from the stock fans is not excellent. I have had to fiddle/modify this a lot to get a thing acceptable, which necessary having to generate custom intake filters. Overall, an outstanding case and a joy to function with, but airflow has to be regarded as for greater end builds/overclocking/lots of components.Make certain your PSU cables are extended sufficient to reach almost everything ... short cables could have trouble reaching crucial components, specially if you like clean cable management.

nice with Hydro H70case itself is the Greatestlooks and feels good/clean/ NOT cheaply created wish there 's choice to switch hot swappable bay connector to sata III connector. there was missing parts inside the package, but corsair sent me all the missing parts, no question asked.Not only they have the ideal merchandise, they also have THE Finest consumer support and A/S.

This case is freaking large! If your a casual computer system user like myself this case could be the last case you will ever own. Amazing cable management. Four hot-swap drive bays. Tool much less installation(for the most portion), and it comes with 3 large 140mm fans. The only bad factor that I could point out about this case is the cooling. If your running this case default straight out of the box then prepare to burned due to the fact it gets hot! Do yourself a favor and invest in a couple of case fans or a radiator.

Effortlessly the best pc case I've ever owned. So significantly space and the capacity to funnel all cables and wires out of the way makes it possible for for good airflow.Pros:- Massive amount of room.- Superb cable management selections.- Uncomplicated to add and remove hard drives via the front bay.- No sharp corners, a plus compared to many older circumstances.- Pleasing aesthetics, it's simple but very smooth looking.- A lot of expansion slots (I have a blu-ray player and two fan controllers and nonetheless plenty of space for additional).- Two separated challenging drive cages. High quality! Size...plenty of space for cooling possibilities, great airflow, & a spare bedroom for when my in-laws check out. Good cable management...I enjoy the the space for operating cables on the back (right Panel). Every thing is easy to configure and get to. Did not come with USB3. on the front panel (upgrade obtainable: http://www.corsair.com/cases/case-accessories/obsidian-series-800d-700d-front-panel-usb-3--upgrade-kit.html). The SATA Backplane is not compatible with SATA3 ƖGb/s). I set almost everything up only get get IO errors when attempting to read the SATA3 drives (my fault for not researching...). I contacted Corsair...waiting to hear if they are operating on a SATA3 Backplane upgrade. The USB3. front panel & SATA3 compatibility must be regular for the price of this case. I'm certain it will be once their existing inventory is gone. If you are air cooling like myself, it is recommended to use pressure positive air circulation for the case.Extra fan on top have to all pull the air inside the case for getting decent temperature for all parts.

This is by far the best case I've ever seen and used. I've just setup a brilliantly clean build with terrific cable management. This case is a must have if you're looking at something extremely solid and have the budget for.

Huge case has sufficient room for any size mobo. Cable management is a breeze and front panel has plenty of usb's Hot swap drive bays are most likely the greatest function on the case. Comes with three 140mm fans which are fantastic for cooling. The spaces you have to run the sata cables from your hot swap drive bays is really tight if you intend on putting the plastic shield back over it for a good look to the rest of the case. No usb 3. on the front panel. The plexyglass cover came with minor cracks at the points where it was drilled onto the door but no biggie. With a massive case like this there is a big price. If you are looking for a giant case with great air flow look no further. If you are going to be installing a water cooling radiator then this is the case for you there are three 120 mm fan trays on the leading of the case which would be ideal for a rad.

I bought this case because i wanted to upgrade to water cooling and let me tell you this is the best case i have ever had. All the space is great, cable management is the best I have ever seen. The brushed aluminum front is very slick. Only thing is i would not recommend this case if your going to air cool.

This thing is completely future proof!!! There is so substantially room inside that if I took all the supports and everything out I could fit my old case in it and have about 8 inches of room to spare. Cable management in this case is what sets it apart, perhaps the huge guys will look at what Corsair did and listen to their buyers. Perfect for watercooling. HEAVY!!!!!!!!!My shipping weight was 42.80lbs just to give you an notion how crazy heavy this is. Full steel physique with an aluminum face plate that does not have rounded edges. I have torn up my knee due to the really sharp corners! Like other people have sad the stock fans do not push incredibly substantially air but come on they are factory fans! Not really a con but the energy light is white and extremely bright, kind of cool due it becoming unique from the typical green/blue. Wish it had a dust filter on the three 120mm fan openings at the top but getting one isn't too large of a hassle. Regret not obtaining it from my beloved EGG but identified it slightly less expensive. The aluminum door that covers the difficult drive bays on the front is rather cheaply made, difficult to open/close. Could have maybe performed a little fine tuning but nothing to take an egg off!! The Corsair logo at the bottom is actually sensitive to coming off with the plastic covering so BE Careful!!Overall the greatest case and in all probability the last case I will ever buy. I have had only one other case and I very doubt I obtain an additional!!!

Big case! I expected huge... but wow. I know everybody has mentioned that, but seeing it up close is various. Cable management is amazing with every thing routing thru the back section. Stock fans are working well (have 1 cpu for now and 16GB, 4 HD, 1000W ps - - CPU temps at 58C immediately after extensive 3D rendering where all cores pegged at 100%) I will most likely add some additional cooling options when I install second CPU/memory. Use the system at work, but for extended weekends I'll haul it home... Hauling this box is work! Completely loaded it is heavy, but that's what I want in a case... solid construction so, oh well. Tool-much less drive bay mechanisms are a bit wimpy but don't forsee an concern if I treat them with care Ordering extra drive holders from Corsair (hint... newegg ought to carry ;-) installed ASUS KGPE-D16 dual cpu board (big MB)... had to drill two new holes for MB supports in spite of the quite a few choices this case had already.I'd acquire this case once more!

The first time you see this case you fall in love. It's big, black and beautiful. If you've ever cursed the cramped quarters in your existing case you'll never do this in the Obsidian.The cable management is stellar. All cables can be tucked away behind the right panel (face on) and there is enough room at the bottom, front area to shove in an SSD (I did). NCIX is selling the model with the SATAIII hot-swap bay. I love this case. It was expensive but it's money very well spent.

Terrific case!. Can not say sufficient about it. Room is outstanding and will go very will with my up and coming watercooling develop. plastic snaps for the SATA covers and 140mm cover really feel alittle cheap. Hopefully they will not break off uncomplicated immediately after some use. Overall that is my only complaint.

Extremely significant, plenty of room for any toys you want to put in the case, along with stuff you don't need to have! I read that it was huge, and even read the dimensions, but the immenseness did not hit home until I in fact saw this beast.Best cable management I've observed in an unmodded case.Very sturdy, the case feels like you could run it over with a tank and still have a functional machine inside of it.Very aesthetically pleasing. If you like a more conservative, yet stylish case this is for you. If you prefer a case that looks like it would impale you if you touched it, appear elsewhere. Heavy and cumbersome to move (luckily I don't want to move it usually). You are fundamentally required to max out the fans in the machine (total of 7 with no mods) if you want good air cooling -- A lot of room for good liquid cooling method, although. The fan guard for the HD fan feels a bit flimsy.For people today who like to put their machine next to their monitor, it could use some anti-glare coating on the clear side panel.To be honest, all the above is nitpicking....I Love this case. Greatest I've ever owned. It cannot be emphasized how big this case is. I have a mini-fridge that came in a smaller box.If you are seeking for a fantastic case that will most likely last until a nuclear holocaust, this is it.

Style,overall quantity of space to function with.Cable management is (IMO) is absolutely flawless,best case for that.Airflow is great.Enthusiest characteristics(for expansion or watercooling). Font bay for resoirvoir is a plus.Case is produced to last. Not going to take an egg off for this but it would have been good for a few additional expansion slots.Additional people today are loading up their motherboards to the max,but not seriously a must requirement. Adding a few a lot more expansion slots would have been nice because with watercooling added,you could run 4 way SLI or cards with oversized coolers,but thats neither here nor there.Not a con but would have been good.

- spacious- fan filters- layout- simple / plain look- effortless removal of 4 extra challenging drives (hot swap bays) - rattling from each corner...- thin doors, two situations bought, two had slightly bent doors- oil / grease on hinges (nasty stuff) was only on one of mine- inexpensive plastic covers that do not settle in location secure enough- paint job on the doors is terribly thin, extremely light paint, you can eliminate the paint by scratching over it with your finger nail practically. no joke i wasnt really impressed as each situations arrived by the size, not on the other hand by having to bend doors back as they were slightly bent, one of my instances had grease or some sort of gunk in the hinge region of it. very incredibly thin paint / powder coating job, not seriously expected in this cost range either. certain enough, i went ahead and sold each of my instances for something greater quality, 1 x nzxt phantom, 1 x nzxt m59, both the nzxt instances are surprisingly a much better built good quality.but hey, this is my personal impression of the item sold here, its definatly not worth anyplace near 250 dollars, need to be priced in the 200 dollar segment, only due to hot swap bays present, otherwise should be sub 180... my two cents. take it for what you think its worth.
