Significant and spacious.Uncomplicated to develop your program into.Very good finish.Good base for modders. It's not "flashy" out of the box. If you're looking for a situation to impress your buddies, this may not be the 1 for you (although the size alone might do it). Not truly a con, but ideal for men and women to be conscious. If, you know, the photos for Newegg supplied weren't sufficient. If you're going to go the liquid-cooling route, this case is designed to make the setup effortless as well as optimal.

Cavernous primary compartmentmakes an ATX or even EATX board look like a Micro MB, Finest cable management design of the 3 systems I have built by far, Plenty of drive bays and alternatives for cooling layouts. Fits 3X120 watercooling radiators in three diverse configurations based on your preferences, top excellent doors, filtration, situation finish and total flexibility on component layout. Did I mention 4 hot swapable sata drive bays with backplane behind the front door!!! a single button drive access from the front! Steel is heavy but nicely worth the strength for a full tower, Could have employed 1 more external drive bay for Blue Ray Disc or 2nd DVDRW right after using two for a fan controler unit on DVDRW, front pannel sound interface and a radiator temp sensor. Reall absolutely nothing to complain about. Definately not a lan party situation but it's monolithic appearance is ultra classy and beggs to be stared at the moment it's filled with the finest goodies you can place together. I would advise this case to any person with a critical construct in mind.

First off, amazing look. I was going for a professional yet awesome-gamer-look case, and I got exactly that with the 800D. Cable management is superb, and tons of room for expansion. Love everything so far!

Extremely spacious case, beautifully created. Being in a position to do all the cabling behind the motherboard tray literally tends to make a large distinction to cleanliness of the create and airflow the moment you set it running. Tool-much less installation of disc drives is rather wonderfully carried out, extremely secure without having any screws at all. Hot-swappable HDD bays also work very nicely, really smooth installation. Quite incredibly sturdy construction. Isolating the PSU from the rest of the method also tends to make a massive distinction. With the venting on the bottom of the situation and getting that separate heat zone, temps keep fairly a bit lower than with smaller circumstances. Lower 2 HDD bays could be a tiny bit more accessible, but this is not almost adequate to knock any credit from this case. This situation is legitimately huge. It's a tiny on the heavy side as well, but that's to be expected with the sheer size. Yet another factor that comes with the size of this case if it can be a small challenging to connect everything up behind the motherboard tray. My motherboard power cable was only just barely long adequate. But that is nothing at all against the case itself, more just a word of caution when acquiring power supplies to make confident that your cables are all going to reach.

My favorite case in all the 15 years I've been making custom PCs. The cable routing selections in this case are certainly my favorite feature. I was able to route all my cables behind the motherboard with no purchasing any cable extensions except one particular fan cable extension for the lower HDD bay (fan not included with case). The 4 hot-swap drive bays are my subsequent preferred; I can ultimately get to my HDDs simply devoid of possessing to open the case side, and so on. The cooling zones seem to work quite properly, offering cool air to every single component without having passing that air more than one more component previously. A different half inch behind the motherboard for storing unused PSU cables would be great. Even so, it was not also hard to make all the cables fit back there so this is a really minor point of interest. I use a lot a lot of HDDs and SSDs in my laptop or computer, so a handful of a lot more hot-swap drive bays would be welcomed. Not at the price of fewer five.25" bays--I will need those also.

This is a Large case, and to me thats a PRO due to the fact I knew how big it was prior to my buy. All any person has to do is look at the specs of nearly ANY tiem on new egg and it will give you the dimensions. So I took out the measuring tape to get an concept of how large it would be next to my desk and was very pleased with the size. This case is significant but also very convienient. The buttons on the back to 'pop' the side panels off Each sides is ingenious. The grommeted holes for cable routing accomidate even the largest of mobos. Mine is an eATX and theres nevertheless much more space for a bigger board. The space above the mobo is excelent wether you are wanting to location a 3x120mm radiator or just three fans to push far more air. The back fan grill supports 120mm or 140mm and comes with a 140mm pre installed. Also the hot swappable drive bays are my favorite portion by far. They will help each 3.5 and two.5 hdd or ssd. I honestly can\'t assume of any cons for this case. Its built solidly and with the enthusiast consumer in thoughts. Great job corsair you have out carried out yourselves :) Aside from all the wonderful factors about this case I would say that the only issue I would have completed differently is to adjust how the bottom fan pulls in air. It does its job relatively nicely but I would have added a duct of some type so that it would pull air straight from the bottom rather than from the open space below. It is definately not a con by any suggests but i would think that regardless of the PSU getting its personal fan it will still get warm and impact the ambient temps in the bottom compartment that each the PSU and the lower fan operate in.Lastly I am thinking that they need to consider raising the case a handful of more inches and allow for the use of dual PSUs and mount them on thier sides with every PSUs fan pulling air by way of grills on thier respective sides. I dont see there getting an issue with wire space as most would use the second PSU to power there GFX cards exclusivley though the other takes care of the rest of the elements.Just some thoughts :D Thanks corsair for a great ca

Cons:Hot-swap

Pros:Big, roomy easy access
Comment:
Like the case, but i'm going to have to sell it. The hot-swap doesn't work like my old df-85. Every time i push a drive in, it accesses my burner. Wipes it right out and i need to reboot to get it back. I have a Maximus IV Extreme-Z board and have tried every configuration possible. The old DF-85 worked like a charm but the case was too small for my motherboard. All 4 hot-swaps are powered with the same power and sata cable. All 4 drives would be on one channel. I'm not in favor of that. If you don't need to swap drives then there's no issue. Other than this issue I have nothing to complain about. Most people do not need this feature.UPDATE: Bought the Coolermaster Haf X.Hot Swap works like a charm. Runs a bit cooler also. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-01-12 05:42 PM

I like the all black no flashy, blinky lights appear. PSU goes on bottom. I purchased modular PSU's, but it wouldn't matter if I didn't due to the fact the chambered off region for the PSU delivers fantastic additional cable control (unlike the medusa circumstance I got going on in my mid tower). Comes with 140 mm HDD bay fan. Dust screen on bottom of case is made out of metal and slides in from back to front about twoǙ of the way into the case. Each side panels pop off with the push of a button. Came with as numerous nuts, cables, ties....as it is supposed to. Lots of grommeted cable holes about the motherboard, probably won't will need the cable extensions that came with the case. We'll see. A single of the two instances I ordered came with a cracked side window. It looks like they cranked the nut down also tight in the course of assembly. Operating through the RMA on that correct now. Other than that, both cases survived UPS. This is not surprising, these instances are nicely made. I purchased two of these instances, one particular for my construct and a single for my dad's. My last make (also my 1st) was with a mid tower. I'm in fact seeking forward to the assembly procedure. It just looks straight forward and effortless.

Case makes my GTX 285 look smaller, still have 6 inches amongst the end of the card and the drive bay. Going from a cooler master mid tower to this. Awesome amount of space. Amazing cable management setup. PUSH BUTTON SIDE PANEL RELEASE! Front four drive bays need to have to be fastened to the caddys with screws, no snap in or lock feature.

Glad an individual is listening to the leading level Pc builders. (Please make a carrying case/bag for this thing for less difficult transport :P)

Adore the case, Almost every little thing about it, Excellent use of space, Awsome case if your going to watercool particularly, Hotswap trays are really good to have, Cable management is enormous, Close to Tooless - just the Hard drives want to be screwd into the hotswap bays... AIR Cooling is quite lacking even with 3x High Power 120x38mm Gelid fans pushing up out the best - was in a position to nevertheless roast my GTX 480 to 105c with the case closed...Also wish the HD bay in the extremely bottom was removeable and maby a direct route Tube to go from the Bottom Fan to the bottom of the case so your pulling outside cold air instead of PSU Hot air into your case

Cons:price, needs bracket adapters for 5.25" bays to hold smaller items

Pros:space, design, backplate large enough for lots of cable management without 'bulging'
Comment:
Went with this case as an upgrade from a Fractal Design mid-tower and am very pleased. There is so much more room to get components in without trying to bend cables too badly or constricting airflow throughout the tower. It comes with a few packages of mounting screws but what's needed is some extra harnesses in case you have more drives and need to get some things mounted in the 5.25" bays.Overall a great tower and looks stunning when you have the window plate facing you with a little case lighting (I actually went with a pricematched antec halo bias lighting strip just on the inside edge, to give that blueish/white highlight of my vid cards)

Pros:very spacious, really well designed, practical, elegant

You have no way of knowing if your hotswap drives are properly connected if you have any problems with hard drives. I wish there was a visible light for every drive that is connected to make sure that you have a good and working connections. I've had some problems with my ssd OS loading drive which has disappeared upon start up, forcing a restart. Yes its a drive problem but it would have helped to see a signal light confirming that the hotswap connection works fine. Otherwise this case is awesome!!! I would only add more fine mesh dust protectors to it.

Wonderful faceplate, greatest (overkill) cable management quite simple to get that clean black showroom appear.Huge and sturdy. Scary big.Comes with thumbscrews, huge MB backplate accessdoor, pushbuttom access on each sides, 8pin extension, black sata and power cables.Nice case for 100% watercooled. Value is quite high compared to competing goods.Should be a tiny large longer or the radiator desires to mount closer to the rear. Best 360 radiator intrudes into the 5.25 drive bay area.Only fits 1.5 radiator internally with out modifcation (or a modest 120 rad ie H50ኢ)Rear water tube ports ought to be offset to the suitable rather than centered. Gets in the way of the slots and MB backplate.140mm Fans don't move that much air even with fan controller at 100%.No USB3 or SATA3. They are coming out with it.There's nonetheless use for three.five bays. Fan controllers for example. Perhaps it need to come with 5.25 converter bay/plates. I came from an Antec Skeleton, overkill airflow. I altered situations to compact every thing into a single box.If you are aircooled, you definetly should not purchase this. If you are not 100% watercooled and OCed (cpu/gpus/chipset), i dont advocate it. Negative airflow (*case needs to be closed to function proper). My personal computer began off 90% watercooled and i lost stability compared to my old case all settings equal. NB before used to run មc, increased 70+ immediately after case switch causing me to fail strain tests (need high volt), that i could pass just before. My GPU CPU and NB are all watercooled. Without having the NB cooler it wasn't stable due to huge OC and lack of airflow even with additional fans directly on it.I don't care for the tooless style. That didn't operate out too well with my 5.25 bay resevoirs .Individuals complain that it is flimsy, but if it had been any thicker you would want a handtruck to move this. This case has as many flaws as it has strengths.Non-window panel accessible for ฤ

Ample space to grow your technique. The solution to do hide the 'cabling' for the mob and components is fantastic and therefore, facilitate the function on the technique for upgrades, corrections, etc. The manual its very poorly created. NOTE: to alter the front bay (optical components) the front pannel open by "pulling" up from the bottom of the pannel (there is a cavity where to pull from)

I don't know which impresses me more, the sheer size or the attention to detail Corsair put into this case. From the second I opened the box and took off the wrapping I can not basically quit staring at it! But rather of rambling, i'll just make a list of what I think about its powerful points.1) A lot of area for any and all components (including correct water cooling setupsƜ) Very rugged frame, this factor does not feel low costthree) Built perfectly to hide all those loose wires behind convenient covers.4) NO STINKING THUMBSCREWS!!! This is almost certainly my favorite component about the case even even though it is regarded a minor thing to most persons. The side panels come off with a swift press of a button, the front panel pulls away fairly easily without feeling flimsy, and all the difficult drive bays are clipped in.This is an all-about fantastic case, confident the value is about โ-100 additional than the average Full Tower but you will surely be paying for top quality. You know...I sat here and tried to come up with a single thing to complain about and I honestly can\'t. I wish it would have come with the USB3. and SATA 6Gb/s upgrades currently but I'll let it slide :)Also, the covers I described earlier that are applied to hide wires appear to be made of low-cost plastic and are held on by some awkward clips...but I plan on being very careful installing almost everything anyway so they shouldn't be a problem. As far as Corsair goes, I am ridiculously impressed because they are not a "case generating" company. Far more power to them!

I've owned several high finish circumstances more than the years and built many Pc's. I've used Lian Li, CoolerMaster, InWin, Thermaltake Antec, among others. I just can't say sufficient great about this case, it's just incredibly close to best. The only way I can see it getting far better is if it had been readily available in aluminum. It's heavy, and truly, I don't think that's a con. Anytime you get a full tower case that's not aluminum, you know in advance it's going to be a load.

Cons:It's about a 1/4 inch too narrow if you're looking to fit a 140mm rad internally on the rear exaust port.

Pros:Huge. No lack of mod ideas for it on the net.
Comment:
Bought this case to house my new watercooling goodies. The case offers lots of breathing room to fit everything in, EXCEPT, the rear 140mm fan mount can't fit a 140mm rad within the case. It's missing about 1/4 inch to fit the rad entirely within the case and instead, leans up against the side door preventing it from closing properly.

Room, area, space..I'm not your typical geek looking, 150 lbs soaking wet weakling. I have massive hands as nicely and necessary a larger case. Had the Antec 900, superior but too little and it was a nightmare setting it up due to space. This one particular has enough space and my pinky finger didn't break the fans like it did on a TT Armor+. A lot of ventillation, great case. It's as massive as my half stack guitar setup..WITH a flight case on top rated :) My A. Grey parrot pooped on it..

Great style, looks superior, solid hardware, effortless to operate with, separated ZONES, wire management. Vents... This is a good case it's built genuinely nicely, but it does appear to be geared additional towards water cooling, with the lack of vents on it, unlike their 600 which comes with a full front mesh, but with the addition of three 120mm fans, and a water cooled CPU every thing is keeping cool. This case is extremely clever in every respect. The greatest designed mainstream case I have each utilized. Exceptional workmanship and finish. I only watercool and this case was created for just that. If you are searching to develop an air cooled vacuum cleaner, this case is not for you. I run all low speed Noiseblocker fans and the only factor you can hear in my case is my PSU... barely. Wire management is the very best on the marketplace. If you are seeking to buy a laptop case and you watercool, this case is for you. *cough* Salma Hayek wasn't included in the box. Oh well. There are no cons. Seriously. Cons:- Not overly impressive as far as air cooling goes- Some of the plastic covers are a bit flimsy- Front usb 3.0 ports need to be plugged into the rear mobo 3.0 ports

Pros:- Lot's of space for wiring and coolers- Can fit a tripple radiator inside without any modifications- Fairly sturdy construction- Comes with filter for psu fan- Works very well for water cooling
Comment:
I fell in love with the elegant look of this case and caved in when I saw it on sale for $230. Having come from a HAF-922 I wasn't overly impressed with the fan options on this case for the main compartment. It is, however, an impressive case when using water cooling. I have a slim triple raditor mounter internally in push pull and another full size one mounted externally. There's enough space for a 250mm resevoir when you have a standard atx mobo installed. Pump fits in the bottom psu compartment with no issues. HDD hot swap bays are extremely convenient. This case works extremely well with a white/black build. From the way I see it, if you're going with an air cooled system, you have lots of better options for cases with high air flow. If you're going to water cool though, this case is a winner.
