I got this on a sale with a rebate - it's significantly more expensive than any of the "bargain" power supplies of the same wattage, but this one is very solid and very reliable. I got this for my sister's computer - and while this is far from the final answer in what makes a good power supply, it weighed more than twice what her old power supply did. Very solid construction.

I bought this for my old rig and it still works like a charm. Having 550W of constant power, this power supply is ideal for just about any type of single-gpu build. I would highly recommend this, as it runs cool and quiet while providing enough power. Cheers to Corsair

It keeps my OC system very stable. Never had issues with it and it work pretty quiet. The cables are long enough for my Antec Performance One full tower.

I gave this a 4 on features ONLY because it wasnt modular. It runs very cool under load. If it mounts at the top of your case then it helps vent air out of your case. The molex connectors are very high quality and don't feel cheap at all.I would definitely buy another corsair power supply in the future. BTW. It comes with a cool metal, "Powered By Corsair" sticker!! My girlfriend isnt a computer "enthusiast" and likes the sticker also. LOL

With a rebate, this was a great value, too. This thing is built like a tank. It has every kind of cable you could need. The cables are hardwired, so you will need to tie down the ones you aren't using. It is very, very quiet and barely gets warm while running, even under load. Recommended.

Great PSU. All my computer are using Corsair PSU and not one issue so far. Good for a small system as this has room to expand as it is 550W (more than enough for a small system) and a video card plug for a power hungry card.

One of the best power supplies I have bought in some time. I know Corsair wouldn't let me down, their products have always been about quality, and this power supply is no different. Heavy, solid construction with plenty of room for expansion on most mid line systems. And the price is just right for this unit, 550 watts at 80%+ efficiency for under $100, you cant scoff at that. I would definitely purchase a Corsair power supply again in the future!

Have owned it for almost a month now and very pleased. Originally purchased it to accommodate my graphics card purchase and it hasn't failed me yet. Quiet as ever, but frankly probably couldn't tell over the roar of the graphics card.

I was shopping for a P/S and based on the high ratings by other buyers I purchased this unit. It seemed like a solid unit when it arrived with more than enough connectors for my needs. I installed it and it worked fine for two minutes. I turned it off and then back on and it was completely dead: no fan, no power. I returned it to Tiger (which was easy) but I will be buying a P/S from a different manufacturer next time.

Pushes Phenom II 810 Socket AM3, 4GB Corsair DDR3 and GeForce 250 GS without breaking a sweat. Quiet as death. Corsair PSUs never fail to impress me. Definitely worth the extra money.

Picked up this unit for the average gaming system - E8400/P5Q Pro/HD 4870Fits nicely in NZXT Apollo, and it's not too tough to cable manage but it's a good hour or two worth of organization.Overall great unit, and beats most in its price range.

Great product. Used this on a build for my home office. Easy to install. The cabling is first quality with plenty of different connectors for my mixed bag of new and old components. One of the quietest fans I've ever had.

Got this along with a XFX GTS 250. This thing is super-quiet compared to my older 450W generic supply. The cables are beefy and long enough to reach everything in my case - but then, it's not a huge gaming case, so that's to be expected. This thing is nearly silent when its idle - I can actually leave my system running all night without interrupting my sleep now! I also hear that Corsair's warranty and support is one of the top, so that adds to the value. Would appreciate removing the mail-in rebate though.In the end, I would buy again.

I bought this to solve one problem: noise. It has performed at least up to expectations, keeping the tower noise to a low hum. Chassis feels solid, sheathing is perfect, and zip ties are a bonus.As an added plus, each connector has about 2cm at the end that is unsheathed. It was perfect for my cramped Antec Sonata III as my pci-e connector shoved right up to the front intake case fan. A friend recommended Corsair PSUs to me for my recent build. I have to say- impressive! It feels solid, the wires are neatly bundled in black mesh loom, and the fan is absolutely quiet. I was told Corsair makes top-quality supplies, and they tend to underrate their advertised specs. Love your PC- Poorly regulated power can wreak havoc on your system :) At $80 after rebate, this certainly is a great unit.

Nice and long cables for my Cooler Master 690, lots of connectors. Very quiet, all the cables are sheathed, it came with zip ties for cable management which is a nice touch.

This thing is increible. I just loking at it you see the quality. If you are thinkind on buying a PSU this is you baby. It's running 2 hard drives, 2 DVD's and 9600GSO vidcard, i cant even hear it.
