Incredibly sleek, quiet, sleeved wiring. Rated completely. Internal components are excellent components. It's a really well constructed PSU. It's getting to be an older design and style now and there are far better PSU's for comparable income out there. Sorry, it is a 550W PSU, my bad. Like the other reviews say, it works fine and is a good value for a mid-range create. I nonetheless think that the fan is a bit loud. They say the initial point to go is your memory, I don't remember what the other things are...

It does what it supposed to do. None yet. So several people saying that it is quiet, extremely quiet, but mine isn't that quiet at all.Its fan tends to make about identical noise as all other PSU I had utilised before if not noisier.

Mounted and hooked up with no problems. Runs quiet and cool, highly-efficient The bulky, high-high quality wires take lots of space, even with ties! The 8-pin ATX12v connector can detach into two four-pin connectors. It took me a handful of minutes of skimming the manual to uncover this.

Adore it. Cool and quiet. Excellent power range for mid tower desktop machine. The cable sleeving is a nice touch. None A plug in cable style would be a good addition to this model. In an all SATA make, you dont require six molex connectors, so there is a lot of "left more than" cable to bundle up.This power provide (Corsair CMPSU-550VX)Cooler Master 335 CaseGigabyte GA-770T-USB3 MBAMD Phenom II X4 945 CPUG-Skill DDR3-1333 4Gb MemoryPalit GE Force GTS250 videoLite-On iHAS 424-98 DVDSeagate Barracuda 160Gb HDSamsung Spinpoint F3 500Gb HDWindows 7, 64-bit

This PSU is extremely quiet. It installed fine and has never ever offered any complications. Nothing a lot more to really say here. None at all. It is not modular (so theres gonna be a tiny mess of added wires), if that matters to you. Nothing at all a couple of ties (which are integrated) repair, anyhow. It is compatible with customer UPSes (like, APC). I bought this PSU to replace one more brand PSU, simply because that 1 kept shutting off when the UPS kicked in. This Corsair PSU has no complications with the UPS and stays on, uninterrupted. This PSU is great adequate for my Computer (C2D E8500, 4GB RAM, 1x DVD-Drive, 1x Sata HDD, 1x HD 5850) and powers it without having a hitch.

It diddn't blow up on installation. It nonetheless supplies energy to my process without having something going incorrect following almost an whole year. This whole factor triggered my laptop or computer to run 20c higher than just before. The fan is on the bottom, as it was most likely meant to be mounted on the bottom of a case. Now all it does is suck in warm air from the CPU heatsink - and then it doesn't blow it out. I guess it is my fault for not considering about this ahead of time, but this was my first upgrade other than setting up memory, I sort of knew anything would go wrong. Now, 踰 later, after shopping for a new situation, and everything else that demands replacing, I believe I will ultimately have solved the challenge. Don't acquire this unless you have a bottom mounted energy provide.Lots of big wires totally block any airflow there ever was in my case. Honestly I don't know how my personal computer hasn't fully been fried yet. Make positive you have a major case with proper cable management tools ahead of you try shoving this big one particular in there. I assume a lot of my issues with this power provide had been due to me not organizing this out as completely as I need to have. You can tell just by the packaging that its higher good quality.

Quite nicely put together. I am nevertheless impressed at how significantly heavier (read: greater quality elements) this unit is compared to a 螌w" off-brand power supply. The fan is certainly silent. Cable sleeving is extremely nicely carried out and tends to make the situation interior look exceptional with really tiny effort. The huge gauge power cord was a plus as nicely. Corsair power supplies actually do live up to the hype. Want I could give it much more that 5 stars. Would have liked for it to be modular - but I knew it wasn't when I purchased it. The cables are lengthy enough to accommodate my routing wants behind the motherboard in an Antec 1040 Total Tower case. I have lost far more components to faulty / low top quality power supplies than I would like to admit. I will now be creating confident that the Corsair brand power supplies go in each and every of my builds. New Egg ordering is straightforward and shipping was much quicker than expected.

Very quiet. Runs really cool. Wonderful value! Would get once more. Corsair tends to make wonderful items. I identified recommendations for installation quite lacking. I read an hundred opinions on which way to install the PS, fan up, or fan down. i utilized my own judgment to make certain air flow was extremely adequate and cool. It appears the common tone for energy supplies is the larger the much better. I calculated each selection I may ever need to have or wish with a 93W CPU and this 550W PS covered my bases simply. I still have space on the circuit breaker for a display and printer with amperage to spare.

My Old PSU went belly up and I necessary a new a single with a single 12v and at lest 32V on the rail. This one offers 41V on its single 12V rail.Got it on sale for 59 bucks plus ten% off on a promo code and you can also send in a 10 dollar rebate. If you do all that and pay the 1.99 shipping charge you got this for about 46 dollars all with each other. This for a PSU that bounces amongst 104 dollars and 89 dollars. That my buddies is a sweet deal. Attempt to catch it on sale. If I had the dollars I would have bought five. Also went to Corsairs internet web site to register and they do not require you to register to get your warranty. All you will need is your invoice which is often saved on your New Egg account and you get a five year warranty !!Thank you New Egg for a good price tag on a wonderful PSU ! None You get a good box, Huge FAT energy cord, mounting screws, cable ties and a Corsair sticker. All this comes in a great Draw string Corsair bag inside it's box. It is the only hardware in my program that gives off any sort of heat. The heat that dose radiate out is barely observed! All the cables are nicely wrapped to let straightforward placement. Operating extremely effectively so fare. I have had no problems with the unit. I have a middle of the road process, if it was much more along the line of a gaming program, I would have gotten a larger PS. Obtaining just a single rail and the wires strapped with each other is excellent. Runs cool with 85% effective, and the solid caps. Also the 5 year warranty is good. My old unit lasted less than a year, so I bought a much better unit. Has just about each and every connector you require. The wire are not modual, so you can have a big ball of unused wires in your case taking up space and stopping air flow. I would buy this unit again, but only greater.
